Kyoko Akan (C) vs Katarzyna Zawiślak — Last Woman Standing Match for the LAW Middleweight Title

Kate was barely holding on, her vision blurry and riddled with blind spots as she desperately tried to breathe, having to force each and every breath she took once Kyoko stopped her attack for a moment. Focused on effectively respirating herself, Kate hardly even noticed as she was positioned for the next move by the belly queen. Even if she did, she would not be able to do much about that in the state she was in.

Once her vision cleared a bit with more oxygen running through her blood, Kate would get a perfect picture of Kyoko looming above her before dropping with her knees down on top of Kate's stomach. Her body bent, gave in and fell with a sickening thud as her belly was caved in, not able to brace anymore at this point and going completely soft as Kate let out a wet wheeze with all the breath leaving her at once but still she was conscious. Not even adrenalin holding her in but just pure spite as she tried to weakly push Kyoko off of her!

The unpleasant thud from the fall wasn't great for her either, the effort used to get herself up was almost drained from her just for falling on Kate. The results were beautiful, she could feel the challenger's core give up completely from the final drop letting her knees sink in and do more damage. Kate was pushing back against her trying to fight her off despite her position leaving Kyoko slightly shocked at how far she was willing to push herself to stop Kyoko from winning. The Belly Queen rolled off of Kate and took a second to recover, the damage done to them making her move slowly. She didn't have much time left, her adrenaline was fading and she was going to be left with nothing if she didn't act. Kate could still fight so a simple punch or kick or even a regular slam might not do the trick and if Kate could find a way to stand after that...Kyoko didn't want to think about it, she had to go for the best option possible.

She reached over and grabbed Kate's head pulling her around and up on her feet so that the Belly Queen could straighten her out. She would throw one last punch to Kate's belly to try and stop her from doing anything before she'd place her head between her legs. Then she would grab her arms and pull them up a little before hooking her arms around Kate's legs and then reaching down to place her head on Kate's shoulder next to Kate's own. "Come on.." Kyoko muttered to herself, before trying to lift Kate up and hold her in the position she needed. The crowd saw what was going on, recognizing the move that had ended all of her past challengers, and had never been kicked out of in Kyoko's entire career. Now it was Kate's turn to feel what hundreds have felt, the might of Kyoko's biggest move. She wobbled around, giving fans just enough hope that she might slip or fall before pulling it off, until she caught herself and was able to stay in place. She would jump and fall backwards, sending Kate to the mat with the devastating Akan Buster! If it hit she'd crash Kate into the mat with so much force that Kyoko would bounce off the mat a little, before laying on it with only a few signs that she could still move.

Kyoko slid off of Kate, letting Kate breathe again though she could only rely on the muscles in her chest for that after the last attack, she was not even sure if she'd be able to stand with her core so battered but even so, as Kyoko took a moment to breath, Kate tried pushing up to a sitting position, not able to do it all at once but inching closer to it before being grabbed and forced up to her feet and dragged to the centre of the ring, before one more strike got hammered into her belly!

She didn't make noise this time, her body feeling like she could simply not spend the energy for even that much, the pain, though Kate knew she felt it, it feelt somehow distant and numb as she lurched forward, banding around the fist but still forcing herself to look up into Kyoko's eyes and spiting blood into the woman's face in one last act of defiance before she was pushed down to a position she recognised all too well but was now helpless to stop. Try as she might, Kate would be hoisted up by Kyoko and though the champion almost fell in the attempt, she would drop Kate back, making the girl's entire body bounce off the service of the ring, rolling limply to her side from the impact alone as the count would begin!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

"FOUR!"

"FIVE!"

Even as fans cried and pleaded for Kate to get up and fight, the girl remained motionless on the ground, not able to hear the people in the arena as her mind slipped into darkness. She gave it her all and there was just nothing left, coming so close to winning and yet, seemingly falling short at the very last moment.

The fall was enough to leave Kyoko out of it if not for the crowd's loud banging and the count reminding her that this was a match. She knew Kate wasn't getting up again without looking at her, but if she didn't get up this match would be a draw. That's still a successful defense in anyone else's book except Kyoko's, a victory made the statement that she needed. She tried to sit up only for the pain in her back and midsection to stop her, the backbreaker coming back to her head, her brain being fried making it hard to come up with an alternate plan while the count kept going.

"SIX!"

"SEVEN!"

With only 3 more counts left Kyoko came up with a new plan. She started to roll, moving enough to tell everyone she was still standing, hearing the crowd boo at the thought of her finding another way out of what should've been her end. She couldn't stand up the normal way so her only option lay on the outside. She reached the end and tried to put her feet in front of her before she'd fall out, hoping that from her position she'd be able to hot the floor feet first.

"EIGHT!"

"NINE!"

She had no time to play it safe. She fell out of the ring and like she planned was able to get her feet on the floor. But the moment she landed she started to stumble, Kyoko pulled back trying to keep herself up, walking like she was drunk until her arms hit the barricade, using them to keep herself up..to keep herself standing tall while Kate had been unable to move.

"TEN! That's it!" The ref said calling for the bell and the end of this match.

The bell ringing almost made Kyoko fall over, she needed the break from the action to recover and find her strength again. She stayed up because of pride, the desire to stand tall and show the world that she was still the champion after one of the toughest title matches in the Middleweight division. "Here's your winner and still LAW's Middleweight Champion....Kyookooo...Akaaaaan!" The crowd booed, Kyoko smiled looking at the crowd's anger with glee and pride. She'd done it, she'd taken down Kate and endured another challenger. She turned around and leaned on the barricade until the ref handed her her belts which she raised up in the air even though her grip was shaky. She didn't care, now that she won she needed to show them that she was above them, sleep could wait a few more minutes.

Alizeh had been so preoccupied with keeping Tara and Kyrie down and out of the match that she had barely been able to focus on what was going on in the ring. Not until she heard the impact of body on the mat and the start of a count. Swiveling around and watching Alizeh's heart dropped as she saw Kate was the one down. Ignoring Tara and Kyrie, the former of whom grabbed her younger compatriot and led her away to where Kyoko was, knowing now that fighting more wouldn't be necessary. Approaching the ring and slapping the apron Alizeh would shout out at Kate!

"Come on Kate! Get up! You can do this! Kate!" Alizeh yelled out at her, trying to motivate her towards her feet, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears as Kate remained until the fateful ten count. Dropping her head and holding the ring apron Alizeh would curse under her breath, heart breaking for her girl friend. Sliding smoothly under the ring towards her girlfriend Alizeh would gently lift the woman up and letting her rest against her.

"Its ok Kate... I've got you... You did so well." Alizeh said gently kissing the girl on the cheek while sliding back, gently pulling Kate with her till the two of them were under the ropes where Alizeh could pull Kate into her arms bridal style. Looking up and glaring fiercely at the belly queen as she raised both titles up Alizeh silently swore to avenge Kate, along with her own loss... Sometime. Sometime soon.

Despite all the noise in the arena, cries of the fans, the commentators and even Alizeh yelling for Kate to get up, none of it could reach Kate, the count reached it's end and she bearly stored and even then it was hardly a conscious effort. The first thing she would remember after waking up would be a vague sensation of motion as she was dragged out of the ring and picked up.

At first, her instincts blared, she was just in a fight and beating moved must have meant danger but her body wouldn't obey her to react, she only jerked, letting out a groan as her eyes opened and the reality sunk in. The match was over. Soo much for leading herself dry. Some part of her looked back at the moment Alizeh rushed in to help, maybe she should have used that instead of sending Alizeh out... though even if she won, what would that be worth? A victory on paper at best and it was never the point.

Kate would sigh as she leaned her head on Alizeh's shoulder, she heard her girlfriend's words but the part about doing well rang hollow. If she did well, she would not be carried out of the arena, she'd be strolling out with the belt in hand herself. She was too tired to think about that now though as she simply muttered "I'm sorry" As they disappeared backstage.

Abdominion stood tall, Kyoko stood tall. Those were the things that mattered to her. She would face thousands of doubters and hundreds of fighters who wanted what she had and they would all fall the same under the might of this team. Kyoko had never felt more alive than when she was fighting and when she tasted victory after a tough fight. She knew what many would say of the result but at the end of the day when Kate went down it was because of the work Kyoko did and it was just the two of them in those final moments. She saw Kirie and Tara standing close by, Kirie hurting a bit after being knocked into the barricade, but both were well enough to walk with her after her fifth title defense, and 3rd PPV defense. Between this victory and her Main Event at the last PPV this was shaping up to be her most successful year in wrestling. Who else might she defeat before it was over? She was looking forward to making the fans find out the hard way.

"Come on you two, after putting down our challengers I think we've earned a backstage celebration and rest." Kyoko said telling the two it was time to leave. Despite being beat all over and feeling like she lost 3 inches of her neck Kyoko was still able to stand up and walk out with both belts raised up high, showing the crowd the two belts people have failed to take from her after ending her war with Da Xia. The Belly Queen was smiling as cockily as ever to show the fans that her latest hero was just another failure...what they wouldn't see was that shortly after she got to her locker room to celebrate, Kyoko passed out from the exhaustion and fatigue Kate put her through...where she would remain until early next morning.
