Putting to the Test

Nashi was doing what some would say is impossible as she finally was putting Astrid through the wringer not letting up hitting the Norsewoman with knee straight up to the blondes jaw causing a crack to be heard!"Well that certainly hurt!" Nashi grinned as she then grabbed Astrid by the head and slammed her face first into the canvas causing a thud to echo in the gym! Once it was done she sat herself up letting a sigh of relief it worked but it also took a lot out of her to do that. It got more interesting as she could hear the excitement in Yukino's voice and when her friend apologized she chuckled."It's fine Yukino, after this no one would doubt us." She shot a confident smirk to her best friend as she then mounted the blonde Norsewoman and pinned her for her best friend to see.

Nashi was holding down Astrid tightly as she could feel the sweat glistening and coming down her head to drop onto the blonde Heavyweight. It almost over, just one more second, she could hold Astrid down for that long and finally beat her but then...WOAH!" Nashi gasped as Astrid kicked out at the last possible second causing Nashi to fall back laying down on the mat with a million things running through her head. She had become utterly starstruck that it didn't work, was it not strong enough? Or did she waste time talking to Yukino? All the time she felt the soreness in her muscles giving in as she heaved her body in and out leaving herself defenseless to the blonde Norwegian.

Astrid did have to admit, she was impressed. Nashi had come close to bringing her down for the final count, and that alone was proof that she was making strides in her training. But Astrid wasn't done just yet. She was committed to fighting with every bit of her power and every bit of her passion, no matter if she was in the ring or not; no matter if she was in front of a crowd or not. As long as she still had something left in her, she would hold onto it - it might just be what she needed to push herself to victory! And with that last gasp of strength, Astrid was able to kick her way out of the pin, shoving her body out from underneath Nashi!

Her face flushed red and her brow traced with sweat, Astrid started to crawl back across the mat, panting for air. But when she looked up at her opponent, a smirk came to her face. Now, she knew, Nashi was well worthy of her praise. "Oh, yes," Astrid explained, "no one's going to doubt you indeed! The fact that you were able to come so close to victory against a champion is nothing short of impressive. But...I promised you that I'm not going to let you go until I'm finished. And I'm...not finished just yet-!"

Sucking in a breath, Astrid pushed herself up off the mat, rising up to one knee. There, she hurled her weight forward to close in on Nashi as she jumped to her feet. Her arms would swing around the pink-haired girl's waist - and with that, she would throw herself back, attempting to hurl Nashi head-first into the mat for a German suplex!

Nashi was laying there utterly dumbfounded as she had Astrid down and nearly out but the blonde Norsewoman was still kicking and wasn't out just yet. While Nashi was trying to pull herself up, the blonde giant gave her some praise which did raise a rather week but happy smile to the Idol as she nearly had her pinned and even Astrid was willing to give her credit for that.

Even with the praise, Astrid still wanted to win just as much as Nashi as she hurled herself at her, wrapping her arms around the Idol and lifting her up in the air!"WOAHHHH STOPPPP-OMMMMPFFF!!!" Nashi screamed out as she flailed her arms about trying to escape but couldn't as Astrid sent her down to the mat and she was out! The impact caused a loud thud to bounce off the mat as Nashi's eyes rolled to the back of her skull as her body bended backward with her breasts smushing in right on her face as her arms laid back not moving in an inch. It was clear for all three of them that the spar was over and all Yukino had to do now was count out her best friend.

It had been a hard fight, but Nashi had managed to win Astrid's respect. She had chosen to go up against a former Heavyweight Champion with a storied career, and yet, she wasn't even daunted by the thought of it - she kept pushing herself further and further, honing her skills so that she could claim her place on the same level of Astrid herself. And now, she put all those skills to the test in making Astrid work for her victory! That told the Norsewoman that Nashi had taken her advice to heart. She was taking this seriously, and she had lived up to what it meant to be a true wrestler.

But even if Nashi had managed to impress her...the match still wasn't over! Astrid had made it clear that she was still out to win. And she wasn't going to let Nashi go until that happened! Whipping her through the air, Astrid hurled Nashi over her shoulders and brought her head-first down into the mat with a loud crack! The moment Nashi touched down, Yukino could feel the rumbles of the canvas beneath her feet, and it made her wince, taking a step backward. "N-Nashi, are you okay..?" she muttered - but everyone could see that Nashi was out like a light once the dust cleared!

Astrid pushed her back into an arc, raising her hips and bridging her body to keep Nashi's shoulders against the mat. But Yukino knew just as well that that was just a formality at this point. Sucking in a gulp, she dove in closer, slapping her hand against the mat - and predictably, the whole way through, Nashi didn't budge. "One! Two! THREE!"

As soon as the last count landed, Astrid obediently released Nashi and rolled over onto her knees. She let out a huff, rolling her shoulders and wiping some sweat off her brow - she had to admit, Nashi had made her work hard. "Okay...that's that, I suppose! But you did a good job. I invited you here to see if you could live up to my standards, and at that...I'd say you succeeded!"

Of course, Nashi wouldn't give any response - and when she saw her just laying there, Astrid blinked her eyes dumbfounded a few times before she continued. "...She's not going to hear me, is she?"

Yukino shook her head. "Nope..." Nevertheless, she leaned down to check Nashi.

Nash was knocked out clean, meaning it was another defeat by the hands of the blonde Norsewoman as she laid there in defeat with her body folded with her head pressing hard against the mat as her own best friend had to count her out. When it was over, Nashi simply fell over on the mat laying down with her head covering any trace of her head as she was still unconscious.

She couldn't even hear the stuff Astrid was saying even though she was being praised very highly by her but it fell on deaf ears. That was until Yukino checked on her and after a couple of light nudges Nashi's eyes started to blink as she slowly woke up in her friends' arms."Yuki...no... did.. I.. win...?" She asked before in the corner in her eye she saw Astrid standing tall and proud and realized what had happened."Dang... it...." She bit her teeth as she weakly punched the mat in frustration, she came so close to finally beating Astrid in a physical contest and had lost yet again."That makes three for three on you beating me.... it seems the only thing I can beat you in is modeling and nothing less...." She added in a weak yet sad tone of voice as she turned her head to not face her rival or Yukino as she felt utterly disappointed in herself for coming so close and still Astrid was ahead of her.

It had been a hard-fought battle, and one that called on Nashi to take her body to its utmost limits. Not only had she endured some powerful blows, she had pushed herself to great lengths to try and keep up with the Norsewoman. In the end, she just didn't have enough left to sustain her own body, and Astrid's final blow was enough to knock her out cold. Yukino was quick to come to her friend's side, checking her over for any signs of major damage, but when she heard the disappointment in Nashi's voice, she looked down with a sigh, a frown coming to her face. Even if Nashi had put forth a great effort, it seemed like she was still taking this loss personally - and she hated to see her best friend this way. "I'm sorry, Nashi...I mean, at least you tried, right?"

But then, Astrid began to step closer. Frowning, she kneeled down to Nashi's level, extending a hand to rest it on the pink-haired girl's shoulder. "Maybe you lost," she said, "but that doesn't matter. You came here to show me how much stronger you've grown - how much you've improved. And at that, you succeeded. You proved yourself a worthy opponent to even a champion like me. And to me, that means so much more than whether you won or lost. You made me proud."

While she did try her best, Nashi couldn’t shake the feeling if she just did one more move or something, Astrid would’ve been knocked out cold but she came up short to the Norsewoman yet again. She couldn’t bare to look Yukino in the face or Astrid until the blonde heavyweight kneeled down and placed a soft hand on her shoulder making her turn with a gasped face.”Astrid?” She asked softly as she listened to Astrid and the words she said really meant a lot to Nashi, saying she was a worthy opponent for Astrid which did make the idol smile brightly.”Thanks, Astrid that means a lot coming from you.” She chuckled underneath her breathe as she tried to push herself up to a standing position.”From here on out our rivalry just begun okay? Sure we clashed before but I feel like how we’re able to face each other on about an equal level don’t you agree?” Her once sad expression turned to one of pure excitement and competitiveness as she shot a cocky grin at the blonde woman as she put her hand out for a handshake.

To Nashi, it had been an unforgivable disappointment that she'd come just short of beating Astrid. But that wasn't how the Norsewoman saw it. To Astrid, the fact that Nashi had even been able to come this close was a sign that she had come a long way. She thought back on the Nashi she had faced in her debut, and how little of a fight she'd put up. But even though she had been able to overcome her easily, Astrid could still see potential in how Nashi fearlessly put herself up to the challenge and wouldn't let herself be intimidated even if she was facing a champion. Now, as Astrid thought back on it with a smile, she could see that all her hopes had been vindicated. Nashi had just shown her that she could improve; that she had improved. And that she would go far.

A smile broke across her face as Nashi began to collect herself, and she nodded her head to her. Seeing the pink-haired girl was struggling to get up, Astrid extended her hand just in case she needed it. "Here," she said. Regardless of whether or not Nashi needed it to get up, though, Astrid would still take her hand with a firm grip and shake it. Nashi had earned it.

"If that's what you want...consider it a deal!" she said, nodding her head to Nashi. "I can see how much I've already pushed you to improve. If I can keep that up, imagine how far you'll go!" She chuckled. "If you ever want another crack at me in the ring...just let me know, okay?"

There was no denying that while it was a gym spar, both girls put their all into it, even leaving some nasty stings on their bodies as a result. As Nashi rose, Astrid offered a hand not out of pity but out of respect for her performance today which Nashi accepted."Heh, thanks Astrid." She said as she got on both feet and let out a light smile before telling her that as off today, the two we're officially rivals, which while is a bold statement to make it was to show how much Nashi grew as a wrestler, if she could nearly beat Astrid in a sparring session, she could beat her in the ring and thankfully to her Astrid accepted the offer.


Hearing what Astrid said brought nothing but a pure smile to Nashi as the two shook hands with a firm grip even showing a bit of their biceps with Nashi sending another cocky grin to her new rival."Oh for sure you'll be hearing from me soon don't you worry and next time I'll win got it?" She smirked before turning to Yukino."Say Yukino, if you ask me a match between you and Astrid would be a lot of fun, after all you're submission prowess vs Astrid's overwhelming strength would be great to see, but just between us three, Astrid you may be well known in the ring but for modeling, Yukino and I gotch'a beat. After all, Yukino's got a bigger package if you know what I mean eh?" She joked nudging Yukino on the shoulder."I'll let you know next time will have
match but let me know next time you want another photoshoot like we did with Alaina okay?" She added with her leaning forward with her hands firmly on her hips with a playful smirk and eyebrow wondering if Astrid will also accept that request.

Nashi had a lot of spirit - that much Astrid could tell. She couldn't have improved so much in so short a time if she hadn't put her full effort into everything she did, with the fullest of her heart. Even now, she was positing that she had it in her to beat Astrid the next time they crossed paths, and that was something that made the Norsewoman smirk. It was a bold statement, for sure. One that most people would've laughed off. But if what Nashi had shown her today was any indication...Astrid couldn't doubt that the idol just might have it in her.

With Nashi bringing up the possibility of a match between Astrid and Yukino, the white-haired girl rubbed at her chin in thought. "You really think so, Nashi? I, uh...I'm not sure..." When Yukino looked up at Astrid, taking note of the heavyweight's powerful muscles, she winced just a little - the thought of going up against someone like her was an intimidating one, and Astrid's reputation as a champion preceded her just as much as her reputation for her strength did. Still, she couldn't deny, with both women being well-accomplished and celebrated competitors, a match between the two of them seemed like it would put butts in seats, all right. Even if actually being part of that match was a scary thought.

However, the next thing out of Nashi's mouth would make Yukino's face flush a bright red, as she crossed her arms over her chest. "N-NASHI-!!" she blustered. Even Astrid blushed just a little - Nashi, she saw, didn't have much of a filter on her thoughts. But she stopped and cleared her throat all the same.

"That doesn't mean much in the ring," Astrid said. "I know you have the drive of a serious wrestler in you, so I should hope you won't lose sight of it if you get too caught up in your looks. But...I suppose that after I made this offer, I owe you, yeah? And after a hard-fought battle like this, something lower-stakes would be a nice change of pace." She smiled, patting Yukino on the shoulder. "Might have to take you up on a match some time, though," she added.

"...Me?" Yukino, needless to say, would only blush harder. Was Astrid really that impressed with her?
