The time had finally came after a few weeks in the making and giving the wrestlers some time to get their bearings as well as train hard in a short amount of time. The charity event is set to take place and LAW had announced a four-night event filled with exciting punching match ups which drove a lot of excitement for the event. Being a boxing event and a largely non-canon event to many LAW storylines, nothing here would count towards wrestling records or momentum for the superstars. They were fighting for charity and that’s about it. The audience were encouraged before the show to donate to the fund set up by LAW management throughout each night as the proceeds would go to wildlife habitation efforts for zoos in Japan. Katherine Hart said it herself: LAW also did lots of charity work and it didn’t have to be exclusive to wrestling.

That being said, lots of online discourse speculated about how each night would go. Those with previous boxing training and even with experience in MMA would fit this event like gloves and those with good striking capabilities wouldn’t be too far behind. There were wrestlers here, however, that barely did boxing so there were rumors about certain competitors sticking out like sore thumbs. That didn’t stop LAW from producing assigned teams for certain fighters as they were hard pressed to drill as much knowledge into their clients as soon as possible in order to be ready. The fighters for the cards trained hard in the gym day and night to prepare and nobody was expecting professional abilities from the onset. They weren’t taking on another career in combat sports, just fighting for a singular event.

The crowd settled in their seats as metal guardrails were used to separate audience from the fights. A singular wooden announce table would also be ringside for the commentators to call the action for those watching at home or on social media. The fighters would be coming from the stage at the very end of the arena and down some metal steps towards the ring accompanied by their team and main coach. The judges were ready out of sight as they were surrounded by monitors broadcasting the fights and the ring girls were ringside as well as Nico Cardona, Saya Matou, Hana Song, and Hana Kasagawa were all ready in skimpy bikinis with their round cards set against the guardrails.

The crowd came alive as the main show theme started and Misa Otomura started walking her way out waving to the crowd. The familiar LAW ring announcer got a nice ovation as she did a respectful bow before heading down the steps towards the ring. It was definitely time to start the night off strong and she slapped some hands for fives before heading towards the boxing ring while occasionally smiling at the crowd blowing kisses just like she did in her idol days. Misa got to the ring and headed up the attached steps heading in-between the ropes and walking on the show logo etched in the middle of the ring. Misa asked for a microphone as a ring attendant handed it to her as she waved some more to the crowd before the music died and she was set to speak.

Hello LAW! It’s so wonderful to be out here tonight and able to help call the action of the wonderful fighters that are able to make this night and the others very possible. It goes without saying that LAW will always be one of the premier wrestling promotions in all of Japan, but that doesn’t mean we are afraid to dip our toes in much more heftier occasions. We are most known for the glitz and glamour, the skills and athleticism, and the trash talk and storytelling between our wrestlers, but boxing is going to be an outlet. An outlet to just have fun. To fight for a common cause and we have gathered the best fighters to duke it out over the next four nights. Now, the match cards were posted online ahead of time, but we do have some people that might appear to pose a little open challenge. Maybe there will be other fun surprises. That will all come later on once we start really rolling, but….Mr. DeFranco is all about building up the hype. That’s why….he has sanctioned for a warm-up bout to help build the energy. There will be a warm-up bout for each show and it’s going to help build the expectations for the shows. So, are we ready to get the night started? It’s time to show your full support and give us your enthusiasm. These fighters deserve it!” Misa announced as she hyped up the crowd as the crowd around started showing their signs and building up their cheering and hollering.
