The 'Dragon Empress', Satomi Saito vs 'Hurricane' Makie Akamatsu
Match Type: "Standard."
Win by scoring a pinfall of three seconds on the opponent, forcing a wrestler to submit, or knocking the wrestler out. Additionally, if a wrestler remains outside the ring for too long, they will be disqualified after a ten count. Furthermore, if a wrestler performs an illegal move and is caught in the act by the in-ring official, they will be disqualified.
Standard rules - DQs, Count-outs, and the submission or pinfall MUST happen within the confines of the ring.

"...Entering first, hailing from Tokyo, Japan...standing at 5'6 and weighing in at 143 lbs...ALL HAIL...THE DRAGON EMPRESS...SATOMI SAITO!!!!"


Satomi would emerge from backstage with another fiery array of pyrotechnics, mimicking a cluster of dragons breathing red-hot flames that would torch the entrance ramp area before lighting up the path down the ramp toward the ring. The Empress had reappeared for another conquest-...this time, she'd be up against a wrestler invoking a force of nature itself into her. This supposed STORMBRINGER that Satomi had the pleasure of battling tonight was Makie Akamatsu, known to some as 'Hurricane Makie'...a VERY interesting woman with an equally interesting family lineage. Her brother had a hellacious battle with another noteworthy combatant, Wisteria Khan of the Akan bloodline...along with that Bando woman, Kimiko, Satomi was pleased to see so many various and legendary bloodlines and families with talent here in this company. There were so many legacies to challenge and CRUSH, all while cementing that of her family...Satomi felt like a kid in a candy shop with too many options to pick from...there was only one crown and only ONE house could rule...and Satomi wanted to ensure that when the dust settled, it would be the Saito Family standing above ALL.

And so, Satomi descends down the aisle and rolls into the ring with grace and style, rising and slamming her foot down to send a quake through the ring which gave way to a dramatic burst of flames spewing from the turnbuckles as she outstretched her arms to bask in her glory.

No one in the arena could deny it: Satomi had had a VERY impressive entrance. The pyrotechnics, the background theme...that alone made for a very flashy entrance. But in reality it was mainly Satomi herself: her outfit, her appearance, and above all the sheer and utter confidence which which she strode down the ramp and basked in the fiery inferno around her all captivated the audience. She looked like a woman who truly wore the title "Dragon Empress" well.

Then, as abruptly as it began, Satomi's theme ended...and another one came blazing to life.

"And opposing her...hailing from Tokyo, Japan...standing at 5"4 and weighing 124 lbs...give it up for THE HURRICANE, MAKIE AKAMATSU!!!!"

As the song roared to life, Makie Akamatsu made her entrance, to the cheering of the fanbase. Pumping up an arm and saluting her fans with a V-sign, Makie strode down the ramp, eagerly hi-fiving the fans as she made her way down. Breaking into a run, she raced for the ring and climbed the turnbuckle, raising both her arms to the cheering crowd.

Makie had only been in LAW for a short while, and she had not yet won a single match...but she was entering with the energy and confidence of a seasoned title holder. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and very quickly the crowd was cheering her on.

Hopping back down to the ring, Makie eyed her opponent for the first time. Satomi Saito was taller than her, and had a lean, powerful build that spoke to her being a highly versatile fighter. More than that, there was a confident, arrogant posture to her that Makie immediately didn't like.

She walked over to Satomi, eyeing her carefully. "Huh...I think you might be in the wrong arena," she said, putting a hand on her hip as she met her foe's masked gaze. "I think the furry convention is next door."

"Oh, make no mistake Makie...I'm EXACTLY where I need to be. Right in front of the next stepping stone on my path toward the top. For someone from the Akamatsu family, I expected you to have better manners than this, although it seems your brother is the only one with brains and a halfway-decent understanding of social cues. I suppose it's to be expected when you're the runt of the litter. It's a mighty shame, though...after seeing your brother lose to that 'Wisteria Khan' lady, you'll be forced to uphold the family tradition of being beaten by someone from a superior bloodline." Satomi said, her words venomous and tactical, making surgical incisions on Makie's ego with every sentence.

"Clearly it's YOU who doesn't understand where you are right now. You're in the ring with a prodigy talent from the Saito family...someone with the skills to actually achieve their goals. For you, this sport is nothing more than a lofty dream...but for ME...it's an empire to conquer. So go ahead and make your cute little comments. Because after I demolish you, this will be the last time your name will carry ANY relevance in this ring." She spat, glaring at her with a rather disdainful look. However, before Makie could even get a word in, Satomi would strategically turn away, denying her the time of day just as the referee stepped forward, blocking them from interacting before the bell could ring. Internally, the Dragon Empress grinned with such malicious glee, knowing she had cut deep in a few areas, and she couldn't wait to break the woman down piece by piece...

Satomi would return to her corner, loosening herself up before the referee came to check her gear and attire, looking for any hidden weapons or illegal items. Once he was done there, he'd do the same with Makie, and after that, both wrestlers would be asked if they were ready to begin. Satomi would merely smirk and nod silently. When Makie confirmed her readiness, the referee would make a call to the outside, getting the bell to ring and allowing this fight to begin!!!

Makie had gone into the ring initiating the trash talk, deliberately being brazen and rude towards the dragon girl. Satomi had that whole "holier than thou, I am superior" pose to her that immediately set Makie off, and so Makie wanted to make it clear to her opponent just how unimpressed she was by her posturing.

What Makie didn't expect was for Satomi know quite a bit about her, or for her to have quite the barbed tongue of her own. Makie blinked in surprise as Satomi brought up her family, but also Kyo and his own fight record...and proceeded to ruthlessly mock both her and her family. Though Makie wasn't as big on defending family honour as Kyo was, Satomi's comments still stung, and she involuntarily clenched a fist as Satomi taunted her.

"Oh yeah? Well how about--" Makie began, storming after Satomi as she sauntered away...only to be cut off as the ref immediately interposef herself between them, yelling at Makie to get back to her corner. Fuming, Makie returned to her own corner, glaring daggers at Satomi as she allowed the ref to check her over for weapons.

And then, with that, the bell rang. Makie was angry, and the moment the bell began she was rushing, leaping boots-first at Satomi to try to nail the tall aristocrat with a running drop kick!

Makie had fallen for Satomi's comments hook, line, and sinker, losing her temper before the bell had even rung and becoming more infuriated after Satomi rubbed salt in the dark-haired woman's freshly opened wound by denying her the chance to retort. This forced Makie to simmer and marinate in her own anger and frustration, all of it reaching a critical boiling point as her fiery glare was now ultra-focused on the smart-mouthed aristocratic socialite. This so-called 'Empress' had struck a deep nerve by belittling Makie and her family, and it was all going according to plan.

After a short interval for gear checks, the bell would ring in a few moments, but the Dragon Empress was reclined against the turnbuckle, nonchalantly relaxing as if she were spending time on an island resort while her opponent seethed with quiet anger. Satomi would remain in her corner, staring right back at Makie with a smug look on her face that spoke volumes amid the silence shared between the two, something to further irritate the fired-up Makie as she bolted out of her corner once the bell rang, looking to squash Satomi with her boots in the form of a harsh Running Dropkick, but the Empress was a step ahead of her, easily dodging out of the way of the Akamatsu sibling's attack, allowing Makie to crash feet-first against the turnbuckle before falling to the canvas like a dolt.

Satomi would mock her with an ostentatious laugh, taunting her for such a sloppy technique before rolling her over onto her front and quickly showcasing her power and form with a Deadlift German Suplex Toss, wrapping herself around the woman's body before leaning back with force and might. In one smooth motion, the masked woman had managed to throw Makie up and over in a clean arc before releasing her and letting her crash back down against the mat with a harsh -THUD- upon impact.

Makie wasn't thinking about whether Satomi had lured her into a trap. She wasn't considering that the dragon girl was already anticipating her move. She gave no thought other than her desire to kick her opponent's face in for daring to talk smack about her, her wrestling career and her family like that. And she was looking forward to the look of stunned surprise on Satomi's face when her boots connected with it.

The only problem was the whole "connecting with it" part, though, as Satomi ended up elegantly dodging out of the way.

"FU--" was all Makie managed to say before she landed butt-first against the mat, wincing as the pain of impact shot up her tailbone. The pain didn't end there, though, and nor did the humiliation: laughing haughtily, Satomi grabbed Makie around the waist, and next thing she knee she was being hurled head over heels!

She slammed down hard on her back, the impact causing lower body to fold over so that her ass was briefly in the air...before gravity kicked in and she collapsed onto her side, stunned by Satomi's devastating counter...

"Oops~...I didn't mean to make such an 'ass' out of you...but I guess that's just what happens when you face off against someone from a superior bloodline." She said, walking over and grabbing Makie by the hair, ignoring the referee's warnings and quickly picking her up, shoving her into the corner Satomi was resting in before the bell rang. She'd pie-face Maki with her palm, shoving it against her cheek over and over again, mocking her a little before lining up a sharp Knife-Edge Chop across the woman's upper chest, slashing her palm across Makie's leotard-clad skin as she aimed to leave the woman with nothing but stinging aches and pains that burned like nothing she'd ever experienced before. She didn't just want to beat Makie, she wanted to DOMINATE her. "Come now, where's all that fury from before, Miss 'Hurricane'...you're no more terrifying than a light spring breeze." She said, following up with ANOTHER chop across Makie's chest. "You really believed that someone of YOUR caliber could best someone like me? You couldn't even leave a DENT in my 'scales'~..." She continued, hitting Makie with a THIRD chop.

The match was only a few seconds old, and already, Makie was being humiliated, left with her ass hanging in the air after being devastated by a suplex. Even worse, Satomi was mocking her over it. Makie's face burned red with humiliation as she tried to crawl back to her feet-- her scalp burned as Satomi grabbed a handful of her hair, yanking her to her feet.

And THEN the bell rang.

Makie grimaced as she was shoved in the corner, her cheeks compressed briefly by the sadistic dragon girl...before a brutal knife edge chop came slashing into her chest. A sharp gasp escaped Makie's chest as she doubled over, before a second chop slammed into her as well! "AAAGH" she cried, arching back and trying to cover her hurting chest.

Before her, Satomi was rearing back for a third strike, taunting her all the while. "Shut uuuuuppp--" Makie hissed, before balling her fist and driving it right between Satomi's own barely-covered orbs, hoping to drive the dragon girl back and at least give herself some breathing room!

The punch knocked Satomi back, the force causing her to stumble a few steps, with the crowd quickly rallying behind Makie in support of the woman for handily putting the arrogant, brash woman in her place. However, this strike was not enough to scar the refined scales of the Dragon Empress. Satomi's blood boiled slightly, and an infuriated expression arose on her face. "You've no concept of the level of retribution I'm about to rain down on you." She said, going right back at Makie, throwing caution to the wind as the two brawled like madwomen, punching and elbowing each other all over as Satomi collided against Makie in the corner, looking to batter the woman and leave her worse off after this rough and stiff strike exchange had concluded.

Between haggard breaths, Makie allowed herself a slight grin as her punch struck home, hammering Satomi right between her fishnet covered breasts. "What?" she breathed. "You made them a very visible target!

In response, Satomi came at her with an enraged lunge. Thinking quickly, Makie would move to slide between the ropes to avoid the Dragon Emprees: if she managed that then she would grab the middle rope with both hands and swivel her whole body to the side, aiming to drive her boots into Satomi's head or chest with a timely kick!
