Cecilia Lombard vs. Megumi Mutoh

Although the blows to her head had left Cecilia in a daze, she didn't have much time to react before Megumi grabbed a hold of her head and wrenched her back up to her feet. Cecilia's legs trembled and stumbled blindly under her as she tried to find her footing, not having the time to come to her senses naturally. But she wouldn't have much time for that either.

Still adjusting to the damage she had already taken, Cecilia couldn't put up much of a defense as Megumi's forearm slammed straight into her head, sending her stumbling over and clutching her temple. Her head rang out in pain, the ache throbbing through her skull. Her thoughts went fuzzy, and was only able to barely catch herself reeling and keep her balance. But by the time Cecilia had gotten herself composed enough to look back out at Megumi, the Japanese woman was already sending a spinning kick right for her.

The girl's head cracked to the side as she went spinning back on her ankle, whipped around by the raw force of the blow. Cecilia cried out in pain from the shot, landing squarely on a part of her head already softened up from the blows she had taken. Finally, she dropped straight onto her stomach with the force of a ton of bricks, at Megumi's mercy.

Just as expected, right after landing the spinning kick right to the side of Cecilia's head, she fell down onto the mat. Going through the motion of her kick, Megumi twisted around before planting her feet on the mat so that she could finally catch her breath. Now give a room to recover, she could finally think of what to do next.

But first, she needed to vent her anger a little as she would give Cecilia's body a stomp. "Sucker punch me again, why don't you?" Megumi grumbled before she bent down in order to yank her opponent up, bringing her back on her feet. To ensure that Cecilia would have no room to recover, Megumi would deliver a forearm smash right into the side of her face, hoping to stun her.

Right after that, she planned to send her running towards the corner with an Irish whip, sending her towards the turnbuckle in preparation for her next move.

The tables were turned now, and it was Cecilia's turn to take the brunt of the punishment. Megumi was, unsurprisingly, less than pleased with how she had suffered under Cecilia, and that was coming across quite clearly as she gave a stomp down on Cecilia's back. The impact of the former Wrestle Angel's boot sent a shiver down Cecilia's spine as she winced from the pain, a pain she didn't even have much time to recover from as Megumi grabbed her arm and pulled her back up before delivering another strike to the side of her head. Things were starting to go blurry for her now, and she couldn't tell which way was up. She didn't dare think of what might happen if she kept taking damage like this.

Not that Cecilia had much time to think anyway, as the next thing she knew she was being catapulted across the ring and straight towards the turnbuckle. It was only barely that Cecilia managed to catch herself, and that was only after her chest slammed straight into the post, causing her to let out a shuddering groan. Cecilia slumped forward, her arms resting over the ropes as she bent at the knees, panting to try and regain her strength.

Sending Cecilia towards the turnbuckle with the Irish whip, Megumi prepared herself to launch her next attack. First, she would raise her arms before pointing the forefingers of both her hands at her opponent. It was a gesture to get a reaction out of the crowd, and sure enough, the arena was shaken from the loud cheers from the audience.

"Here we go!!"

And then, she would start running towards Cecilia, rushing over to her before leaping up, going for a running dropkick aimed at the back of her opponent, looking to crush her between her boots and the turnbuckle. This attack would no doubt deal more damage on Cecilia, giving Megumi more opportunity to gain an upper hand in this match.

Winded as she was from the impact, Cecilia hardly had it in her to look behind her at what Megumi was doing, let alone prepare for it. So it should go without saying that Megumi didn't have much trouble running up right behind the American and delivering a hard kick to her back, further buckling Cecilia forward. Her already shaking legs giving out from under her, the younger woman fell to her knees as she was thrown forward into the post, making a loud clang as her head and chest absorbed most of the impact. Cecilia screamed at the top of her lungs, actually leaving her throat ragged. She wasn't enjoying where this was going.

This was bad, Cecilia thought to herself. She might have been getting off to an impressive lead, but Megumi had not only managed to take that momentum from her, she was going at it hard, meeting Cecilia with her full strength. She had to get out of this and fast, Cecilia thought to herself; she wouldn't dare imagine what Megumi could do to her if she had free reign, if this was any indication. But right now, the blow had left her thoroughly stunned, and she was hardly in any place to react, her head swimming and her temples pounding.

Right after landing the dropkick, Megumi landed on her back, and she quickly got back up to look at Cecilia. Seeing this as her opportunity to go for another move, she went over to her, grabbing her by her head and arm so that she could pull her along as she climbed up the turnbuckle. From the look of it, Megumi seemed to be going for a big move as she would try to have Cecilia seated at the top turnbuckle, while Megumi was standing right in front of her.

"And down you go!!" From her position, Megumi would try to leap up and clamp Cecilia's head between her legs as she would try to flip over, throwing her opponent off of the turnbuckle with a vicious-looking frankensteiner! It would be such a picturesque-looking frankensteiner that the crowd would cheer at such an impressive display of athleticism from the former Wrestle Angel.

Still reeling from the blows she had taken, Cecilia was heavy in Megumi's clutches as she was hauled up along the turnbuckle, her body dragged against its cold, unforgiving surface. Cecilia was still coming back to her senses as she ended up at the top of the turnbuckle, but from where she was, and the way the crowd was cheering, she knew full well that it wasn't a position she would enjoy being in.

Megumi locked her legs around Cecilia's head, and with another move the two of them went sailing back through the air, turning head over heels as the younger woman was slung back to land with a resounding thud that shook the canvas. Cecilia coughed and gasped under Megumi - she wasn't in the best shape already, and that landing had winded her further. The very fact that she had gotten to be in this position, so thoroughly at the mercy of her opponent, was unthinkable. It disgusted her, and the way the crowd was just eating it up only added insult to injury. She was better than this! The crowd should be worshiping her - no, it was Megumi who should be! Cecilia snarled through her teeth at the thought of it. Even if she was groggy from the damage she took, she would have to punish her opponent for this.

With her current strength, and with Megumi still pressing down on her, there wasn't much that Cecilia could do. But there was still something that wouldn't even require much effort to achieve pain. Reaching up to where Megumi's legs held her head, Cecilia gripped them tight and, while she worked on prying her opponent's grip free, she dug her nails tightly into Megumi's flesh in a claw attack! It was one of her favorites, requiring little exertion on her part, but still providing plenty of pain, and it was applicable to most situations, as well as often taking an opponent by surprise. The perfect tool, she thought.

Bringing Cecilia down into the mat from the turnbuckle with the frankensteiner, Megumi would remain on top of her, catching her breath before she could move on to her next move. She figured that at this point, Cecilia posed no threat to her, and she could go at it at her leisure without worrying about her opponent retaliating.

She was proven wrong when she suddenly felt sharp pain in her thighs as Cecilia dug her nails into her flesh. "Nnghhh!!" While it didn't hurt much, it broke her concentration, and this forced her to get back up, getting herself off of her opponent, hissing from the pain. "Tch... what a nasty girl..." she grumbled as she would distance herself from Cecilia. She had to think of some other plan to keep up with her momentum at this rate.

It may not have hurt Megumi much, but Cecilia's move had succeeded at one thing, and tat was what she was hoping for to begin with - getting the ex-Wrestle Angel off of her. Now in a less precarious position relative to her opponent, she could better put her plans into action. And first things first, she thought, Megumi would have to be punished for such a shocking display of disrespect. Cecilia would have none of that.

Megumi got up, and soon Cecilia followed, dusting herself off. She had taken a lot of blows to the head, and she was sore all over her body from the many bumps she had been at the recieving end of. She wasn't going to pretend that she would be performing at her full strength. But she had to do something, she knew that as much. Glaring down at Megumi, Cecilia began to make her advance back towards her. As she came in close, she threw a few feints at her face, trying to catch her off guard and seeing if she could break the Japanese woman's composure, lining her up for a better shot. If that would work, Cecilia would proceed to throw a hard kick straight into her stomach while she went to protect her head instead.

Distancing herself from Cecilia, Megumi saw her opponent coming towards her with the intention to attack. Seeing her coming with an attack, Megumi prepared her defense to counter whatever Cecilia would throw at her. It looked like she was trying to throw some feints at her face, and Megumi could see that as she did no effort to actually block them, knowing that they were mere feints. But her eyes were focused on the feints that she almost missed the kick that Cecilia aimed at her belly, and she gasped when she took the kick into her stomach.

"Guuhhff!!" Doubling over, Megumi grimaced in pain. Cecilia had brought up her arms to protect her head, so she couldn't counter by targeting her head. Still, there were a few options open for her, so instead of distancing herself from Cecilia, she would try to grab her by her leg so that she could try to twist it, looking to send her tumbling down into the mat with a dragon screw takedown.
