Kyoko Akan (C) vs Katarzyna Zawiślak — Last Woman Standing Match for the LAW Middleweight Title

Kyoko pulled to stretch Kate out, bringing the leg far enough that she could bend Kate's back making the challenger scream in pain while trying to endure and escape, which Kyoko tried to stop by making the submission tighter. Her reliance on the one leg for the added control it gave her over the single leg she grabbed let Kate turn her body enough by enduring the pain to escape, grabbing Kyoko's own leg and using her free one to try and pull Kyoko off balance and trip her. She fell forward and tried to catch herself while Kate would use the moment to get away and find the safety of the ropes again. Kyoko would simply push herself back up so she wasn't surprised by anything else. "Oh great, another idiot who thinks I lie to myself, only the 20th one." Kyoko said annoyed. The fact that Kate was hiding behind any reason she was upset besides the obvious one was also annoying but Kate was clearly going to stick to her delusions while accusing Kyoko of being the one to live in them.

Her focus wasn't on anything that needed to be convinced, it was on breaking Kate for good. When she tried to lock up with her Kyoko met her so she could push against her long enough to try and go for a monkey flip to drop down and send Kate over her. If that worked, the plan after that was to turn and jump on her target again. Mounting her from the front to get on her chest and pin down her arms to open up her chest for a few belly punches, aiming around the center to wear Kate's body down.

Trying to talk with Kyoko was tiresome, Kate never was one to talk much in a fight, much less so when she really did not care for her opponent, some banter was one thing, spiting venom was another and regardless of what she'd say, she'd be met with the same reaction. She didn't care much for insults hurled her way or accusations of dishonesty, for them to sting, she'd have to care about the opinion of the person delivering them, or at least find them remotely accurate which in this case, she did not.

All that talk was however distracting and though Kate had a plan going into a lock-up to use the moment Kyoko would falter to take hold of her for a slam, the woman managed to hold her ground long enough to find a counter for Kate's plans, instead hurling her through the air with a monkey flip! "Thhha!" She let out as she fell before finding Kyoko taking the mount on her chest but instead of facing her head, she predictably faced the rest of her body, prompting Kate to brace her core for the incoming punches. "Buaggh... Khaaa... Grhhhy" She let out with every punch digging into her flesh!

She would not let the belly queen enjoy this for long however, kicking up her legs as she raised her fist for another strike, getting one of her limbs under her armpit while the other went over the woman's shoulder to meet the first behind the woman's neck, pulling tight and swinging to the side to get the woman off of her. If she was successful to that point, she would then grab the remaining arm, twisting it against the resistance point of the shoulder and pulling it tight to lock in a combination of a crucifix side triangle choke and armbar, focused on the same limb as her kimura from before, with a full intent on shaping the limb should Kyoko not be fast enough to find a way out!

The body punches continued, making Kate wince under the Belly Queen's attacks while she was prepared to leave her too hurt to stand from here, she knew that even if she survived the spear that her abs had to be hurting from it and some more punches could find her way through. Kate quickly snapped her legs up after a few punches and grabbed her, trying to pull her down or shift positions so that she could bring Kyoko off her and bring her down, preparing to go for another submission that would force Kyoko to her back while locking her in a crucifix and then grab and torture the arm she'd used previously.

"Ngghh." Kyoko growled, trying to fight and stop the submissions from succeeding, she pulled her arm against Kate's hold and tried to stop her from fully locking it in while she would use her other hand to grab Kate's leg and pull it with her own strength to try and keep her from pulling away and then trying to force her head out. If she could pull that off she'd slide out as much as she could and then kick at KAte's head to make her let go of her arm so she could roll away and stand up.

Kate's escape plan was successful, to a point at least, she managed to get started on locking in both the choke and the armbar but Kyoko kept her wits about her and managed to stall the completion of the hold for long enough to work on the angle and pull her leg back to then fire it at Kate's head, knocking it to the side and forcing her to let go. "Ghhha!" She let out rolling in the opposite direction, with the force of the kick and turning on her belly to push up as fast as possible.

Putting on constant pressure was what she was best at and she would not be giving Kyoko any space to breathe now after the woman retreated. Hoping to get to her as she just got up, she would go for another lock up, this time however, not keeping it for long as she'd move for two on one grip on Kyoko's arms, forcing the arm aside as she'd go low, threading her arm under the woman's crotch, along with her knee while the other hand gripped her wrist to then drive upwards, standing up to a fireman's carry position which she'd follow by slamming the champion back down to the ground!

Another submission escaped and she managed to conk Kate's skull while she attempted her escape. She managed to break away and roll away only to rise up and see Kate already coming at her again, putting her hands up to try and block her by grabbing Kate and attempting to force her to back off, she knew she could since even with her hurt arm her power was almost impossible to surpass for a middleweight. Kate must've known that because now she was the one looking for other ways around it, going low instead of facing Kyoko and lifting her up into a fireman's carry to toss her to the floor.

"Ugh." Kyoko groaned, hitting the mat after getting dropped, quickly looking up and try to get to her side before Kate attacked since she knew the wombat would try to follow that up with something else and being flat on her back was not the place to be to fight against it.

Kata managed to chase down Kyoko and snag her off her feet while she was still fresh onto them, years of freestyle wrestling coming in clutch with a quick way into a fireman's carry after which she managed to send the champion crashing down. Despite that, however, Kyoko was still firm with her head in the game, turning to the side to avoid an attack that did not come down where she landed but would follow now.

Seeing the champion's immediate reaction, Kate smirked a little, angling herself so that she'd be able to kick Kyoko's back when she turned to make her go flat on the ground. If she could get that, she'd then grab the woman's legs, crossing them and placing her own behind as she'd lean down to grab the woman's arms, trying to pull them up behind her and thus Kyoko's upper body off the ground to then slam her down with her signature curb stomp - Moonblade!

The fighting was back on the mat, letting Kyoko get to her front to try and move away from Kate while thinking of another thing to do. Kate was quick to get on top of her again forcing her down to the mat where she could grab her legs and try to hook them with her own before grabbing her arms, Kyoko tried to pull them away at this point, but she got enough leverage on one that even if she didn't have the full grip on the other she was able to bend her back and elevate her enough that Kyoko could be stomped by Kate and driven into the mat with a boot.

"Ugggh!" Kyoko screamed, face landing first while Kate's boot added more pressure and sandwiched her face into the mat. Once her arms were free they went to rub and protect her head while she tried to recover from the painful impact of the stomp, Kate's signature move looking effective enough to put Kyoko down and leaving people wondering if it would keep her down.

In a swift rush of movement, Kate managed to force Kyoko into a perfect position for her signature and fully capitalized on that by sending the woman's head down to the mat with all of Kate's on top of it, with Kate keeping her foot there for just a second longer before stepping off. The audience's reactions seemed like they thought Kyoko might just stay down after that. Kate was however not nearly that naive and would not give Kyoko the satisfaction by underestimating the woman's already proven toughness.

Walking around the woman, she'd kneel down, with her head between her legs and reach for her arms to peel them away from her head before trying to lock in a double under hook before trying to stand up with Kyoko in that grip before lifting her up and falling to her knees to slam the woman's head into the ground with a piledriver!

Her head was a mess, the pain was making her dizzy again and Kate was right around the corner to try and pull her up and do something else. She wasn't going for a count unless she did something else. Kyoko's arms were pulled away from her and used to force her to come up more until sh ewas close enough to be pulled in and her arms were hooked. From this position Kyoko knew where she was going next, and off her instincts alone tried to prepare herself.

When Kate lifted her she wouldn't resist, instead she would jump with Kate's lift to only get off the ground but go high enough that she would go over Kate's head. If it worked she'd instead end up behind Kate with their arms still hooked, which would normally be a good time for Kyoko to use the hook against her and roll her up for a pin, instead Kyoko would use the hook to keep Kate's arms out of the way as she elbowed the back of her head, before she'd reach around and grab it, head going past the chin and around her neck to pull it back and on her shoulder before dropping down to punish Kate with a neckbreaker.

Things seemed to be going well, as they well should, given the brain trauma Kyoko has just been subject to and in just a few moments she would be on the receiving end of quite a bit more of that, Kate was intent on keeping that going up until the count reached ten or the referee had to stop her. It wouldn't get that far though, not by a long shot as Kyoko would manage to not only stop the attempt but jump over Kate while keeping the hooks in place.

Kate wouldn't get much time to think what was Kyoko's plan with that position though, as soon as one of her arms got released, she was slammed with an elbow to the back of her head, making her stumble forward a step but still caught by the champion, not able to escape far. Right after that, she'd feel a grip tighten around the chin before getting dropped, neck first onto the shoulder of the belly queen! "NGGGGGHAA!" She'd cry in pain, feeling as if her neck was about to snap with the impact before rebounding to a sitting position, which she would not hold for long, falling back to the ring floor and turning on her side, one arm nursing and trying to protect her neck after that vicious blow!
