Alizeh was fairly smart about it all.
Cass? As of Cass.. after her word vomit, Cassandra had gone silent and just closed her eyes for a minute. Alizeh could very well have pinned her, but her hands were clasped in rough but firm hands that were familiar to her, and the butterfly was sat back up. She’d lightly blink, warm sensation on her face.. her cheeks.. the oddest of thoughts flashed into her head.
[.. am I going to be called an idiot sandwi-]
Okay, it wasn’t FAR off from what Cassandra expected. Wide eyed, she’d look right up at her friend, before being pulled into a tight grip. Later on she would say that the “bearhug” was so tight it forced some dampness out of her eyes but those were tears alright. She’d slowly put her arms around Alizeh, hearing her tell her how worried she was and.. almost have a breakdown.“You idiot!”
Which in turn had HER almost about to break down again, as she’d rub her eyes against Alizeh’s shoulder lightly.
“.. y-yes.. ma’am..”
Cass lightly rested the palms of her hands against Alizeh’s waist, shivering just a little. Forcefully she was pulled into a more comforting hug that Cass.. didn’t mind, but her eyes did widen at that last bit. She didn’t know that Alizeh would do that.
“You would.. go with me..?”
That was.. just.. surprising. She’d rub her eyes, feeling like she was being cradled. Last time someone had done that was her mom.. who was also probably worried sick, but.. Cass was sure her cousin had told her where she was at at least. Her fingers gently brushed against Alizeh’s stomach.. before taking a small, sweet sigh.
And then lightly poking her belly button.
“.. h-how about.. we go back to knocking the stuffing out of each other and THEN.. we can go out and talk over food..?”
