The stomp landed right where she wanted it and Laura was planning to deliver the next but before she could get as far, Yumie managed to get her other leg up and with a swift motion force sent it flying right under Laura's chin. The saving grace for the blond was that the kick was sent from a prone position, sending her stumbling and falling onto her ass when were it to be made from standing it might have well taken her head right off!

Still, the risk-reward calculation came out positive as her move should at least hinder Yumie's movement, hopefully putting them on more of an even footing going forward. For now, all she could do was to scoot further away from the other woman, getting some space before getting back up and preparing for their following engagement

Yumie breathed a sigh or relief watching the woman stumble away before falling to the mat due to her kick. Yumie's leg certainly was hurting but she couldn't let it hold her back seeing her opponent scootching away Yumie did the same until she was in her corner using the ropes to pull herself up before briefly limping on the leg that Laura had targeted so much in the several past minutes. Yumie sighed and stepped forward her leg clearly bothering her but she motioned for Laura to come at her before putting her arms up ready to reengage.

Laura rubbed her jaw, the impact from a few seconds still ached both there and through her skull as a whole as a nasty headache settled in, not that she could do much about it, nor was it the first time, the headache if anything would likely get much, much worse as the fight went on. And just as she thought so, her opponent seemed to be ready to resume their fight, even beckoning her forward instead of going on the offence.

Laura would not turn the offer of another lockup away, especially since it was a great way for her to test something. Most of the strength needed to push in a contest like this came from the legs and with the explicit targeting of one of Yumi's shed try to gage how much did that make up for their initial strength difference now as she'd try to push the silver-haired woman back to the ropes!

Yumie knew legs were one of the most important things to protect into a match, if you couldn't stand you couldn't exactly fight and she would need to protect her legs better going forward. As Yumie locked up with Laura she ended up giving up a few steps, clearly Laura's plan of targeting the Japanese woman's leg had the intended effect but Yumie was tired of playing second fiddle to Laura and went with plan B before she could be pushed up against the ropes. Hopping up Yumie would attempt to press her feet onto Laura's hips before throwing her weight back and sending Laura into the ropes with a monkey flip! If successful Yumie would limp back to her feet before turning and facing Laura once again deciding on where to go from there.

Laura was more than happy to see her plan work as she managed to push the larger woman back, there was something oddly satisfying in pulling something like that off but Yumie certainly did not seem as pleased with that fact. After getting pushed a few steps, she'd go down on her back, pulling Laura with her "Wo-whoa!" She'd let out on her way down before getting thrown through the air with a monkey flip in a maneuver very similar to her own from the beginning of the fight.

"Ghua" She'd let out, landing next to the ropes, ass over tea kettle with her lower half supported by the ropes themselves before she'd slide down and start slowly picking herself back up. "Learning from the best, are we?" She joked to her opponent at how they both settled for the same strategy when pushed back.

Had her opponent used the move at the start of the match? Yeah. Did it mean she owned the move? Nope. Did it mean that Yumie could do the move even better perhaps. After giving up ground Yumie made up for things with a monkey flip that sent of opponent overhead and landing with a small thud groan! Once Yumie pushed back up to her feet she turned to see the woman's lower half sliding down off the ropes like a raindrop on a window before the woman started to get back up. "If we're doing that... you better watch and learn!" Yumie replied to her opponent's comment before rushing at her.

Yumie would leap up a bit attempting to catch her opponent between her legs before throwing her weight to the ground to slam her head into the ground with a leg scissor DDT of sorts!

Laura was slowly making her way back up to her feet when she heard Yumie's reply and smirked, whatever reply she had in mind would have to remain there for the moment however as before she even had a chance to open her lips, her opponent was already upon her. Her head clutched between the woman's mighty thighs, she was soon brought back down to the ground, the top of her head nigh on breaking the ring floor as fell. A slight whimper escaped her lips as she clawed at the top of her head in agony, slowly trying to scoot away from Yumie as if she had any real hope of escape.

Yumie's attack couldn't have went any better if it was scripted as her opponent's head was slammed into the canvas, the move clearly rattling her opponent instantly as the woman was quick to grab her own head while trying to squirm away, Rolling away and getting up onto her hands and knees Yumie smiled. "Where did you think your going?" Yumie teased leaping to her feet before stomping on the back of Laura's knee. "I think its time we got even don't you?" Yumie would continue to tease before grabbing Laura by the ankle raising her own leg right above it before attempting to painfully drive it back down stomping and slamming the woman's knee onto the ring floor at the same time.

Laura was given no breathing room as Yumie managed to get on top of her once again and stomp the back of her knee, stopping any movement the blond might have planned. "Khyaaa!" She'd cry in pain as her leg was grabbed for et another stomp to be delivered "Ghhhhha!" She'd screamed once more but this time ready to throw some sand into the gears of Yumie's plan!

She'd extend her free leg between that of her opponent's, grabbing her ankle before rolling on the ground to sweep her opponent off her feet with an improvised imanari roll! if she could do that, she'd then grab a hold of the white-haired woman's shin and while squeezing down on her thighs with her legs, she'd try to overextend her knee by applying a knee bar!

Yumie was more than ready to put Laura through as much hell as she needed to win but Laura clearly was still more than ready to fight back as she grabbed the Japanese woman's ankle and rolling on the mat, pulling and tripping Yumie down to the canvas! Laura wasn't done yet though as she quickly trapped Yumie in another agonizing hold working over her leg again. Yumie cried out and squirmed in pain as Laura locked in her kneebar! Glancing back Yumie desperately reached over her head towards the ropes trying to reach them, only for them not to be in range. Sliding her arms back down Yumie clenched her teeth in pain trying to use her arms and free leg to drag herself and her opponent closer and closer to the ropes, agonizing inch, by agonizing inch!
