Picking an Easy Mark: Helen vs Sayako! Smother Match

Standing backstage with her arms impatiently crossed, Helen was about to make her debut. The LAW higher ups must have recognised her skills because she didn't have to wait long at all before she had a debut on her hands. It was a smother match. This wasn't exactly to Helen's liking, but she figured it would be a good way to break some loser. After all, when she was aggravated, Helen certainly wasn't opposed to smothers.

Once "The Edge" began to play out in the arena and her entrance was announced, Helen made her appearance without much fanfare. Though, she got cheers from fans all across the ring, the Hellspawn did little more than put her hands to her wide hips before making her way to the ring.

Without much delay, Helen ducked under the ropes and folded her arms across her chest, not caring who was stepping out onto the ramp. All that Helen knew was that her firm ass was going to come in handy for smothering the life out of the competition.

Sayako hadn't seen action in a while, doing backstage event streams far more than anything involving her stepping in the ring. Now she was in a more gimmicky match than she was used to, but that suited her just fine. Maybe she could pick up a win for once! Sayako was parading around backstage like she owned the place wearing her orange bikini as she readied herself for a match for the first time in quite a bit.

As her music played she came out all smiles and cocky as if she was the greatest wrestler in LAW. She wasn't even in the top half of the best streamers-turned-wrestlers in LAW but she didn't care. Sayako had been working somewhat hard which is far more than she used to, and she was confident that thes was her night to finally pick up a win in LAW! "Hey everybody we're live and gonna film the whole match on livestream so my fans get their own special perspective of me taking it to whoever the hell this is!" Sayako said to her small camera she put in the corner before sliding into the ring and holding her arms out. She was all smiles and striking poses winking to the fans while waiting for the bell to ring.

Looking intently as her opponent arrived, Helen sized up Sayako curiously. Beyond the orange bikini and looking like a fool, there was something about Sayako's appearance that caught Helen's eye. Continuing to keep her eye on her opponent, Helen squinted as the streamer set up her camera and talked to her viewers. It was then that the realisation hit the Hellspawn! I recognise you. You're that fool that hasn't won a single match. It should be simple for me to dominate you." Helen informed coldly, expecting to beat Sayako's ass.

Sayako looked at Helen and shook her head. "Yeah that is right but you don't seem special either, can't wait to make ya look dumb in front of a live crowd AND the fans on the internet!" Sayako said with a big grin.

As soon as the bell rang Sayako wanted to embarrass Helen and really make her eat her words! The lightweight used her speed, her best attribute by far, and rushed right at Helen before leaping up and extending her legs hoping to kick off the match with a dropkick to the chest! Sayako wasn't used to starting out well, or doing well at all during her matches so getting a good start tonight was going to be key!

Despite her usually cold and disinterested demeanour, Helen couldn't help but let a smirk creep across her face. Listening to Sayako was pure comedy for the hellspawn. This utter failure, thirteen consecutive losses deep, was honestly still talking big to her? What an embarrassment. It would be fun for Helen to hand Sayako her fourteenth loss.

While the brunette girl was feeling cocky, Helen was genuinely caught off-guard by Sayako's dropkick. Guarding, Helen stumbled back into the ropes, catching herself. Narrowing her eyes in annoyance, the hellspawn's analytical mind was put to use as she thought about Sayako's attack. "She's fast. Not faster than me, but still."

Sayako knew that she was tiny so her opponent not being knocked down by the dropkick didn't quite surprise her. She was still happy to have landed some offense and she moved in beckoning Helen to come to her. "Come on girl show me what ya got!" Sayako said as she hoped to grab Helen by the arm when she got close, twisting to send her to the mat with an arm drag! It wasn't anything to write home about but if she could keep frustrating this woman Sayako hoped she could continue to make mistakes...

After taking a moment to get her bearings, Helen pushed off of the ropes and cracked her knuckles, annoyed by this weakling's attitude. "Oh, I'm happy to show you what I've got, girl." The Hellspawn retorted in monotone annoyance. Coming in close to Sayako, Helen knew she couldn't let her temper get the best of her, and that Sayako was likely counting on that. Playing things safe for now, Helen went on the offensive with a step in kick to her foe's belly!

Sayako was confident and stepped back up thinking she would be grappling with Helen again. Sayako lunged forward and ended up moving right into the kick! "UGH!" She groaned as she hobbled backward with her arms cradling her abdomen as she stumbled back a few steps doubled over. She was wide open for some follow up offense a position she'd rather not be in...

Seeing Sayako doubled over after her foot had crashed into her foe's abdomen, Helen wasted no time in following up. The spectacled assassin rushed forward and pushed herself over Sayako, hooking her arms under the jobber's shoulders, pulling Sayako over into a powerbomb! Though, Helen was small, and certainly not a powerhouse, the ring quaked from the impact.

To say that Sayakonwas surprised by her fellow lightweights sudden use of a powerbomb was a huge understatement. Sayako went up and crashed hard to the mat howling in pain and meekly flopping her limbs about as it looked like much of the fight had been taken out of her.
