The cameras fade in on a full house in the arena. The stadium was packed to the brim with roaring fans all over the seats from the nosebleeds to the front row! They cheer for and chant the moniker of a masked woman inside the squared circle. No opponent. No match. No fanfare. Just one smiling Super Kitty who hinted to the fans earlier tonight that she had a small announcement to make.
"LAW Universe! My people! How are y'all doing tonight?!" Kat spoke into her mic and looked around the arena. She paused for a moment to let the crowd express themselves. Many in attendance just seemed happy to see The Super Kitty!
"I wanted to thank everyone for all the excitement and the buzz. I wanna thank management for giving me this time. I wanna thank you guys in the stands and you guys watching at home for tuning in, even though I didn't really give everyone much to go off of." The luchadora scratched the back of her masked head and laughed her thought off before finding her composure. Kat would grip her microphone with both hands and ready herself. She often liked to lighten the mood with the odd quip or joke, but the moment to come would prove to be one of the more warm-hearted, mushy moments of her career.
"Earlier tonight, in an interview, I asked the fans to turn out and tune in and I'm happy you all did! Normally, I'd be showing up to the ring to do what I do best- to wrestle and put on a match that captivates the fans and gets the attention of the girls that go in and out of that locker room in the back."
"But tonight, I'm gonna try to be just as good at something else. I'm gonna try to do something for thousands- well, really millions of people out there that care about this great sport of ours. I'm gonna try to make a difference in one of the few ways I know how." Hart nodded before pointing at the giant monitors above the entrance ramp. On it, images would fade in and out while Kat explained herself. The crowd followed along as the brawny blonde talked her way through a project she had been working on between her matches. Images of Kat shaking hands with LAW officials and staff workers, her appearing at gyms instructing prospective students, and so forth.
"You guys might know that, on top of the sponsorships for this product and that product or whatever, LAW also does charity work. Work that I try to involve myself in where I can. A little while back, I cleared 100 wishes granted with the Make-A-Wish foundation. I try to pitch in with other things, too." She trailed off.
"But somewhere between the autograph signings, and helping the ring crew set up and clean up, giving lessons in the gym to Young Lionesses and newer wrestlers, and all this other stuff, I started to get some big ideas."
"What you're seeing on screen there. That's me trying to start my own foundation, my own cause. The Hart Foundation."
"It's exactly what you'd expect from The Super Kitty you guys have come to know and love. If there's one thing I love as much as sending the fans home happy, it's wrestling. And after knocking on enough doors at LAW HQ and sending Dan DeFranco wayyyyy more emails than I probably should have, I finally cleared the hurdles I needed to in order to get my own passion project going. Hart smiled and nodded to various fans in the crowd before directing her attention to the screen again. More short clips and images played to help show what this passion project of hers was all about.
The Hart Foundation is a project that will create pro wrestling gyms, schools, and hotspots in many places all over the States and beyond. And these facilities will help local communities with food drives, donations to places like libraries and local schools, and so much more. And to prove that it's something I believe in, not only will a portion of my LAW salary be donated to helping it get off the ground, but a portion of all the proceeds from Super Kitty mech going forward will be donated to the Hart Foundation so that people everywhere can come together in safe spaces to learn about the culture, history, and practices of the wrestling that you fans- you good people, enjoy seeing from us athletes each and every week."
"It means a lot to me not just because I love wrestling, but because I want to pave the way for other people to leave their mark on this industry. I want the next generation to have an easier time than I did. Kat stepped to the ropes to lean over them and speak on her own experiences. Her tone was somehow more genuine as she shared some of the tougher parts of her own journey into the world of wrestling and how she wanted to make that journey easier on others.
See, one thing that separates me from a lot of the biggest names in this company, your Kyoko's, your Alizeh's, your GASTER's, your Ostberg's- one thing that separates me from them is...well, I didn't have a mom or a dad or a sister or a cousin that was already a big deal in wrestling. I didn't have a foothold in this sport. I had a two-hour bus ride to the other side of town so that I could get some practice in after school or after my day job. I had to clean rings and locker rooms and hallways when I couldn't afford to pay for training. I had to drive out for hours to make shows one or two towns over so I could wrestle for enough money to cover gas for the drive back home. I know this sounds like a sob story, but it's not. Stay with me for a sec. Hart extended her gloved palm to the crowd to motion for them to bear with her for the point she was arriving at.
Before I became The Super Kitty, I was just a kid who was trying to get good enough. I was just a girl trying to get myself in front of the right people, trying to train with the right athletes to learn how to become a success. And what I want to do with The Hart Foundation is to make that journey easier for other people that were just like me. I've said it often throughout my career that I was just like any of you out there in the crowd or any of you watching at home. And if The Hart Foundation makes it easier for anyone out there to become a wrestler or a referee- if it helps make a wrestling fan out of even one person who wouldn't have come to learn about it otherwise...then that's a big win in my book. And hopefully, it's a win in all of yours as well" Kat finally put her mic down. Her shoulders slacked a bit as if she had been waiting to get this news out there for some time. By the time she got less tense, the crowd was already all cheers and smiles.
The Super Kitty had done a good thing for fans and wrestling enthusiasts everywhere. At least, she hoped she did. And the fans rejoiced with approval for her efforts and for the good The Hart Foundation would hopefully do for many years to come!

Thunk. Thunk. Thunk-.
Lights, the big ones, all shut off one by one. The monitors branded a fat Chrome Skull branded right in the middle of the shot, loading, hissing out purple smoke and laughed in a deep, mocking way, saying, “Oh noo! The broadcast is now ours!” Said the voice of Dot, programmed with the skull graphic.
The rest of the lights powered down and left the crowd in a state of slight panic. The Titantron remained on, sparked out its bottom, glitching glitch like a broken Television, buzzing with failure and dead static. Then, purple lights returned around the arena. The same colour as the virus who now spoke throughout the stadium in deep autotune. “-Wrestling- doesn't have a safe place with me around.” She paused, then started again, “Hello Kat. Must feel good returning with a new lie. The pure-hearted underdog finally makes it, then creates a non-profit for pure, selfless reasons to push change. The Nepo Foundation: Tax-exempt, well-paid and with infinite PR perks, screwin' over the rats of tomorrow because we dumbed down the skill level even further than what it -already- is.”
Another pause, then she continued.
“Makes you wonder if she’s doing this to cover up her time away. All that underdogging and scraping by is now catching up with you, slowing the Super Kitty down into a boring… grey… soon-to-be punch-meat. Retirement plans. What do we think about that Dot?”
"...I think I need a summary after that soliloquoy! Me oh my but our MMMMMASCOT OF MERCH just loooooves the melifluous melody of her voice. HmmMMMMmmmm hm. Hm. Let me just pour that into our summarize function of ye olde GPT-Hart here—"
The lights flashed, as if a power-surge had gripped the grid, and Dot's warbling electronic voice gave way to first static, then pop! And then a familiar voice:
"...LLLLLAW Universe! My people! How are y'all doing tonight?! Thank you all for coming so I can remind you that I, Katherine Ssssssupercat Hart, am better than you! I'm better than everyone, ESPEEEEEECIALLY Kyoko, Alizeh, Gaster, and Ostberg! Why? Because unlike those NEPO BABIES I used to be one of the poors."
"And THAT'S why, now that I'm rich, I'm naming a foundation after me DEDICATED...drrrrrrum roll please...to finding ME—Er—WRESTLING some new fans. And Maybe—just maybe!—I'll even deign to train some of these otherwise hopeless nobodies so they can lick my boots in gratitude!"
Booooo! Hiss. The crowd jeered as the Frankenstein voice, all Dot yet 100% Kat, bounced and sang through the speakers, until it hit another wall of static, and another POP, and Dot's voice came right back.
"...Mmmmmmmmmrrrr, the best charity for THIS foundation would be to toss it and her out with her litter, because you KNOW they're gonna call any trainees she hocks out—"
Dot and Spectre rappelled from the dark of the arena, landing together on opposite turnbuckle pads, perching with a squat and hands between their legs to touch the top-turnbuckle. They finished their sentence . “Dead meat.”

Re: Wrestle For a Cause
A feel-good moment at LAW was hardly something that much of the roster could resist the urge to interrupt. Kat knew that all too well. It's happened to her a number of times throughout her storied career, but this....?! This was unprecedented!
The luchadora's head was on a swivel as she stood there in the ring, her gaze snapping to each light that went out one after another in quick succession! The commentators covering these events speculated about technical difficulties and power failures. But the imagery that came up on the monitors, including the big screen above the ring and the entrance ramp sowed feelings of concern and worry all over the arena! The Super Kitty leaned over the ropes of the ring and urged the fans to keep calm. But Dot's voice pierced the atmosphere, only adding more uneasiness and tension! Whatever it was that was happening right now, it was no accident! When the purple lights beamed down, Kat made her way back to the center of the ring. The SWAT Cats doubled up her fists! Her eyes darted all over the arena as she tried to hone in on the source of the sabotage! And the source of the warped, distorted voice that reached every corner of the stadium!
Did someone hijack the production truck? Rig the rafters? If they were capable of this much, what else did they rig? Is anyone in danger here? Could I protect a fan or a member of LAW staff if this - whoever this is, this interloper were to target them?
All these thoughts and more raced through the masked blonde's mind as she stood there, battle-ready in the middle of the ring, purple lighting and all!
"Hey, don't be shy! If it's me you want then come down to ring. I promise I respond to slander better in person!" Hart called out during the second pause. But the dastardly duo continued!
Dot's preparations for an AI-generated summary induced a power surge and lighting effects that were disorienting, to say the least! The flashing lights and the warbling voice caused just as much panic as the initial light show.
"Oh, no. Chat GPT? Really?" Hart raised an eyebrow in annoyance. The summary that followed was anything but flattering. And the fans agreed! Amidst the torrent of boos from the crowd filling the arena, there was a single exasperated sigh and comment from the masked blonde.
"Ugh, I don't...I don't sound anything like that, do I....? ACK!" But her irritation was cut off by a static and a loud POP! Hart covered her ears for a second before perking up to catch the rest of the spiel.
Finally, the pair of saboteurs made their way down to the ring, rappelling down from seemingly out of nowhere! The purple lighting made them look all the more menacing as they took their perches on opposite corners of the ring! Both were dressed like supervillains! A wily, hammer-wielding gal with a black and pink color scheme and a helmet with what seemed to be an LCD display and a redheaded prototypical femme fatale, complete with a cape and all!
Kat looked to Dot and then to Spectre as the two finished their dramatic entrance.
"I'd appreciate it if people didn't plan to bully Hart Foundation folks before the whole thing even gets off the ground." Kat began, her gaze still alternating between both women. The atmosphere was still tense. There was still hysteria amidst the crowd! The commentators remarked on how it seemed that things could break down here at any moment!
"So to who exactly do I owe the pleasure of setting up this little ambush? Not to mention all The Super Kitty slander and the plot to stamp out a charitable cause?" Hart took a stance again, doubling up her fists and preparing herself for an assault from either side!
"Come on, introduce yourselves! And come a little closer while you're at it! You guys have the ambiance and the cool entrance covered, but I wanna see if the evil plan you two hatched together covered the part where you actually have to back up all that mess you're talking!" Kat raised her voice. She readied herself to throw hands! And as she goaded both ladies, the crowd's panic began to transition to cheers of support for The Super Kitty standing up to the two villainous vixens that seemed to conspire the hijack this promo and Kat's own Hart Foundation for their own nefarious purposes!
