No.
Spectre’s face tightened when she heard it. Her soul shivered.
When the crowd saw him rise, they were there with him, cheering him along as he struggled. Every step of the way. Go further, Oscar! Just a little more. Keep fighting! Don't give up now!
Spectre for her part, was stuck for the ride. She was perfectly on-top of him, with one leg behind his inner thigh and another over his nape. Both arms were needed to wrangle ONE of his arms how she needed it to be. There were no options. Naturally, she spewed whatever poison she could to weaken his morale..
“Give up, Oscar. Quit.”
The leg folded to further choke him. She held her breath, then let it out slowly as she wrenched his arm until her upper-back started to curl. It was just about the maximum she could torque the hold, keep him restrained and stop him from the ropes. "QUIT!"
The closer he got to them, the more her stomach sank. She had so little energy to spare. Even her hold on him with Buffer Overflow was approaching strain. She needed something or someone to break. It just might be her.

Re: Standard Match: Oscar Orelash vs Spectre — Princes and Ninjas
Oscar gave no response to Spectre's poison as he continued to strenuously drag himself to the ropes- paying no mind to anything else as black spots started forming in his eyes. A result from Spectre cranking up the pressure on the submission hold. Oscar reached out to grab a rope... but his hand never grasped it. Oscar's arm trembled and his eyes fluttered as the lack of oxygen was taking affect.
"Just a little more... almost... almost... don't give in..
Don't... don't..."
Those were the only words to roll through Oscar's mind as everything soon faded to black, letting out a choked and exhausted sigh as his extended arm went limp- his eyes closing as he rested on his knees. The ref ran in to check on Oscar- raising his arm and letting it fall to determine if he was KOed or not. Much to the disapproval of the crowd.
"ONE..."
"TWO..."

Re: Standard Match: Oscar Orelash vs Spectre — Princes and Ninjas
The crowd’s heart sank as Oscar did.
Gone. Out.
They really wanted to believe this wasn’t it. Front row’ers uncomfortably stood, moved in their seats, leaned forward and broke a sweat. Come on, Oscar. Come on…
And what would they do? Chant? Shout? -- The count was at two and everyone was helpless to watch. But then. Spectre broke the count. She placed a hand on the referee’s chest, shoved them back with a tired arm to stop the third count. Then she released the hold, let his arm free, uncinched her leg from around his throat and withdrew the leg folded behind his thigh.
She got off him, then tipped him to his back using her shoulder and bodyweight. The SPLAT made an echo and a gasp from fans everywhere. The referee got up in Spectre’s face, putting a finger near the cyberninja's collar, “Just what do you think you’re doing putting hands on me again?! Do you want to throw this match away?!”
Then Spectre replied calmly, staring back. “To who? A corpse?”
She placed her boot on Oscar’s chest. “Count.”
And to the referee’s grumblings, they dropped down to make the count. Spectre watched, tilting her head, waiting to see if Oscar would wake up. If not just to see how he ended up.
“ONE!”
“TWO!”

Re: Standard Match: Oscar Orelash vs Spectre — Princes and Ninjas
Oscar was released from the hold but it didn't matter. The Barbarian Prince was unconscious- passed out from being choked out by Spectre's legs. Upon being released, Oscar's limp body was pushed onto its back- the sweat he was covered in making more of a splat than a thud as Spectre planted her boot on his bare chest. To go for the pinfall- earning boos from the crowd for disrespecting their fan-favorite by essentially going for a submission KO AND a pinfall. As much as some hoped that Oscar would kick out- to explode back to life and whoop Spectre's ass, that didn't seem to be the case as the ref yelled:
"THREE!!"
Recovering the bell after Spectre's assault on Oscar with it, it was rung to announce the end of the match- and name Spectre as the winner over a chorus of booing. Oscar slowly stirred back to life as well, groaning softly as he managed to slowly open an eye- his chest rising and falling as he looked up at Spectre with a disappointed look. Weither it was disappointed he held toward Spectre for cheating or for himself because of the loss was up to debate.

Re: Standard Match: Oscar Orelash vs Spectre — Princes and Ninjas
The count of three was golden.
Her shoulders immediately felt release once she got it. She wanted to float. Her chin was down, gaze still locked at Oscar, her arms limp. Sweat dripped off her middle finger-tip. Drop. Drop. Drop. And the wave of shouts and anger can only make her feel better. But seeing Oscar once again was a better medicine than all of that. She drank this look in. And once she had enough, she let him go.
After stepping off him, Spectre turned around, walked a few steps, then stumbled. She caught herself, put a hand on her gut, straightened up and pushed forward again. Slow and deliberate, tired and tough.
She went to the corner, climbed up it slower than normal and surmounted every obstacle one-by-one until she seated the top turnbuckle pad. Then she got up, slowly, to reach and snatch the metal hook lowered and waiting for her. She stood on the metal hook, held the cable and balanced on a wobbly leg.
Into the rafters she goes.
