Double Debut - Alexa Reid vs Shiki Hasegawa

Backstage, LAW staff will see a new redhead pacing around. Her fingers drummed against her thighs as she tried to focus, but her thoughts kept darting like quicksilver. This was it, the moment she had been dreaming of. The day Alexa finally got her first match as a LAW wrestler, despite her parent's objection. She's filled with excitement and can't wait to see what kind of person she'll face.

Instincts, she reminded herself. Trust your instincts.

She bounced on the balls of her feet, shaking out her limbs to hype herself up. As her theme begins to blast, Alexa bursts into the arena, revealing herself donning a pink, shiny, form-fitting high-necked bodysuit, accompanied with her black leather gloves. Reveling on her debut, Alexa makes her way towards the ring while waving and smiling at the crowd, interacting with them to make them curious on what this new talent have to offer. Sliding in between the ropes, Alexa went to her corner to shadow box for a while as she waits for her opponent to arrive.

Shiki kept shifting her weight and fidgeting in place. The reason she had to be that nervous was her upcoming debut at LAW. After so many time of hard work and training Shiki had made it to the big stages and she didn’t want to mess her tryout up. She had one year to make an impression between the LAW management and the crowd so she could fully say that she became a LAW wrestler, and it all started that night with her first appearance on stage. She gave herself a couple pats on the face to reassure herself. She wasn’t messing that up.

Entrance theme

Wonder Shiki

The speakers boomed with Shiki’s entrance theme and she made her way down the ramp, making an energetic entrance to try and catch the crowd’s attention by giving some high fives and greeting some fans while she made her light run towards the ring. Then she made it between the ropes as her theme died out making a final pose for everyone in the crowd before shifting her attention towards her rival. She looked so cool in her pink attire and her looks were also some of an experienced wrestler. Not wanting to present herself as rude for looking, Shiki walked towards the center of the ring and started her introduction. “Wow, double debut, eh? Let’s do our best today!”, she said offering her rival a handshake, her energy almost contagious.

As Shiki made her way towards the ring, Alexa paused her shadowboxing and observe her entrance. She couldn't help but smile as she saw Shiki's radiant energy. From the looks of it, it seems that they have two things in common. Both are newcomers at LAW, and are excited to showcase their skills to the world!

As they meet in the center of the ring, the first thing Alexa noticed from her rival is her purple and golden hair. That lowkey looks cool. Alexa then accepts Shiki's handshake, giving it a firm grip while smiling back. "Haha, yep, that's us. Let's show the world what we're capable of!"

After exchanging pleasantries, Alexa backs off to her corner and do some last minute stretches, her face transitioning into a look of determination. Nodding to the referee to signal her readiness, she waits for the bell to ring before leaping into action.

For Shiki there was nothing like some good sense of camaraderie and that’s exactly what she got when greeting Alexa. Seeing her rival smile back and double the pleasantries only made Shiki feel happier, her energy almost to the point of bursting! Of course the pleasantries had to end and the two debutants walked back to their corners, Alexa doing some stretches while Shiki hopped in place to maintain her warmup. The look on Shiki’s face mirrored the one on her rival’s, showing how determined and reassured she was. She wouldn’t throw away her shot at this!

With the bell ringing the match started and suddenly it all became too real. Shiki could hear the crowd starting to cheer, see the lights over them in an almost individual way and any of her rival’s moves looked like it took a while to do. She quickly shook her head to return to normalcy and started slowly walking in circles around Alexa while in a guarding stance. Her arms went slowly up to hint a lockup and when she was at a decent distance she would suddenly burst in energy, going at her rival in an attempt to get a collar elbow lockup with her to start things.

As the bell rang, Alexa could hear the crowd's cheers, causing adrenaline to surge through her veins. Her heart raced loudly, but she took a deep breath to calm down, bringing her focus back to Shiki.

The first thought in her mind is to rush forward, to catch Shiki in surprise with a flashy blow, but she exerts a considerable amount of self control to keep patient. There's a chance she's good at countering. Calm down, Alexa. Don't be reckless on your debut.

Alexa then copies her opponent strategy, both girls waiting to see who will make the first move. As Shiki comes closer, Alexa suddenly charges towards Shiki for a lockup, one hand on the shoulder and the other on the hand neck. Surprisingly, her adversary does the same. As both girls clashed in the middle, Alexa starts pushing back, attempting to overpower Shiki.

It seemed that Shiki and Alexa’s minds were working in unison that night. Both the debutants wanted to start their careers with a flashy match and neither of them wanted to yield any terrain, so the two of them clashed in a collar and elbow lock, one of the most classic wrestling moves was more than suitable to start a match between two fledging talents like theirs. Shiki steeled her resolve, secured her feet to the mat and with a stomp she started pushing with all of her might. Groans of exertion started escaping her. That woman was really strong and knew how to use her size advantage well! With the seconds passing Shiki’s prospects for the hold didn’t look that good as Alexa proved to be stronger than her, the purplette’s drive losing some of its strength until she finally had to take a couple steps back, taking the loss on that test and getting into a disadvantageous position for the moment. Would Alexa use this to her favor?

Alexa was met with resistance from the purple-haired girl. Of course, Shiki isn't just going to stand there and do nothing. At the beginning, both girls are evenly matched, two powerful forces colliding in a struggle for early dominance in the match. However, as time passes, it seems clear that Alexa has the advantage, using her size to her advantage and wearing Shiki down, forcing her to take steps back.

This is an opening I could use! Seeing her chance, Alexa channels her energy and grabs Shiki to throw her opponent towards the ring ropes. The crowd cheers as Alexa begins her offense. With Shiki rebounding off the ropes, Alexa sets up her stance to perform a Spinning Backfist! Alexa spun around, aiming her fist to strike Shiki in the face!

With each passing second it was pretty clear that Shiki was the one on the losing edge of that collar elbow hold, the purplette losing some ground in the end as it was proven that Alexa had more raw strength than her. Seeing how Shiki was losing terrain, Alexa decided to get a hold on her arm and throw her against the ropes! With a gasp of surprise Shiki began her run towards the edge of the ring. The momentum Alexa had given her was enough for her to make it impossible to stop, and the time given after bouncing against the ropes and beginning the run back wasn’t enough to mount a counter move, so Shiki ended up running back at Alexa just as the pinkette intended to get hit by a powerful and spectacular spinning backfist that got Shiki just on the side of her head!

“Uaaagh!!” the strength the move had added to the accumulated momentum to make a decent amount of impulse that launched Shiki against the mat, landing butt first and then the rest of her body. Taken aback by the high impact move, she would try to roll over to recover, but her moves would be slow and sluggish given how strongly Alexa had decided to start the match.

It's connected! Alexa hypes the crowd up after Shiki's body collided with the canvas. It feels good to finally show off her skills in a real match. God knows how many times she practiced it on the punching bag. Capitalizing on this moment, Alexa then approaches her fallen opponent, straddling her from the side as she hook one of Shiki's legs up, going for an early pin!

"Come on Shiki, get up! I know you still have a lot of gas inside the tank!" Alexa softly whispered in Shiki's ear, not wanting anyone in the crowd noticing it. Her words were both a taunt and encouragement, some sort of a combination between the two. The referee proceeds to come closer towards them, getting ready to start the count.

Shiki’s body impacted against the mat and left the debutant a little dazed from the heavy blow to the side of the head she had just received. Still feeling a little groggy and in pain after some instants she could feel Alexa’s body pressing against hers and hooking one of the purplette’s legs for an early pin attempt. Then came Alexa’s remarks, whispered to her so no one else could hear it. Was that encouragement coming from her rival? Of course Alexa wouldn’t be expecting to seal the match after just one move, so was that a way to call Shiki to arms, to rouse her spirit. The purplette decided she would take it that way.

“You’ve seen nothing yet!”, she said while jerking her body to escape the pin just after the referee got the “one” count done. Shiki would spring to action to take her rival by surprise with her sudden recovery, getting on her feet before Alexa so she could greet her with some chops to her upper chest area in order to soften her rival. It may be true that Shiki wasn’t as strong as the pinkette, but she was going to show how she could make up for that with quickness or repeated hits as she was doing now!
