Next Generation: Ambre Brault vs Danica Donelle

Standard Match: Winner to be declared by pinfall, submission, or knockout

Danica and Vesper were both backstage preparing for her next solo match, a match against someone their mother had actually fought and beaten. Somebody with experience and skill relative to them, or at least that's what their mom had told them. Danica didn't really care too much but Vesper was taking the information a bit more seriously, thus he had insisted he come out with her tonight. Not that it was particularly different than usual for them but he felt he would actually be necessary for this. Whatever, not that Danica cared, she was confident she could beat this Ambre.

As her entrance music played Danica along with Vesper both got up and headed towards the entrance ramp, coming out and posing together to a chorus of boos at the two's arrival, their heel antics not doing either very much favors when it came to how the crowd perceived them, not that either of them cared for that crowd's approval much to begin with.

Strutting down the ramp together and playing up the hate they got from the crowd Danica and Vesper both would hop up on the ring apron and turn, making one more pose for the crowd before Vesper hopped back down to the floor while Danica threw her leg up over the rope and slipped between the gap and into the ring fully. Climbing up the corner and she would hold her arms out to garner the boos of the crowd before hopping back down to the ring and turning to the entrance ramp, waiting for Ambre to come down, determined to finish the job their mother had started.

Tonight, Ambre was going to face a woman she knew slightly, Lydia Donelle's daughter, Danica. Ambre may have lost to Lydia a few months ago due to her lack of stamina, but she had greatly improved since then. She was able to hold her own against powerful wrestlers and continued to improve today, both physically and technically. Tonight, she was ready to beat Danica and ask Lydia for a rematch to take her revenge and show that she was superior!

She appeared on stage accompanied by her theme, smiling at the audience as usual while greeting them with a cheerful air. The fans of the Black Pearl multiplied and many people cherished her tonight, it was rather surprising for the Frenchwoman but it warmed her heart. She walked to the ring and climbed onto her corner, raising both arms to salute the audience one last time before her music stopped and she found herself standing on the canvas.

She looked into Danica's eyes, smiling slightly awkwardly as she didn't really know how to present herself to a heel. She also noticed a second person outside the ring waiting on Darina's corner... This reminded her of bad memories against Mama Bear where her opponent and her boyfriend started attacking her together. But this time, the Black Pearl didn't fear anything or anyone and didn't have to treat Danica differently because she had already faced her mother or because she was a heel!

She moved closer to the center of the ring, facing her opponent while continuing to look her in the eyes and extending her hand forward for a friendly wristlock.

"Nice to meet you Miss Donelle! May the best one win!"

Watching as the music of her opponent turned on followed by Ambre coming out Danica would be greeted with the full view and appearance of her opponent. Genuinely the woman was pretty impressive from a physical standpoint, boasting large muscles, some of which shown out naturally like her biceps, others like her quads and thighs bulging through the fabric of her attire. Intimidating to anyone else, but not too Danica in the slightest. After all her mother had beaten the brunette and Dani was confident that she could do the same and if worst came to worst she had her brother outside the ring to back her up should it be necessary.

Watching as the girl came down the ramp and entered the ring Danica's look would slowly turn more dour and serious. She was confident but she wasn't foolish, Ambre wasn't looking quite as confident, maybe a result of her mother being the one to beat her before, or maybe she was just awkward, Danica didn't know or care. But she did know that she'd probably be looking for the best in her, a flaw that her mother had shared with her.

Seeing as how Ambre extended her hand out it was a flaw she still had, and Danica could exploit that now.. But it'd be playing an important card early. So instead Danica would reach out, grasping onto Ambre's hand and shaking it. "Trust me, I intend to." Danica said tersely, shaking Ambre's hand before pushing it down and stepping back, preparing for the bout ahead of her.

The two wrestlers shook hands while looking into each other's eyes and, strangely, Danica didn't seem to be planning any surprise moves. It was reassuring but also strange, did Danica underestimate the Frenchwoman because she had lost against her mother a few months earlier?... Ambre didn't know and didn't try to think about it more than that, Her goal tonight was to show that she became stronger, no matter who she faced.

Following this wristlock, Ambre returned to her corner and waited patiently for the referee to start the match. She continued to look at her opponent while stretching, Danica was less muscular than her but she was much taller than her... But that didn't impress the Black Pearl, she had already been able to defeat bigger and bigger and stronger wrestlers... A few seconds passed before the bell rang, launching the start of this match.

DING

The Black Pearl did not waste a single second in throwing herself at her opponent at full speed. Normally, the Frenchwoman would go for a test of strength to show that she was the strongest but this time, she had nothing to prove since she defeated Astrid Ostberg in this duel and finished in a tie against Alaina . She would simply charge forward and raise her arm to perform a lariat across Danica's chest for an explosive start to the match.

Starting a match off fairly with a simple handshake was not within Danica's normal repertoire, as she'd usually much prefer starting off with a cheap trick or sucker punch across the jaw. In this case however Danica wanted to save such a move for later in the match when it would be its most useful. Stepping away after the hand shake Danica would put her hands up, readying herself back a bit as she waited for the bell to ring, figuring someone with something to prove like Ambre would make the first attempt at an attack. Sure enough the black pearl came running, arm lifted up for a lariat! Smirking at this Danica would duck down to avoid the arm but if successful, turn while grabbing it as well as hooking Ambre's head, turning sharply before dropping down to put the woman's neck through a sharp jolt of pain with a sudden neck breaker!

Ambre threw herself at Danica at full speed as soon as the match started and wanted an explosive start by putting her opponent on the ground in the first seconds of the match... But she couldn't do it. Danica was much taller than Ambre and yet she dodged the Frenchwoman's lariat by ducking before starting to attack the Frenchwoman by grabbing her by the head with both arms.

But Ambre was not the type to let it happen and even if she was initially surprised by such a dodge, she quickly regained her composure and raised her arms to grab her opponent's wrists and push them to the side, looking for to free yourself from this quick headlock then quickly distance herself before putting herself on guard.

Recognizing that Ambre wanted to start things off hot Danica was looking to punish her for doing so, trying to catch her off guard by ducking under the intended lariat and trying to go for a neck breaker on the woman. Unfortunately however Ambre's strength was no joke and she managed to push off Danica's arm as a result, breaking her attempted counter. 'Damn.' Danica thought to herself, forced to turn around and look at her opponent. Raising her arm as if going for a lariat of her own Danica would instead swing her leg upwards at the last moment, trying to catch Ambre off guard with a kick to the gut!

Ambre stepped back and stood on guard, raising both her arms to protect her face when she saw that Danica raised hers to strike her. She looked closely at her opponent with great concentration before taking a kick to her stomach, making her sigh softly in pain and nothing more. The Black Pearl had enormously trained her resistance and especially her abs, she had to be able to resist the best blows if she wanted to be an unbreakable jewel.

She quickly sucked in air and raised her arm slightly and used her hips to slightly turn to the side to counter attack using her Ambre's Chop. She straightened up in an instant and threw her arm forward to slam it against Danica's chest, trying to show that the difference in strength between the two wrestlers was more impressive.

Danica narrowed her eyes a bit as her attempted kick against Ambre's body did not seem to do the level of effect that she wanted, seeming to be more of a inconvenience than anything. Made worse as her opponent came right back around, swiveling her arm up and chopping Danica across the chest!

"Ugh!" Danica hissed out as she was sent stumbling backwards into the ropes, holding her chest with a glare on her face as she watched Ambre's body, looking for any openings. Pushing off the ropes she would circle Ambre, waiting for her to make the first move this time, knowing now that playing defensively would be her best bet for the time being.

Unlike her mother, Danica was a little less powerful and experienced. She could say it after this little exchange of blows and holds, physically Ambre was more resistant and powerful but Danica was faster and had better reflexes... The Frenchwoman had perhaps won this first exchange but Danica's look looked like much like Lydia's, we had to remain suspicious.

She remained slightly on her guard and moved towards her opponent, raising her hands slightly, attacking a person in defense was the worst thing to do if you didn't know what your opponent was capable of, so the Black Pearl decided to fight slowly by offering a test of strength to Danica by looking into her eyes and stretching her arms forward.
