The Strongest Stand Alone: Zira Cabalero vs Alaina Sanders-Haines - Heavyweight Title Match

Zira grunted and groaned softly as she pulled on Alaina's legs which only seemed to incur further wrath from the Amazon as she fired back with some shots at Zira's face! "Ngh!" Zira grunted out in pain before growling softly. As Alaina would send more punches Zira would reach up to grab hold of the woman's fist and hold it tight before grabbing at Alaina's fingers and twisting them to the side, bending them backwards as well if necessary to try and make Alaina let go!

Alaina was shocked as Zira grabbed both her fists and began prying at her fingers, causing Alaina to grimace in pain while letting go of the headscissor. She pulled her hands back shaking them off as she got up to her feet. She would lumber back over to kick Zira in the chest as she was getting up hoping to send her back down to the mat right on her back.

Zira was a precise and pragmatic fighter, despite her brutish nature, and as such she was able to find the most direct, simplified way of escaping Alaina's scissor hold, and that was to make the woman let go. All it took was near snapping the woman's fingers to accomplish. Trying to get back up Zira would find herself cut off by a kick from Alaina that pushed Zira back down to the mat! Clicking her teeth in annoyance Zira would roll backwards as she landed in order to get her feet under her and push herself up to her feet, glaring at Alaina and daring the woman to come at her.

Zira didn't have to do much to get Alaina to move in as by the time she was rising Alaina was already close and continuing her charge! Alaina was looking to rush in and spear Zira right back down to the mat next to the ropes as she was opting to go for as simple as possible a way to continue her offense. Alaina wanted to hammer Zira hard and wear her down as she had to inflict a lot of punishment in this type of match. There was no option aside from attack for the amazon.

Zira groaned softly as she started to get up. Alaina had got her good with that squeeze but she wasn't going to go down that easy. Watching the Amazon carefully even before she was up fully she would of course notice the champ coming in towards her, diving for her legs! 'Oh no you don't!' Zira thought to herself as she leapt up in Alaina's direction as she neared, throwing her leg out as she did so to try and catch the woman half way with a knee strike to the jaw!

Alaina lunged in, but it played right into the counter! Her head was rocked as the knee strike landed and sent her head rocking to the side as she stumbled. Alaina flopped down onto the mat landing on her front groaning as she rolled to her side cradling her head in her arms. That strike left her in a daze and she was feeling it as Zira seemed to be back in control of things leaving Alaina in a haze on the canvas.

Using a well timed knee to the face Zira managed to once again turn the tide of the match and knocking Alaina for a loop in the process. Landing back on her feet and turning to meet the sight of her fallen opponent the silver haired woman would smirk already having an idea. Diving forward as she neared the fallen champion Zira would land on her hands before turning her body midair and dropping down legs first on Alaina's ribs! Should this land then Zira would roll backwards to immediately get back on her feet before diving forward once more and turning through the air for an immediate follow up senton!

Alaina was down and cradling her head leaving her body wide open for Zira's follow up. Alaina groaned as Zira crashed down the first time and again more loudly when the senton landed! Alaina kicked the legs in pain as she was now holding her torso and her face twisted in agony! Things were again looking bad for the amazon who was really struggling. She was not getting going while Zira was having a far easier time building momentum meaning that the champion was in trouble!

Crashing down twice on Alaina's body Zira would stand back up before looking down at Alaina with a smirk dawning across her face. "Whats wrong champ? Having a hard time keeping up?" Zira asked sarcastically while reaching down to grab Alaina's hands before lifting up to get the woman in a sitting position, if successful than Zira would pull her leg back before shooting it forward to deliver a kamigoye knee strike to the woman's face! "Try a nap!" She'd cry out if the move was successful before backing up to let the ref try and start counting the woman out!

Alaina groaned as she was pulled up before her face was smashed sending her back down to the mat in heap. Alaina crashed motionless and was laid out as the referee started counting.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

Alaina made a fist and smashed the mat shaking her head.

"FOUR!"

"FIVE!"

Alaina sat up and began to push herself back up to her feet in a wobbly but determined way. "That is all you think it takes?" Alaina said as she got up readying herself fully expecting Zira to rush in before she is even fully upright.
