Things were already looking pretty rough for the Sunset Sharks. The scoop slam might've been a basic move - probably the first thing any wrestler learns in training - but when a man like Luke delivered it, it became a whole different story. The impact left Finn sprawled on the mat, a grimace of pain taking over his features as he clutched his lower back.
Luke, for his part, didn't miss a beat, fully aware of the damage he'd caused as he planted a boot on the blonde's body, striking a pose like he was back on a bodybuilding stage, flexing his monstrous arms for the packed arena! The crowd erupted, and even some of the fans who had been cheering for the Sharks couldn't resist pulling out their phones. The stands lit up with flashes as everyone scrambled to capture the moment, immortalizing Luke's display of dominance.
"Oi! Get that filthy boot off my brother, mate!" Klaus yelled from the corner, pointing an accusing finger at the former bodybuilder. His voice was lost in the roar of the crowd, though. Luke didn't even bother looking his way, he doubted he even heard him either anyway, as he casually stepped off his brother, moving around behind the surfer, ready for his next move as he reached down and grabbed one of Finn's legs.
"Nope! No, no, no!" The blonde blurted out the second he felt his opponent's hand latch onto his leg. He didn't know what was coming, but he knew it wasn't going to be good. Before he could even attempt to pull free or scramble away, Luke was already locking him up. The bodybuilder twisted his own leg over Finn's and dropped his ginormous frame down, trapping him with all 230 pounds of his.
Eyes widened in panic as an arm snaked around his throat, Luke's thick bicep bulging as he yanked back, lifting Finn's chest off the mat in the process and locking him into a perfect STF! He instantly let out a scream of pain, his face contorting as the pressure on his spine grew unbearable. One hand clawed desperately at the arm wrapped around his neck, while the other stretched out, fingers reaching hopelessly for the ropes - or for anything that could save him, all the while the cameras broadcasted his agony across the arena as Luke flawlessly applied the first submission hold of the match, leaving the younger Shark in a world of trouble!

Re: Sunset Sharks vs Luke Cranston.
The scoop slam might have been a simple move on its own, but Luke was here to show off. He wanted the world to see what he was capable of - and he was certainly delivering! He wasn't the least bit worried about what the Sharks were capable of doing in return - nothing they could've possibly come up with was going to measure up to the sheer power he was dishing out at every moment. And best of all, the crowd was eating it all up - his domination was a spectacle as much as it was a strategy!
But Luke was perfectly capable of pulling off some more advanced moves, too. And if anything, that would just hit his opponents even harder - when he stepped over Finn's back, twisting his leg into place around his own before wrenching back on his neck, every ounce of weight he had at his disposal was being used to contort the Australian's spine! A few of the Sharks' supporters gasped and screamed at the sight - they were already able to imagine how much that would have hurt, even before Finn had a chance to respond. But from the way Finn cried out in pain, he wasn't enjoying this any more than they were!
Finn clawed desperately at the canvas, trying to pull his way closer to the ropes. That was his only hope at salvation - after all, how was he supposed to break Luke's ironclad grip on him by force, when he was so easily outweighed and overpowered? Little by little, he did manage to pull the two men across the ring. But Luke wasn't even deterred. Looking over his shoulder at what his opponent was doing, he just leaned back and flexed his bicep harder, looking to further compress Finn's head and spine! Even if Finn was going to get to the ropes eventually, Luke could do as much damage as he could in the meantime!

Re: Sunset Sharks vs Luke Cranston.
"Fuckin'… hell…!" Finn rasped, his words strained between gasps of air, each inch towards the ropes agonizing while the massive bodybuilder on top of him was choking him out and twisting his spine at the same time. The surfer's back was screaming in pain, bending unnaturally under Luke's weight, while that thick bicep pressing against his throat made breathing almost impossible. His cheeks flushed red as the lack of air set in, the desperate struggle clear in every painful groan that escaped his lips.
"C'mon, Finn… c'mon!" Klaus muttered under his breath from the corner, his knuckles white from gripping the ropes too tightly. His heart pounded as he watched his brother inch closer to safety despite the punishment he was enduring. The audience was divided - some of the Sharks' fans were chanting Finn's name, urging him on, while Luke's supporters were going wild, loving the sight of the bodybuilder dominating the smaller wrestler.
The blonde, for his part, tried to block it all out, focusing on each small push, getting closer to the ropes bit by bit. But just as hope sparked, his opponent suddenly leaned back even harder, torquing the hold even tighter! Finn's eyes shot open wide, another sharp scream tearing from his throat as he felt a horrifying crack in his spine. His hand, which had been reaching for the ropes, fell limp as his body squirmed weakly beneath the mountain of muscle pinning him down.
Klaus winced and his mind raced - If he didn't act now, their debut match - and probably his brother's spine - would be finished. Without a second thought, he stepped through the ropes, ignoring the referee's shouts to get back. His focus was solely focused on saving Finn at that moment. In a split-second decision, Klaus charged forward, raising his elbow high and driving it down with all his strength into Luke's back with an elbow drop.
The crowd gasped, some cheering, others booing, as Klaus rolled out of the ring immediately after delivering the blow, evading the referee's wrath. He hoped it would be enough to loosen Luke's grip, or at least give Finn the window he needed to crawl free or finally reach the ropes before the damage became permanent.

Re: Sunset Sharks vs Luke Cranston.
Finn wasn't stupid. He saw that he was being placed in a brutal hold by a man who easily dwarfed him in size, and the first thing on his mind was to get away and try to get a break. With it still being early in the match, Luke was sure he stood a decent chance at doing so, no matter how mismatched things seemed in the American's favor. But if that was the case, he would just make sure he had as hard of a time as possible in getting away! His teeth gritting in focus, he clenched his muscles even tighter, his biceps digging into the sides of Finn's throat. And, as he leaned back further, pulling at him even harder, that was when he suddenly felt something give way as a loud crack split the air.
At that, Luke froze. He knew he was strong, for sure, but he hadn't expected to actually cripple anyone here. For a moment, he was silent, looking down at his opponent and half-expecting him to fall motionless no matter how much he hoped otherwise. But that moment of hesitation would cost him - it was then that Klaus got into the ring, running behind Luke to execute an elbow drop against his spine!
That blow too fell with a crack, and Luke tensed up from the pain that stabbed through him. Crying out, he let go of Finn, his grip already having eased from the shock, and brought his hand back to rub at his spine. In the process, though, he was forced to abandon his grip on his opponent, leaving himself open!

Re: Sunset Sharks vs Luke Cranston.
Finn’s head dropped limply to the mat as Luke finally released the STF, forced to let go after Klaus' desperate elbow drop to his back. While his intentions were good - he was just trying to save his younger brother - the crowd wasn't so forgiving. A wave of boos rolled through the arena, clearly disapproving of the interference as he made his way back to their corner. After all, if the roles were reversed, Luke wouldn't have anyone rushing to his aid.
Klaus ignored the jeers, keeping his focus on what mattered: his plan worked. Luke had released the hold and was now clutching at his back, temporarily vulnerable. It left an opening. An opening Finn could take advantage of. If he could.
But there was a problem... Finn wasn't moving.
Instead, he lay sprawled on the mat next to the bodybuilder, his body limp from the punishment he'd endured. Klaus' heart sank. This was far from good. "Get up, Finn!" he shouted, his voice cutting through the noise of the crowd as he gripped the ropes tightly. "Get over here and tag me in!"
The sound of his brother's voice seemed to snap Finn back to life. Slowly, he blinked his eyes, shaking his head to clear the cobwebs clouding his vision. Every movement was a bit sluggish and strained, pain radiating through his spine, but he grit his teeth and started to push himself up onto all fours.
He didn't once glance at Luke. He didn't care at all where the bodybuilder was at that moment. All that mattered was getting to his brother. Crawling toward Klaus, the blonde's movements were labored, each inch forward a battle, but he pressed on, hoping desperately that their opponent wouldn't notice him before he could make the tag.

Re: Sunset Sharks vs Luke Cranston.
Finn already seemed to be on the breaking point as Luke worked his impressive strength against him, bending his back as far as it could go. Were it not for his brother, he may well have had no choice but to tap out then and there. Luckily for him, though, Klaus was there to make the save - and as Luke felt the stinging pain of his elbow smacking into his back, he had no choice but to let go, rolling over onto his side as he tried to tend to the pain he now felt in his muscles.
However, all things considered...it was going to take more than just a single elbow to stop Luke. He was made of tougher things than that! It was no secret that he easily dwarfed both of his opponents in size. But that also meant he could take a lot more punishment. An STF from Luke had practically broken Finn's spine, but an elbow from Klaus had only slowed him down. A moment later, he rose back to his hands and knees, watching as Klaus called to his partner - his partner, who was barely responding.
He looked on with an eyebrow raised curiously. But the clock was ticking, and still Finn didn't move. Slowly but surely, Luke got back up to his feet. At the sight of that, the crowd gasped. It seemed like this match was already over! Now he was back on the move, and yet Finn had barely responded! If Luke wanted to go in for the kill here and now, nothing was going to stop him!
Except...he didn't do that. Even after he had shaken himself out and dusted himself off, all Luke did was to raise a hand to Klaus. "Go ahead, I'll let him tag you!" he said. "I can give you this one. After all, I can handle you both, whether you have the help or not! I think I can afford to make things more interesting!" He flexed his bicep to punctuate that, and the crowd cheered. Luke's confidence that he could win this match hadn't been dampened at all - and he was eager as ever to prove it! He'd let this match go on as long as it needed; as far as he was concerned, that was just more screen time for him!

Re: Sunset Sharks vs Luke Cranston.
"Hurry, Finn, hurry!" Klaus shouted, his voice urgent as his eyes darted to the towering figure of Luke already rising back to his feet. Finn was still inching his way toward the corner, crawling through pain, his body visibly struggling after the punishment he'd taken. The match had barely started, and yet the bodybuilder had already done serious damage to the blonde - he was sure could recover, though - if he tagged out and had some time to rest, but they'd definitely underestimated just how tough this fight was going to be. Outnumbered or not, Luke was proving to be far more dangerous than they'd expected.
Practically draped over the top rope in his corner, Klaus stretched his arm out as far as it would go, fingers twitching anxiously as Finn inched closer. Time was running out. Luke was already back to his full height, and while the earlier elbow drop had been enough to momentarily stop him, it clearly hadn't done any real damage. To his relief, the bodybuilder's focus shifted to him instead of Finn as he seemed to allow the blonde to crawl away. What really set Klaus off, though, were the words that left Luke’s mouth a moment later and it instantly lit a fire in his chest. If he thought they were just here to get tossed around, Klaus would be more than happy to prove him wrong!
"I'll wipe that smug grin right off your face, mate! Just wait 'til I’m in there with you!" Klaus attempted to taunt back, his words barely cutting through the thunder of the crowd as Luke flexed one of those ridiculous arms and drew even louder cheers from his supporters!
Seconds felt like hours, but finally, finally, Finn reached the corner, slapping his brother's hand hard enough to sting. "Get... him, bro," The blonde breathed, rolling under the ropes and flopping onto the floor outside to recover.
Klaus didn't waste a second. Gripping the top rope, he yanked himself into the ring with a quick leap, his bare feet landing hard on the canvas. There was no hesitation as he lunged forward, closing the distance between himself and Luke in an instant. He didn't have a full plan - there was no time for that. All that mattered was making an impact. His blood was pumping, he was ready to figure it out on the fly and prove the Sunset Sharks weren't just here to be dominated by some troglodyte!
