It had been awhile since Amber had been in the ring at LAW. Having taken a vacation, she was finally back and looking for a fight. Management had told her she'd be in the ring with someone more in her weight class this time. She rolled her shoulders a little before she heard her music begin to play, indicating that it was time for her to head on out. Tugging her leotard into place once more, she gave a deep breath before she made her way to the door. Win or lose, Amber was looking forward to finally getting back out there and showing the fans what she was made of.

Amber's music began to play as the green white and orange smoke began to rise, typical to Amber's entrances many times before. She would quickly burst through the smoke, holding her arms out wide as if welcoming in the crowd, Amber let out a loud scream that was mimicked by the crowd, a shiver running down her spine as the crowd screamed their approval for her. She was terrified and excited at the same time as she began walking down the ramp, giving out high fives to outstretched hands before she jumped up onto the apron. She hung on it for a moment and swung from side to side, pointing at the crowd before she swung a leg over the middle rope and ducked under the top rope as she entered the ring. Walking around with one fist raised while she pointed out at everyone, trying to get the crowd hyped for the match. However, the fans wouldn't be able to see her legs trembling slightly from the fear of being back. As much as she loved this, she hated all these eyes being on her at the same time. Moving quickly to her corner, Amber's focus shifted towards the ramp, awaiting the arrival of her opponent. Her hands started shaking a little and she reached up to take a hold of her left elbow, trying to steady her nerves as she waited for their arrival, "Calm down, just calm down Amber, pull it together..." she whispered softly to herself before taking a few deep breaths. Jumping a bit, the ref girl startled her, but Amber acquiesced to her search, allowing the ref to check her for any contraband now that her entrance was over.

Renee was still fuming after the result of her ladder match at We Are LAW 7. She deserved to be the next challenger for the Lightweight Championship. However, there was a time and a place for everything and thinking about the result now wasn’t necessary. Executives gave Renee a returning superstar as her next opponent and Renee knew she was gonna beat the shit out of her. So off she went towards the show curtain, waiting for the signal to come out to the ring.

Announcer: And her opponent. From St. Paul, Minnesota. Weighing in at 120 pounds. The renegade herself. Renee, “Renegade”! STEINHAUSER!

Renee came out to the arena once the beat drop. She then acted like her cocky self, shimmying her shoulders before taking in the hostile fans booing her. She then did some punches as she walked down the ramp. Renee also taunted the fans by doing a jerking off motion to some of them as well as crotch chops towards others. She then spotted one of the LAW cameramen and grabbed their lens before yelling at the fans watching at home to get ready to see some renegade action. She then pushed them down before climbing up the steel steps. There, she went through the ropes and looked at Amber, who Renee was assuming to be scared shitless in her boots just looking at her.

“You ain’t ready for me kid. I’m having a bad month so I guess you’ll be my punching bag. Maybe you should quit the fight while you’re ahead. This ain’t no playground for children like you.”

Amber’s eyes remained locked on the ramp as she heard her opponent’s music, more curious as to who she’d be fighting more than anything. Watching this woman making her way down the ramp, she gave a little grimace, especially at the motions she was performing to taunt the crowd. Her eyes remained locked on her the entire time she made her way into the ring, waiting for the match to start. However, the woman decided to address Amber directly, causing her to tilt her head curiously as the little Irish sweetheart blinked a couple times before responding rather simply to Renee, “No…?”

“Bad answer, kid. I’m gonna make sure you aren’t able to even show your face in another match again after I’m done with you.”

The bell would ring and Renee immediately started to circle the ring with Amber. She wouldn’t allow her to get close, intimidating her to stay back or else her opponent would get a punch in the face. It stopped after a few seconds as she then stood in the middle of the ring, holding out her hand for a test of strength. She then taunted Amber into accepting her challenge.

“Alright potato. Let’s see if you got that Irish strength in ya. Or are you just talking gobshite about you having a chance of beating me.”

Now if Amber were to accept this test of strength, she would be caught in a trap. This is because when Renee was gonna begin to lift up her hand to start the test of strength, she would use her dominant hand to slap the shit out of Amber.

Tilting her head curiously, Amber watched her opponent very carefully, though she didn't show any signs of acknowledging or even caring about her opponent's trash talking. Waiting for the bell to ring, Amber would shake herself out, limbering up right up until the bell rang. Moving out a bit quickly from her corner, she circled around the ring, making sure to keep her distance right up until she held up her hands. This absolutely caught Amber's attention as she tilted her head curiously before she moved in to lock up with Renee. She was always happy to test her strength with any opponent she stepped in the ring with and that wasn't about to change here. However, Amber wasn't prepared for her opponent to come out of no where and slap her right across the face, causing her to stagger to the side a bit as her eyes widened in shock. A bit stunned, she fell to a knee for just a moment before staggering back to her feet, her face turning a bit red in the area that was slapped.

Renee scoffed when her plan on tricking her opponent right out of the gate worked. She then smiled as she taunted her opponent some more.

“That knocked the z’s floating around your head? Bet you really didn’t expect me to slap the shit out of you, huh. Get the fuck up and wrestle me. Unless you’re gonna sit there and let me drag you through this bush backwards. Probably explains your ugly face anyways.”

Amber was still reeling from the slap, her eyes staring off into space as the sting in her cheek slowly began to subside. Gathering her bearings, her eyes shifted to Renee, staring her down with murderous intent. She didn't say anything as she slowly began to get to her feet, tilting her head curiously and cracking her neck, the ligaments popping with each tilt from side to side, "Okay...my turn." she would simply say before springing forward, aiming to take Renee down with a vicious clothesline. Should she connect, she would back away from her, sitting down on the middle rope before placing her hands to steady herself on the top rope, bouncing a bit as she kicked her legs out one at a time, watching her opponent intently to see what she might do next.

Renee would be ready for any retaliation from Amber as she watched her get all serious faced and go for a simple clothesline. However, Renee would duck under the clothesline before quickly turning around delivering a clothesline of her own. Once she done that, Renee would get down on one knee onto the back of Amber. She then grabbed her by the chin and if she were successful, she would stretch the neck and head of Amber for a quick submission hold.
