A young woman sat at the edge of a large room, illuminated by a soft glow of a crystal chandelier above, the sun was just nearing its sunset and so too her profile was illuminated through a large window facing to the west. She picked the hour and the table specifically, going out of her way to arrange this exactly as she wanted, it wasn't easy or cheap but given the reason why she was here, it was well worth the effort. Still, for all the preparation, she was still nervous. She was well aware she should not, this had been going on for nearly a year and by this point, she should have grown used to it all but this setting was new and she was not sure if it was the source of her nerves or if it was something else. Still, there she was, dressed in a dress that up until it was fully on seemed too small for her and sticking out among the fine patrons of this restaurant like a sore thumb with both her frame and purple hair, at least she would not be alone in that for too long.
She came early of course, running late on this day of them all was too terrifying a prospect to not be here way in advance and it seemed everybody noticed her nervousness, a few members of the staff offering some warm words as they went about their business, trying to make her more comfortable while she waited for the guest of the hour to arrive. As the hour drew near, she frantically checked if everything was in place, checked if her dress was sitting well on her and tried to check in the mirror if her hair was in order. Somehow despite the career she chose, moments like this were the most stressful ones. There was nothing left now however and she looked to the entrance eagerly!
