Niko shook her head at Yukari. "No, you know how guys like this can be, he'll complain and it'll eventually cost you, trust me." Niko said in a hushed whisper to Yukari before they started, definitely not wanting the director to hear, even if she wanted to deck him right now. But it seemed that Yukari was convinced enough as Niko would find herself being pulled into the full version of Yukari's move and sure enough it hurt like hell.

"Ngahhhhhh!" Niko cried out in pain pain, her boobs bouncing both from the force of the move as well as her scream. Jerking and twisting lightly in natural reactions she would shake her head and let out several quick breaths. "I got this! NGH! Keep going... as long as... you need Yukagh!ri!" Niko managed to get out in between groans and whines of pain, not trying to power through any of it and letting the pain pass through her expressions freely, knowing this was what the director wanted, trying to hold out until he gave the ok to drop the move.

Considering that neither Yukari nor Niko had ever heard of their photoshoot director before, and Yukari herself was a famous actress, she thought that her modeling partner may have had a backwards perception of who could use their clout to affect who's career. But if Niko wanted to take the Final Feather Arrow for the photoshoot, then Yukari would give her exactly that.

Niko was undoubted an amazing model, extremely talented with making fake pain look real. But the screams made it obvious as to how much legitimate pain that the pinkette was in. She hadn't needed to scream before for a picture with no audio, but with her back getting bent like a drawn bow, the agonized sounds poured from Niko's mouth regardless of whether or not they mattered.

"Alright," the director finally called. Yukari had Niko back down in a moment, but the director was getting out of there even quicker. "Well, great work. We'll probably have this printed in a couple weeks," he said. His voice trailing from the hallway by the end of his sentence. Normally, Yukari would've chased after and started yelling at him. But the actress was caught by such surprise at the utter shamelessness with which the director bolted from the room that as the two models sat together on the picture mark, all Yukari could do was stare dumbfounded at the empty doorway, "Wha- are you kidding me?!"

Niko endured Yukari's submission hold to the best of her ability, which was considerable but even she had her limits and she was nearing them until the director spoke up, prompting Yukari to immediately let Niko down who immediately breathed a sigh of relief. "Hagh... ok.. Hagh.. just give me a sec..." Before Niko could finish, panting in pain all the while she would notice the director and even some of the crew starting to leave... Just that.

"Ond...." Niko finished in stunned disbelief, looking at the door the director left out of in stunned silence. He just left, after using her like a ryona doll.. with not even a care after having her endure a legitimately painful hold. Pushing herself up to her feet she didn't react with indignant shock like Yukari.

Instead Niko kept her head down, subtly shaking as she began to slowly and gingerly make her way towards where her robe was, remaining uncharacteristically silent as she did so. Not sparing a glance or word of thanks to any of the crew or even Yukari herself in the process.

Yukari wondered how people could be so callous towards somebody who had gone as far above and beyond with her professionalism as Niko had. A couple crew members seemed to have a concerned look on their faces, as if they were contemplating saying something, but they just turned their heads and left like everybody else had.

Everybody else, expect Yukari, that was. She saw Niko, and the only question about how she felt was whether she was on the precipice of exploding in fury at her mistreatment or breaking down sobbing from her humiliation. Understanding that she might be setting herself up to be on the receiving end of whichever of those two happen, Yukari approached.

"I'm so sorry for what happened to you, Niko," Yukari said as she also began to grab her things. "I can tell you're in pain. Emotionally, if not physically." Yukari took a look around the room before continuing, "If you want to let it out, I want to be here for you as a friend. Anything you're feeling about this is okay to feel."

Niko was... indescribably angry and humiliated right now. Perhaps more than she had ever been in her career at LAW to this point. Now she knew she was known for jobbing but she had literally been making headlines for her recent turn around and showing of skill! It was known that she had vastly improved in all facets of her career and she thought that it was known... but maybe not. Definitely not after today's shoot that made her look incredibly weak and embarrassing. Sure it was all staged but people didn't know that, it would have an untold impact on her public image and and she just couldn't put into words how it made her feel, even in her own mind!

So when Yukari reached out to grab her while speaking Niko only barely registered the words but instinctively pulled back her hand while turning to look at the woman with tears just barely being kept from coming out. Fists clenched and having barely enough wherewithal to look around and make sure that the last of the crew had left Niko decided to let it out. "That sucked! That really fucking sucked! I've tried so hard, learned so much, and stupid, mean, JERKS like that still only see me as a jobber and are going to make other people see me as one! Especially when put against someone like you!" Niko all but screamed out, even turning and kicking a chair over in her frustration, not quite even fully realizing what she was saying.

Fury it was, as Yukari stood there and took the unleashed force of Niko's rage at her mistreatment. "Wait, what did she mean by- no, that's not what I need to be focusing on," she thought as her mind caught something Niko said for a moment before letting it go. Yukari took a couple steps forward, but made sure to leave Niko some space.

"For whatever it's worth to you, I don't see you as a jobber, Niko," said Yukari. "A real jobber couldn't take my strongest finisher that well, after all." The actress would take a couple more steps, now trying again to place a comforting hand on Niko's shoulder. "I wish it was as easy as just saying that you shouldn't care about what random people you don't care about think of you, but I can't. How people perceive you actively impacts your career. It's unfortunate, but it's true."

"So here's what you can do," Yukari said as she positioned herself to look Niko in the eyes. "You can throw it in everybody's face that you aren't a jobber until they don't have a choice but to accept it. And if you're worried that this shoot is going to make people think you're weaker than me, well then prove them wrong! Niko Tomiji, I challenge you to a match!" Yukari put a hand on her hip and pointed at the pinkette. "Let's make those photos obsolete by giving them the real deal! Of course I'm not going to let you beat me. If you want to convince the world that you're strong, then you better be ready to back up what you're saying."

Niko was still pretty upset and mad but being able to just vent out everything all at once had helped at least enough to hear out Yukari who began to speak to her once again. Focusing on the woman and nodding slightly to show she understood what she was saying Niko couldn't help but look down even in spite of the praise that the woman gave her.

It was nice but just as Yukari said there was nothing she could do about people like that director, who only saw her as a jobber who could be demeaned as they liked. What got her to look up however was what the woman said next about throwing it back in people's face. "Wha?" Niko asked in surprise before her eyes widened further as Yukari made her intention all to clear, a match.

Between them! Gasping slightly Niko was speechless for a moment before breaking out into a smile. "Yes I accept!" Niko said excitedly before leaping forward and hugging Yukari tightly. "Thank you! thank you! thank you! Yukari you're the best!" Niko cried out joyfully before pulling back and wiping some of the angry tears that had turned into relief before giving a bit more of a competitive look at her fellow model.

"But don't worry. I wouldn't expect you to let me win, and that would just defeat the point anyways, so I'll be coming at you with everything I've got!" Niko said confidently while pumping her fist to show she would be ready for their match!

The righteous fury of a grown adult was generally harder to sway than a child who was upset over something most likely trivial, but Yukari still managed to find the perfect words to say to Niko in order to raise her spirits as high as they had been down before, despite the pinkette being a good bit older than the actress's usual demographic.

"Oh! And how about this too, since you're in," said Yukari. "This whole mess was caused by a photoshoot, so how about we make a photoshoot out of our match? We'll have a wager stipulation; the winner gets to put the loser in whatever victory pose that they want. And then, you know the Ladies of LAW Calendar, right? Well after the match, we'll take that photo, and have them put it in the calendar for one of the months! How's that sound?"

After Niko either accepted or denied Yukari's offer of a wager, the brunette would put her casual clothes back on and grab her things. "Well, plans for the future are still just that; for the future," Yukari said. "How about we do something fun right now? My favorite place in town for sweets isn't too far from here, wanna come with me? My treat. I promise you, the strawberry daifuku there will send you to another planet."

Niko was admittedly still feeling off and upset about how the entire photo shoot ended. Made even worse by how dickish that damn director was, however she was at least glad for Yukari being here. Not only was she able to help her throughout this whole ordeal but she was also able to perfectly help her vent and reconcile those misfeelings while also even offering her a way to turn things around. Even going so far as to offer a wager.

"Oooh that sounds awesome! If you think the LAW magazine will go for it I'm absolutely down to do it!" Niko said excitedly with a pump of her fists before going to grab her civilian clothes and putting them on before looking over her shoulder at Yukari and smiling brightly. "Oh yeah I love strawberry daifuku I'm totally down!" Niko said as she popped up to her feet and smiled brightly at Yukari again, her affection for the woman rising by the moment as she waited to follow her to the desert place.
