Kyoko Akan (C) vs Akari Ito - Queen DJ

Kyoko liked her chances, but Akari seemed to find her resolve after the pin attempt and before Kyoko could get too comfortable in her spot on top the Dj was kicking out before a 2 count. the crowd erupted and Akari seemed to try to find a second wind to her madness while Kyoko looked at the girl rolling away with disgust. She stood up and would look at Akari, watching and waiting for her to get up, or try to return to her feet and quickly went for her kneeling superkick the moment she was up on her feet. Smacking her face with another kick to knock her ass back down.

"Kick out as much as you like, all that heart won't make you fight better." Kyoko said grabbing Akari and pulling her away from the ropes if her kick connected. She'd then back away into the corner, causing a shift in the fans attitudes, they knew what Kyoko was doing next and couldn't believe she was going for this that quickly. Kyoko stayed in the corner and lowered herself waiting for Akari to rise up once more and when she did Kyoko would come running in, charging at her for another devastating Spear!

To anyone else, it seemed like the kick connected...but Akari managed to slip it ever so slightly, narrowly avoiding taking the full brunt of the hit as she rolled with the impact like you would with a punch. From then on out, the Sea Turtle faked being in a daze to try and get Kyoko to drop her guard, looking for an opening of sorts if the champion fell for it. Akari would allow Kyoko to drag her along, seemingly out of it as she slumped against the woman for a moment, already ragged with exhaustion by the looks of it, giving Kyoko nothing to worry about on a surface level...if anything, it probably fed into the Belly Queen's ego seeing how easily she was decimating this stubborn, loud-mouthed upstart. Akari would be pulled along like normal, with Kyoko setting up for a dangerous move of some kind as evidenced by the crowd's reaction. Whatever this was, Akari KNEW it wasn't going to be safe to tank. She caught a glimpse of the Belly Queen revving up and charging at her, giving the Sea Turtle a VERY good idea of what was coming her way as Kyoko ran in like an enraged bull.

By the skin of her teeth, Akari managed to avoid Kyoko's hellish Spear tackle, leaping over her as Kyoko dove under to try and snipe the woman's abdomen with her shoulder, resulting in Akari catching a lucky break as Kyoko hit the canvas, giving the Sea Turtle a perfect opportunity to mount her counter-offensive...which she IMMEDIATELY kicked off with a TIGHT Boston Crab in the center of the ring, locking those tough legs of Kyoko's down as she bent her backward!!!

The crowd booing did little to make Kyoko reconsider her next move. "You fools wanted this, you can't hold it against me after today." Kyoko said taunting the crowd while in the corner and preparing to waste Akari the moment she was back up to her feet. The second she started too, she ran in charging at her and trying to knock her back down and go for another pin, but when she went low to hit her Akari jumped up and went high causing Kyoko to miss completely. Kyoko had jumped in for the spear, leaving her with no room to catch herself and ended up falling to the mat and nearly face planting. She caught herself only for Akari to grab her legs and sit on her back to bend her in a Boston Crab submission hold.

"Aagggh!" Kyoko screamed, pushing herself off the mat to try and handle the pain but feeling it spread across her back while Akari bent her legs as far as she could. Kyoko started to scramble on the mat, looking for a way to get closer to the ropes so that she could escape, inching her way towards them even though she had to carry the weight of Akari as well.

Akari would WRENCH Kyoko's legs back as FAR as she could yang them, aiming to bend those legs with as much pressure as she could tack on, using this moment to catch her breath AND undo all of Kyoko's momentum, each scream of pain and frustrated grunt signaling to the Sea Turtle that she had turned the tables for now as she made Kyoko pay for EVERY single inch crawled across. When Kyoko was nearing the ropes, Akari released her, breaking the hold but not letting Kyoko have a single moment to think as she raced off toward the ropes on the opposite side of the ring, aiming to build up as much speed as possible before hurtling herself right back at Kyoko in order to slam her knee across the woman's jaw as HARD as she could with a Running Knee Smash while Kyoko was barely above the bottom rope while trying to pick herself up.

The champ was hurt, but she wouldn't be defeated so easily. All Akari did was surprise her. She kept crawling her way towards the ropes that could be her freedom, dragging herself there even as her legs were yanked far enough back in the opposite direction that she she could feel her spine bending into a C. She winced and kept going, finally grabbing the ropes just for Akari to let go right after, not even waiting a bit to let the count linger. Kyoko tried to pull herself up and lean on the ropes a little more, which she found out too late Akari was counting on when she ran in and bulldozed her with a running knee.

"Ggaagh!" Kyoko screamed, not only feeling the knee smash the side of her head but pushing her into the ropes which almost gave her a violent whiplash when the ropes naturally pushed back. Kyoko was knocked off the ropes and laid on the mat holding her head while lost in the blurriness that followed that painful drop, giving Akari time to move and the crowd more to cheer for.

Slamming her knee into the arrogant champion's face felt so GOOD to Akari. After suffering so much at the beginning, the Sea Turtle was finally able to even the playing field and showcase that she could move just as fast and hit just as hard as the Belly Queen, leaving her reeling in pain as Kyoko continued to struggle and writhe beneath the raven-haired beauty. While Kyoko was grasping at the ropes, Akari would drag her over into a new set-up, pulling her between her legs and giving Kyoko no time to process what was happening before hitting her with a Kneeling Facebuster, bouncing Kyoko's head off the mat after driving it down against the canvas!!!

Akari would come to a stop, resting atop the back of Kyoko's head before rolling the hopefully limp champion onto her backside, but not going for a pin just yet. No, no-...she wanted to give Kyoko a similar "wake-up call" as she gave to her...one that would remind Kyoko that Akari was NOT to be looked down upon. She would stand over the so-called Belly Queen of LAW and deliver a Standing Double Stomp right to the woman's gut to snap her back into the match if she was at all dazed following that Kneeling Facebuster from before, leaving Kyoko to wallow in the sudden spike of pain coursing through her abdomen paired with the hopefully splitting headache she was beginning to suffer from.

Akari was taking advantage of stunning the champ to try and put Kyoko through the same paces she put her through, and clearly had a bit of a vendetta for Kyoko's disrespect to add to it. The Belly Queen tried to move away from the woman only for Akari to grab her arms and put her head between her legs lifting her up just enough that she was on her knees and trapped before jumping and forcing her face back down to the mat.

"Aaghh!" Kyoko screamed bouncing off the mat, still trapped by Akari who turned them around and finally let go after that. While Kyoko's hands went to her bruised face Akari stood up and tried to bruise something else by going for a big double stomp right after the facebuster, bringing both of her feet right down on her stomach with a brutal big stomp. "Ugggh!" Kyoko gasped feeling the weight of the sea turtle on her abs, something that was impossible for any human body to handle as the pain grew the deeper the boots pushed into her abs. Kyoko's body shot up from the stomp leaving the Queen in a coughing fit, bringing her hands down from her face to her stomach.

"We're just getting started, 'Queen'-..." Akari said, the bitterness in her tone very apparent after leaving Kyoko gasping and groaning for air. Knowing she couldn't quite pin Kyoko at this point, she let a frustrated sigh escape her lips as she moved to roll the woman over and go for a tight Camel Clutch instead. Akari wanted to put Kyoko away for good but she was smart enough to recognize that if she got ahead of herself, she'd NEVER beat the woman. She couldn't have a repeat of their last encounter and she DEFINITELY couldn't allow herself to get too caught up in the emotions between her and the Belly Queen. But damn was it difficult to not just go for broke and brawl with the woman...as someone who traditionally courts danger in the ring, Akari was attempting to play it fairly safe. This was a title match and she couldn't afford to squander her opportunities. At least with the Camel Clutch, she could feel a bit of satisfaction as she once again made Kyoko pay for every second she had her trapped in it til she escaped.

The pain spread throughout her body, giving the Queen a painful reminder of what she was going through. She hated to feel like this, but she refused to lay down and take it much longer. She felt Akari grab her and try to sit on her to set up a camel clutch, and despite the pain she found the strength to resist the attempt to trap her in a camel clutch submission. The last thing her back needed was to be bent like that a second time in just a few minutes. She grabbed Akari's arms to try and keep the lock up from happening while she also tried to sit up despite Akari being on top of her to stop or slow her efforts to do that.

This resistance wouldn't win out when Akari had the better position, she'd lose it eventually unless she could escape. So she played into that and shuffled back a little, making it seem she was trying to slide out, expecting Akari to try and grab her and pull her into position again or put her in a better one, and when she did that she'd turn and try to pull Akari's head in with her arm and roll back and hook Akari's leg to try and surprise her with a small package pin attempt.

"GRAH-!!!" Akari grunted, kicking out with as much force as she could possibly muster, breaking free from the Small Package Pin and rolling away, her head spinning as in a near instant she was defeated by such a simple move. For a moment, she pondered what would've been a worse defeat...a humiliatingly simple roll-up pin or an agonizing, brutal beatdown. She quickly snapped out of it shortly after. There was no reason to dwell on it, nor feed into the ideas that she was going to lose to the likes of someone like Kyoko, someone who should be a role model for others, a guiding hand and a pillar of this division, one who led by example...not some ruthless she-Devil who belittled and broke anyone in her path. Akari got back up to her feet and readied herself, knowing full well that she wouldn't be able to get to Kyoko in time to attack...so all there was left to do was prepare for the inevitable as she looked to square up against the fearsome Belly Queen of LAW.
