Reina breathed a sigh of nervousness, resolving herself to commit to this match and not run away out of fear. The young lioness was already scared to make her debut on the grandest stage a wrestler could compete on, but in the intergender ring?! "It's nice to meet you! I'm Reina Tozuka, and I'm 18!" Rai seemed pretty nervous, so Reina hoped her enthusiasm could ease those nerves before the bell rang and they would have to give their all.

Rai smiled back as his opponent, Reina, introduced herself in a way that was friendly and chipper, the blue-haired teen appreciating his equally blue haired opponent's friendly manner. Did a lot to put him at ease actually, considering the strange mix of past opponents he had.

"Heh. Me too! You're really cute! Let's have a good, clean, match alright?"

The young man said, blushing as he realized, only after speaking, that he had called her cute, making him blush a little. Hopefully she wouldn't notice!

Smiling happily at her opponent, Reina looked pleased when Rai mentioned his age in response. The unlucky girl could tell she had put him at ease with her friendly introduction. Reina was sure this fight would likely be a pleasant experience, and that was all she could ask for. However, noting that Rai had called her cute, Reina turned beet-red and wore an awkward but endearing smile. "T-thanks!" Was all Reina could muster as a response, before taking up a basic stance.

Seeing his opponent blush, Rai giggled a little. It seemed that, like him, his opponent was the type to blush easily!

Well, luckily, that wouldn't be an issue for him. This wasn't a hentai match, a rare occurrence for young Rai, so there wouldn't be anything going on for him to get embarrassed and flustered about for once thankfully!

Now that the bell had rung, he got his arms up, slowly walking towards the young woman with his arms outstretched, looking for a classic wrestling lock up. Bell ringing, Reina began making her way to the centre of a ring to meet Rai for a lock-up. Hearing Rai's questions, Reina began to consider something she had not thought of until now. How WAS the unlucky girl going to face her foe? Fingers intertwining and a test of strength beginning, Reina did her best to answer. "Um, well. My fighting style is...specialised for fighting women? I suppose I'm a grappler. I haven't been fighting long." Reina answered amidst the struggle with her opponent.

Rai blushed as his fellow blue haired fighter interlocked her fingers with his own, calling his bluff and initiating a test of strength hold with him, the two young fighters, equal in age and size, began to push hard against each other, and they seemed, at least at the start, to be evenly matched with each other!

While they struggled, the conversation continued, as Reina explained she was a grappler who mostly fought women, to which Rai, cheerfully, nodded in acknowledgment. "I can get that. I'm a grappler myself, and I'm still pretty new to this league. Only had a few matches so far, which...haven't really gone my way honestly..."

He said with an awkward chuckle, the blue haired teen trying to push harder against Reina to see if he could drive her a few steps back!

With their fingers interlocked, the two young wrestlers still found time to talk during the fight. Reina listened curiously to what Rai had to say. It seemed both were in a similar position, though, Reina was making her debut here today. Not wanting to let the conversation end or be outdone, as she felt herself getting pushed back, Reina began pushing back with all her strength. "Oh, well, sorry, but this one won't go well for you, either!" Reina retorted, trying to appear confident as she shoved against Rai
