Ireland Against the Jungle: Maya Fowler [d] vs. Cathy

Cathy rose to her feet at Maya's invitation. Clearly there was a lot of fight left before Cathy was finished. She wasted no time in throwing a right hook that Maya would slide to one side to avoid while throwing her own counter. Maya would in turn move forward and throw an uppercut looking to land a hard body shot into Cathy's stomach. Perhaps a striking battle would be the way to weaken the jungle girl enough to lock in the finish!

Cathy has been been running on empty using her punch with not nearly as much energy as earlier which Maya saw coming as it seemed like it happened in slow motion to Cathy. Maya would dodge Cathy's punch which Cathy saw coming but her body could not react and counter with a hard hit to Cathy's gut "oooooofffhhrrahhhh"Cathy would gasp as the punch connected making her stumble and arch forward.

Cathy couldn't find her way out of the strike Maya threw and it landed solid into her gut. A solid strike into an unprepared stomach was enough to weaken even the toughest opponent and it was no different here. The strike doubled Cathy over presenting a perfect target for Maya to throw any number of maneuvers. Maya settled on something simple, but a effective. Maya would try to hook both of Cathy's arms behind her back and jump into the air. She would try and use gravity as an effective weapon and execute a pedigree on the vulnerable brunette.

Cathy was stumbling over after the solid hit to her gut from Maya. As Cathy was try to recover some air from the hit gave Maya the advantage as Maya grabs Cathy's arms behind her back and feels herself being jerked in the air then slams on the mat with a thud as her face bounces off the mat and Cathy does not move much completely dazed at Maya's legs.

The pedigree had worked perfectly as Cathy laid on the mat with little to no movement. However, Maya still needed to push just a little further to gain her final point of the match. Given that Cathy seemed so close to unconsciousness it seemed the best route to pursue. Since Cathy was right at Maya's legs, Maya would grab Cathy's shoulders to turn her over.

Once Cathy was on her back, Maya would pull the brunette into her lap before trying to lace her arm around the throat. Maya would look to lock in a very simple rear naked choke to seal the deal. The red head would place her legs on the inside of Cathy's thighs to prevent movement. If Cathy couldn't react fast or strong enough the choke would be locked in.

Cathy was dazed her head was ringing from bouncing off the mat. Cathy would roll over unaware that Maya was the one rolling her over. Then Cathy would lift up then notice to herself that she still in a match! As Cathy felt a soft pressing on her back and thighs Cathy realized what was happening but too late as Maya closed her arms and legs around Cathy. Cathy would weakly wiggle and try to bridge out.

Maya had managed to grab hold of Cathy and nearly completely lock in the rear naked choke before Cathy made any attempt at escape. However, her attempts came weakly and too late as Maya had an effective hold. Maya would tighten her arms around Cathy's neck as she pulled her hand behind the brunette's head and tucked it under the chin. This was the final step in locking in the rear naked choke. Maya squeezed tighter and tighter. "This is it!" Maya felt like her victory was a few moments away.

Cathy would feel Maya lock in her hold and her arms and legs squeeze Cathy. Cathy would let out squeaks as she lost air in Maya’s grip. Cathy would try to move but her body felt heavy as the choke took hold. Cathy refused to give up even as she let out a moan as Cathy was starting to feel good and light headed and barely move in Maya hold.

Even as Maya tightened up her grip and the choke became locked in there was little response from Cathy. She gave off a slight moan as the choke became more locked in, but it seemed like Cathy was not long for consciousness. Maya wanted to make sure she was able to take the win on her debut. She tucked her chin even tighter to lock her one hand behind Cathy's head, and tensed up her entire body. She wanted to ensure that this hold would bring an end to the match. "Keep a close eye on her ref!" Maya wanted to take the win, but didn't want to keep a hold on for longer than necessary.
