Ice and Quiet: Wisteria vs. Isljoninna

Isljoninna could see in Wisteria's face a look of concefn followed by relief, rather than satisfaction followed disappointment, with regards to her dangerous brush with a worse case scenario. That was somewhat comforting, but also a little annoying. It'd feel in someways better if she was getting handled in this way by a woman who was trying but failing to destroy her, rather accidentally coming close to dealing devastating damage, but Carolina had both enough sense & a lack of desire to despise Wisteria to prefer the latter to the former.

Nonethless, her opponent still chose to drag her up by her hair rather than attempt to scoop her, even if it was clear that she was doing it somewhat gingerly. She was protecting herself from her even as she tried to protect Carolina, which was sensible. What was a bit premature, But understandable, was her attempt to pin her after pulling her into the ring.


"1..."

The referee began to count, but Carolina was close enough to grabb on to the bottom rope to break the pinfall count.

"I'm ok." Carolina said, looking at Wisteria, her voice meant to be reassuring, even if her back still hurt plenty.

"You won't be, though." She continued, smiling softly and speaking playful tone. The Ice Lioness doubted she had it in her to win the match, but she wasn't going to let Wisteria step away without being made to scream, or at least, she'd try to prevent that. Any more shocks to her back or spine would probably leave her to call it quits.

Sheena was definitely concerned right now. Isljoninna was aggressive and stand offish but she didn't want to injure the woman, let alone permanently. Which was why after the near disastrous impact with the steel steps Sheena wanted to end the match as soon as possible to hopefully prevent further damage. So imagine her surprise when after but the count of one her opponent got a foot on the ropes! "What?!" Sheena gasped while looking down at her opponent after sitting up. Only to see the lioness... smiling at her? yet also promising she wouldn't be. 'She can't be serious.' Sheena thought to herself after pushing some hair back before shaking her head in resignation.

"Alright. If that's how you want it." Sheena said with a nod before reaching down to grab hold of the blonde locks of her opponent to pull her up as Sheena got to a standing position. If successful she would pull Isljoninna along with her towards the center of the ring before forcing her to bend over and putting the woman's head between her legs. All before she would try and pull the woman up and over her shoulders and grabbing hold of her head. Holding her for a moment to make sure she was positioned securely Sheena would sigh in resolution as she jumped up and fell down to the mat, looking to land her finishing move the Wrath of Khan!

Carolina, new to LAW as she was, overestimated her endurance & abilities. That was a marked turnaround from where she started the match. She'd entered the match lamenting her so far short career in LAW to not be particularly promising, to being caught up in the drama of the match as she fought it.

But having kicked out of the pin put on to her from her painful, but must less damaging as it otherwise might have been, encounter with the steel steps, she expected that she'd be able to find a second wind. As it turned out, she couldn't. Perhaps that was for the best. But it certainly didn't feel like that at the moment. Instead the same frustrations that started the match returned, with a vengence.

Once Wisteria had pulled her to her feet by her hsir, the numbness she'd felt on her back immediately left, replaced with a sharp psin that stopped her from being able to resist her opponents actions, but it didn't stop Carolina from feeling demoralized about everything that brought her to that point. It was a combination that left her helpless to what followed.

Isljoninna found herself flipped up and over the shoulder of her opponent, an action that was plenty painful in of itself at that point. Though it would get much worse in almost an instant, as her foe grabbed her neck as she hung over her shoulder.

She screamed, terribly, knowing what was coming before being cut off by the sound of Wisteria dropping to the canvas. Carolina simply flopped onto her back after the finisher, sprawled arms out, unmoving apart from her heaving breath. That match was surely over.

Sheena really did not want to do this. Not after that stair spot that could have gone disastrous, it was why she simply went for a pin and practically begged for the woman to simply accept her defeat and have the three count be made. Yet.. for whatever reason the blonde chose not too, she forcefully broke the pin and left Sheena with no other choice but to end this in the only way she knew would be definitive. Wrath Of Khan. A move that would leave her opponent laid out and fully unable to break free of another pin. Sitting up after landing the move Sheena would shake her head at the unnecessary brutality before moving to sit on the woman's waist, grabbing her wrists and pinning them above the woman's head, setting her weight down atop her form for a dominant pin that would hopefully see the end of this bout!

Isljoninna was, of course, in no position at all the stop what was coming to her. It sucked that things were going to end this way, but it was what it was. The small consolation was that she'd escape this match a lot less hurt than she very easily could've. But another defeat was, well, still, another defeat. Sheena pulled her up to her feet, locked her arms around hers as they went back to back and pulled her up into the air before grabbing her neck. Carolina wouldn't even remember the move itself as she hit the mat, as it knocked her out then & there. The pin would come & next, too would the count.

With that the match was over. As much as Sheena didn't want to end it that way she was left with no choice. Sitting up and rubbing her chin Sheena would get up and have her hand raised, posing for the crowd as they cheered in response to her victory, the rather intense bout leaving many on the edges of their seat and now out of them in response to the impressive, if vicious victory from the purple haired girl. Looking down at her opponent as she took her hand away from the ref Sheena would offer a nod of respect to the unconscious blonde before turning to make her way out of the ring and head to the back to recover after such a arduous affair.
