Astrid Arvidsson vs Katherine Hart - Fight Night

The fight for respect and understanding continued to rage on between both women. Sometimes, the fiercest rivalries were built on the simplest ideas. Though there were legions of fans cheering fiercely for either lady, the fact was that both Kat and Astrid came into this contest feeling that they were the better woman, the better fighter, the better wrestler! And only one of them could emerge from this contest the victor!

Sounds of both women stomping and struggling their way across the mats filled the arena before The Super Kitty was forced to abandon the Headlock! Their fit, toned bodies had writhed against one another a few times now. Having taken Astrid's finishers before and having crossed swords with her in the Test of Strength, so to speak, Kat was now convinced. There were very few fans or wrestlers who didn't know this, but Kat was immensely strong physically. There was a reason they called her The Super Kitty, of course. But Arvidsson was in a class of her own! The Golden Dragon's strength could even top some of the very best wrestling had to offer. Names like Alaina Sanders, Karen Starring, and Dana Ashford. Strength like theirs, strength like Astrid's, was something that Kat knew she stood a mild chance at beating outright even on her best day! So if she was going to defeat The Golden Dragon here, Kat Hart was going to have to get creative! And perhaps to Arvidsson's dismay, where Kat wasn't the absolute pinnacle of strength, the legendary luchadora was perhaps the most technically sound and the most dynamic woman you could find in a wrestling ring anywhere on the planet!

"Yush!" Kat had called out an exclamation of excitement even before her Splash connected! It was as if she was sure it would connect! Even when she was still airborne!

This wasn't false confidence, of course. From the moment the bell rang, Hart studied her rival's movements. There was a lot you could learn about someone from fighting them and from taking their best moves. And Kat somehow, without even speaking to her, Kat could sense how sure Astrid was that her moves would land. That they should land! And yet, here Kat was, skillfully reading her opponent! Evading and countering her, even when Astrid was most sure of herself! You could say that it was yet another method for the luchadora to get under her fellow heavyweight's skin! All of that anger and that pride welling up within the Norwegian vixen- Kat tried to keep down for the count! The busty, masked blonde folded Astrid up well! And yet, despite not needing to, the fiery blonde kicked out before even the 2 count!

"Woah!" Kat exclaimed. Once more, she could feel the raw emotion emanating from her opponent. It occurred to Kat right away that Astrid kicked out quickly and with authority to send a message! To defend her pride! This act of defiance brought a smile to Katherine's face. A smile that probably only annoyed Astrid further.

"Heh! Tough girl! Tell ya what, if you win, I'll shut up for an hour. You'll love it." Kat was in a kneeling position after the kickout. Astrid had kicked out with so much force that she pushed Katherine off of her person. And yet, Kat found the time here to wink down at The Golden Dragon and tease her!

"Alright!" Kat banged the canvas with both fists, exciting the crowd!

The Super Kitty kept her fists balled and her arms bent as she rose up to her feet one foot at a time! Her biceps visibly flexed as she moved in for her next bit of offense! Kat would look to stand over Astrid. She straddled her rival for a second before letting out a battle cry!

"RAAARGH!" The Super Kitty and the fans rallied as Kat looked to bend down and wrap both arms around Astrid's impressive and defined core!

Kat would look to embrace Astrid from behind and put the squeeze on her in preparation to deadlift the Viking Warrior Princess up off the mat! In her own impressive display of strength, Kat would try to slowly hoist Astrid up here! And if she remained in control of things, the tag team champion would keep Astrid parallel to the mat for a moment before slowly accelerating and hoisting Astrid up higher and higher until she could quickly hurl The Golden Dragon up and over with a Bridging German Suplex!

Hart's biceps and triceps would tighten as she tried to maintain her grip on Astrid and point her toes! Not just to hit a picture-perfect German Suplex, but to keep the Waistlock and bridge applied so that she could keep Astrid's shoulders pinned to her mat and go for yet another pinfall attempt! The second one of the match! Kat's rock-hard abs would tighten as she looked to continue whittling away at Arvidsson both physically and mentally with big moves and pins!

So far, events have definitely not developed in Astrid's favor. Even though she was able to break the pin after the first count, it was more an act of pride than a real show of strength. Was this statement loud? Definitely, because both the audience and her opponent reacted to it. However, this was only the beginning, so far the Golden Dragon felt like an outsider and she understood that in order to return to the game and win, she needed to put a lot of effort into it. Trying to breathe evenly, she rolled over on her stomach, after which she heard the words of the other blonde.

Instead of answering, she just gritted her teeth. Another provocation from Katherine made the audience chuckle, which clearly did not benefit Astrid's morale. It was a provocation she shouldn't give in to. This woman was trying to play on the fiery temperament of the Golden Dragon, to make her believe that Astrid had no chance against such a famous and respected figure as Katherine. To prove this, the American woman bent down and wrapped her arms around Astrid's waist.

"Ghhh!"

This caused the blonde to let out a strangled groan. As expected, her opponent had about the same impressive strength as her. Moreover, Katherine clearly intended to demonstrate this by starting to straighten up to her full height and thereby lifting the Golden Dragon above the mat. The audience began to build up the noise, clearly enjoying the dominance of their favorite, while Astrid focused all her thoughts on the fact that she should not allow what her rival was up to.

That is why, as soon as she was in an upright position, she immediately bent both legs at the knees and threw them forward with force, thereby preventing the tag team champion from leaning back. In order to resist the grip on her waist, she had to strain her steel abs. And although she still felt pain, she bent her knees a second time to throw them forward once and thereby land both feet on the mat. Considering all the shit that happened after the bell rang, she managed to draw some conclusions. And although she was not going to give up using brute force, the descendant of the great Vikings decided that she should start acting less bluntly.

“One-two and then three...” she commanded herself mentally.

As soon as her feet were on the mat, she immediately clenched her left fist, directing the force into her left arm. She intended to throw that arm back to hit Katherine's ribs with a hard back elbow strike. However, she did not expect much success. Even if it is a successful strike, it is unlikely to cause enough damage to her opponent. Moreover, Astrid assumed that the other blonde would just try to shift to the right to reduce the damage. And it was at this moment that the Golden Dragon intended to throw her right arm back, this time aiming her back elbow strike directly at her opponent's head.

She hoped that this would be enough to stun Katherine for at least a second, because in that case, hardly anything would have prevented her from jerking forward sharply and thereby freeing herself from her rival's grip. She only needed one step forward. And if she could take that step, breaking the hold of the other blonde, then she would hold her breath because instead of wasting time taking a fighting stance, she would just turn sideways to Katherine, while bending her left leg at the knee. What for? Simple. She intended to throw that leg forward and up to hit her opponent right in the face with perhaps not the most powerful, but still effective side kick.

Kat was keen on keeping her momentum going here. The whole world had already seen during their faceoff in their promo how quickly and effectively Astrid could pick the tag team champion apart if given a big enough opening! The Super Kitty had to stay on top of Arvidsson. She had to keep coming at the Norwegian Native from all angles and with all different tactics if she wanted to make good on her words and pull off a win! If she wanted to be the wall that Astrid would have to overcome in order to cement her status as a legend at LAW!

"Hnnnnngh!" Katherine groaned through grit teeth as she hoisted Astrid up off the ground. It was clear what type of throw she was going for here! The German Suplex was a staple move in the arsenal of most wrestlers. But where The Super Kitty shined with the execution of hers was not just the strength and power with which she would hit this type of move, but the execution. Watch any Kat Hart match and you'll see the speed and the technique she's able to grapple and string execute moves on her opponents. The busty, blonde luchadora was poised to show that off here against The Golden Dragon!

"Huh???" And all this made it that much more shocking for Kat and the fans cheering her when Astrid took advantage of the brief second she was upright by kicking forward with enough force to stagger Hart's balance even if only briefly!

Kat's grip around that impressive core of Astrid's didn't waver. But she could feel those strained, muscles obliques! For as much effort as Kat was putting into keeping her lead in the match, she could physically feel the effort and the concentration that her rival was putting into turning the tables! A second kick from Astrid straightened her out enough to find her footing against the mat! And it didn't take even a second after The Golden Dragon descended for her to throw her bent arm back to Elbow the luchadora in the ribs!

"Ugh!" The Super Kitty grit her teeth! And adjusted her stance and leaned to her right! Not just to avoid further strikes from the left, but to try and grapple Astrid from the right!

The urgency and intent in Kat's expression and body language was clear. The tag team champion was ready to pivot to attacking the right side if Astrid wouldn't give her the left! Kat reached for that right arm. As Teardrop Suplex perhaps? Maybe an Olympic Slam or even a simple Hammerlock? No!

"Urgh!" Kat let out a much more distinct pained groan when she found nothing but another Back Elbow!

In a few seconds from now, Kat would grow frustrated with the fact that she didn't see it coming. Only a novice would underestimate The Golden Dragon's high in-ring IQ! Of course, she was ready to adjust and even anticipated that Kat would switch sides! Astrid caught Kat across the jaw with that one! The force of the strike was enough to make the luchadora bring her own hands to her face, allowing Astrid to slip free from her grasp! The crowd cheered as the momentum shifted! The Golden Dragon was now free! And she didn't wait long to capitalize on that! She continued to fire back at her rival! Kat's blue eyes widened as she saw Astrid lift her leg to the kick! She wordlessly staggered to the side after suffering the Side Kick! The impact looked rough to the fans and the audience, and they reacted accordingly. Fortunately for Kat, her hands were already close enough to her face that she could take the brunt of the kick with her palms!

Still, The Super Kitty staggered a few steps away, finding her footing by using the ropes of the ring for support. Kat rubbed the side of her face with her forearm. She promptly got eyes on her rival. For once, she had no words. The heat of the battle, the thrill of this fight in this moment did all the talking for her! Hart turned one of her palms skyward and curled her fingers to send a gesture Astrid's way, "Come". And if Astrid obliged, Kat would keep one hand on the top rope and look to reclaim her momentum by ducking low when Astrid got close to try and hook an arm around the big, blonde heavyweight woman's leg and lift her up and over the top rope to hopefully send her rival to the ring apron, or even better, send her hurtling to the ringside area!

At least it worked. Considering how events unfolded after the bell rang, Astrid had no reason to be sure of anything. She did not even rule out the possibility that her opponent had thought through all possible options in advance. So she could only rejoice at the moment when her elbows consistently crashed first into Katherine's ribs and then into her jaw. Feeling free, Astrid hastened to take advantage of this to finally tip the scales in her favor. And she had no better option than a kick in the face. But…

The taste of honey is not important if there is a fly in it.

Yes, it wasn't her most powerful kick, but the Golden Dragon thought that even that would be enough because she acted quickly and immediately after a more than successful elbow strike. However, the tag team champion didn't let the pain in her jaw distract her. Instead, she held both palms out in front of her face. Katherine backed away, but there was no doubt in anyone's mind that she had completely escaped the damage from the Norwegian woman's kick. It was best seen in her self-confident face the moment she looked at Astrid.

The descendant of the great Vikings raised her left eyebrow as the other blonde beckoned her over. Fury flashed in her lavender eyes, and her fists clenched. Just the expression on the face of the woman standing in front of her irritated her insanely. She clearly saw that Katherine did not perceive her as an equal, as if the tag team champion were the sole owner of both this ring and the entire federation.

As if seeing nothing in front of her, the Golden Dragon rushed forward, accelerating with every step. It might seem that she didn't care how to attack Katherine. At that moment, Astrid looked like she was completely distraught and that her only goal was to hurt her rival. It was probably obvious from the outside that she had succumbed to the provocation. So it was no surprise to the audience that at the last moment Katherine ducked and grabbed her leg, after which she deftly threw Astrid over the ropes. There was only one thing.

Astrid's lips curled into a smile because she did not succumb to provocation.

The second she was above the ropes, she grabbed the top one with both hands, which allowed her to land confidently on the apron. The tactics Katherine had chosen for this match were no longer a secret to her. So the other blonde was free to keep trying to pretend like she was the smartest one here. Astrid had other plans. Instead of pretending she was the best, she intended to prove it by beating the shit out of her rival.

Throwing both hands forward, the Golden Dragon intended to grab Katherine's head. The elbow strike and subsequent unsuccessful kick were not enough to stun her. An unfortunate oversight. But this time Astrid intended to use what should work with the highest probability. Without further delay, the descendant of the great Vikings intended to pull Katherine's head towards her, at the same time pointing her own head forward. Right. She intended to see if the tag champion could handle a headbutt right in the face.

Kat went into just about every match with a strategy. This one was no different. Wrestle a smart match, she told herself. Stick and move, be dynamic. Unlike many of Astrid's previous opponents at LAW and beyond, Kat had a certain way of ruffling the bodacious blonde's feathers. The Super Kitty had The Golden Dragon's attention in a way few others seemed to. Kat believed that she could use that to her advantage. She believed this plan could work. She believed all of that right up until she turned to face The Golden Dragon who was on the ring apron, nothing between them but a set of ring ropes!

"Hup!" Kat grunted and quickly pivoted to face Astrid! Her deep blue eyes once again met those fiery lavender windows to Arvidsson's soul!

From here, the options were endless! Surely with an arguable advantage in speed and maneuverability, Kat could pull off something big to secure the advantage rather than just barely elude Astrid again! The legendary luchadora instinctively lifted her knee. An Enzuigiri? Another type of kick, perhaps? No!

"Ehh!?" Hart clenched her teeth when Astrid secured her masked head between her hands! For just a fraction of a second, a look of deep concern flashed on Kat's face! She could feel it in the pit of her stomach. Despite wrestling a smart and technical match thus far, she was the one who finally made a mistake!

CRAAAACKKKK!

Not even a second after Astrid grabbed her head did she throw her head forward with a mighty Headbutt! The sound of the two women's heads colliding echoed out like a thunderclap! But that wasn't the only thing that caught the attention of the fans and viewers!

A loud reaction of screams and gasps could be heard when a flash of red flew from Kat's forehead! The instincts of wrestlers and analysts made everyone suspect at first that it was blood. But this object traveled far too quickly to be Kat's blood. No, it was solid. It was shards of the red gem that Kat fondly wore on the forehead of her mask! Astrid had struck her so hard that the gem fractured and flew from her head, hopefully making a fan's day when the pieces soared over the ring and into the crowd!

This display spoke to just how hard Astrid had struck! Kat immediately reared back! She began to fall back lifelessly like a freshly chopped tree! She slumped down unceremoniously! The luchadora's fingers on her right hand were curled over the top rope. It was the only anchor she had preventing her from falling to the floor onto her back! Hart hung off the ropes awkwardly, almost comedically at an angle. She was nearly parallel to the canvas with her feet together and one arm hanging limp, touching the mat beneath her. Katherine's eyes nearly rolled to the back of her head! Sweat dripped from her upper body as she did all she could do in this state at the moment: breathe!

It was clear even at a glance that The Super Kitty might have been knocked out, even if only for a few seconds! After seeing Kat Hart stunned and slumped against the ropes like this, fans all around the arena roared with a range of hysteric emotions!

Though uncertainty was in the air everywhere, the one thing that was certain was this: Astrid would certainly seize this opportunity she created! And if Kat was cognizant enough to realize it in this moment, even she would be sure that The Golden Dragon was about to descend upon her with all of her righteous fury!

Astrid didn't have the habit of holding back her emotions, which was exactly what Katherine was trying to take advantage of. It took the Golden Dragon a while to figure it out, but now it was as clear to her as the sky on a cloudless summer day. Yes, it was her mistake that she allowed Katherine to play on her feelings and fiery temperament, which as a result led to a far from the best start of the match for the descendant of the great Vikings. But, as befits a fighter, she drew conclusions because if you don't learn from mistakes, you'll never reach the top.

This quickly bore fruit as the tag team champion clearly did not expect Astrid to land on the apron. When the blonde grabbed her rival's head, she clearly saw the shock in Katherine's eyes. In another situation, Astrid would have allowed herself to smile, but now she didn't have time for that because she intended to shift the scales in her favor. Without any mercy, she pointed her head forward, which was accompanied by enthusiastic shouts from the audience.

At the moment of the collision, an eerie sound swept through the arena, causing some spectators to wince. Astrid's headbutt turned out to be so powerful that she managed to crush the decorative gemstone on her rival's mask. She did not take this into account and she was very lucky that because of this a wound did not appear on her forehead. But even though it was her own attack, it didn't go away for the Golden Dragon without consequences. Releasing Katherine's head, the Norwegian woman grabbed the rope with her left hand, while she covered her forehead with her other hand.

“Grhhh...” she groaned through clenched teeth.

She felt a terrible headache, but this fact only made her happy. Why? Because if she feels such intense pain, it means that everything was several times worse with Katherine. It was difficult to doubt this fact, because the tag team champion almost collapsed on the mat, only by grabbing the top rope she managed to maintain a more or less vertical position. But the most important thing, of course, was that after the headbutt, the other blonde was stunned so hard that she couldn't move.

“Is it not so much fun to mock me anymore?" Astrid growled, reminding Katherine of everything she had said both before and after the start of the match.

Not wanting to miss such an auspicious moment, the Golden Dragon reached for her opponent's head again. She intended to grab Katherine and pull her up so that the upper part of her body was above the middle rope on the apron side. Facing the audience, Astrid intended to wrap her opponent's head with her arms using a three-quarter facelock hold, which caused the audience to start building up the noise, because despite the fact that the bulk of them supported Katherine, it was obvious to them that Astrid was preparing for something very serious.

“Can't stand people like you...”

That would be the last thing she said before jumping off the apron. The Golden Dragon intended to fall into a sitting position and thereby use an elevated cutter to drive Katherine's head into the apron, the hardest part of the ring. It's not every day you see such hard moves in a standard match, but Astrid didn't care. She knew that if successful, her opponent's body would most likely fall over the rope and Katherine would fall to the concrete floor. But she made a promise to win this match and for this she was going to use all the means available to her, because only in this case she would once and for all make it clear to this woman that she is not someone who can be underestimated.

The tactic of riling up The Golden Dragon was a double-edged sword. Kat had no problems leaning into her role as Astrid's adversary here- as the wall that The Golden Dragon would have to overcome if she wanted to truly cement her legacy at this wrestling company! Kat was all too aware of the fact that more she talked, the harder Astrid wanted to hit her. And that was precisely Hart's challenge in this very moment! Astrid Arvidsson was a proud woman! One who was unable to hold back her emotions just as much as she was unable to hold back against her rivals in the squared circle!

Astrid had finally gotten her hands on Katherine! The Golden Dragon scored with a massive, decisive blow! One that left The Super Kitty reeling and defenseless! The fiery blonde must have been filled with a sense of satisfaction, but Astrid wasn't one to get complacent. She didn't pass up on the opportunity to press the attack here! The taller woman reached forward and once again grabbed the luchadora by the head! The fans were still reacting to the harsh blow from earlier, even while Arvidsson set up for her next big move! Astrid pulled Hart partway through the ropes. The masked beauty's arms dangled lifelessly as her upper body peered through the middle and top ropes! The middle rope pushed up her voluminous bust, making the dazed Kat look rather appealing as she lay there in Astrid's grasp! The Super Kitty's closed eyes and semi-conscious face were on display as Astrid held her with the Facelock! A low hum of expectation emanated from the crowd! Their reactions grew louder, welling up into a full-on cheer as Astrid set her opponent up here!

"AUUUGHHH!" The noise from the cry that Kat let out was almost as loud as the sound of the impact! In one fell swoop, Astrid drove Kat down headfirst into the hardest part of the ring, completely taking control of the match and rallying the audience behind The Golden Dragon!

Astrid's Cutter spiked Kat in the crown of her head! The Super Kitty remained upside down for a couple of seconds before flopping forward and falling into a heap onto the thinly padded concrete at ringside!

After collapsing onto the ringside floor, Kat brought both her forearms over the top of her head! She clenched her teeth and grimaced with pain! All the while the fans cheered the big move Astrid just hit!

"Urgh!" Hart continued to grimace in pain.

"That really hurt, Cupcake! You're lucky I think you're cute! Agh, I'm gonna be feeling that one tomorrow!" Hart would exclaim in anguish as she turned onto her front and reached out for the barricade to try and slowly find her balance to begin working her way back up to her feet!

The commentators and the fans remarked at the fact that this contest had really begun to heat up here as Astrid took command of the match!

For the first time since the start of the match, Astrid earned some reaction from the audience. Perhaps not everyone was happy that everyone's favorite Katherine was under attack, but they were definitely impressed by the movement that the Golden Dragon used. Yes, of course, when she landed with her butt on the concrete floor, she didn't feel anything pleasant, because in fact it hurt. But there was a smile of satisfaction on her face as the tag team champion's head crashed into the toughest part of the ring.

"How funny..." she thought, looking at the audience, who were now ready to give her some support, although not so long ago most of the arena was on the side of her rival.

It was difficult to estimate how much damage Katherine had suffered, but apparently this movement was enough to finally tip the scales in the direction of the descendant of the great Vikings. Her opponent's body crashed to the concrete floor and even rolled away, which Astrid hadn't really planned or expected. By the time she got to her feet, Katherine found herself near a metal barricade separating them from the audience.

“ONE!”

The referee decided to remind everyone that this is a standard match and that the time that Astrid and Katherine can spend outside the ring is very limited. Well, the Golden Dragon had no reason to be upset or angry about it. However, apparently she was in a hurry with this, because a moment later something happened that angered her again.

Of course, she knew how strong Katherine was, so it was not surprising that even after such an attack, the champion was striving to get back on her feet. That wasn't the point. In a way, it was even commendable that she grabbed onto the barricade in order to pull herself up, thereby showing fighting spirit. But when she started talking…

"Hm..." The Golden Dragon snorted in annoyance.

And after the word “cupcake” she rushed forward, this time not having the slightest desire to let Katherine finish her speech. If the American woman thought that Astrid would just stand and listen to her every time, giving her an opportunity to recover, then she should have thought again. The advantage was in her hands and she wasn't going to waste it.

Taking as much speed as the small space between the ring and the barricade could give her, Astrid intended to push off the concrete floor to make a leap, while simultaneously moving her right knee forward with the intention of smashing Katherine's head against the metal barricade with a running knee strike!
