"Ghyyya" Kate was suddenly stopped in her tracks by an altogether too familiar sensation, a pain coming up between her legs and spreading through her body, making her legs shake as she stumbled forward to clinch up with Mindy. It did not have as dramatic of an effect as the first time, now with adrenalin dulling the pain but still, it put a sudden stop to Kate's advance.

With Mindy up close now, Kate would let out a groan, getting her hands behind the woman but not before Mindy's fist crashed against her ribs "Ugh" With another groan forced out of her lips, she'd grab the other woman tighter one arm going to her back while the other went down to her leg. "Too can play that game bitch!" She'd let out in frustration as she'd trap the woman in her grasp before lifting her up for an inverted atomic drop straight to the movie star's crotch!

Mindy was pulling Kate close to start punishing her with more direct hits, the knee was the first one to make Kate settle against her after the hard shot. She could start to pull her in close so that she could follow it up with the liver shots that would bring Kate down more. She only got one when Kate grabbed her, her resilience defying human logic to lift her up and go for an atomic drop that brought Mindy down on Kate's knee.

"Yaeeagh!" Mindy screamed jumping off Kate's knee and falling back until she fell down to one knee, her hands between her legs. The former actress was taken aback by the sudden move and drop that it halted her from going for any more punches right when she thought she had a clear opening to really hurt Kate.

Running on pure anger and adrenalin allowed Kate to stay up after the last few blows from Mindy, though she was certainly far from happy with how things were going, not even as far as her chances but just how infuriating her opponent was and now that she had her reeling from the atomic drop, she'd use every ounce of the opening it offered. Stepping forward, she'd reap the woman's arms from where she reached after receiving the blow to then pull her forward and attempt to slam her knee square to her opponent's face, releasing her grip to let her fall back.

If she'd manage to get that far, she'd try to immediately go after Mindy's leg to repay the favour from earlier by traping her foot under her armpit and locking in a figure four around her thigh before rotating her upper and lower body in opposite directions to threaten both her knee and angle to ripped out of the socket with a heel hook and whiles in different circumstances she might put on pressure slowly, this time she was not about to give the actress any time!

Mindy's stumbling put her off balance, in close proximity to an angry Kate which she knew was a bad thing to feel or deal with. Kate was quick to punish her by grabbing her hand to stop her from falling down or back and brought her in close while raising a knee to catch her face when she was pulled in. "Gguhh!" Mindy screamed jumping back and almost falling down. Before she could even get that far Kate was on her again, grabbing a foot and making her drop down to the mat so that she could twist it across her and trap it in a heel hook.

"Aaaaggggh!" Mindy screamed, flailing on the mat trying in vain to get her leg free. She slowly felt the pressure increase and threaten to pop her kneecap or bend her foot too far if she didn't do something but for the moment she was only able to shake her head and push against Kate to try and get free, she couldn't let herself submit to this lesser woman.

Kate had the hold secure and judging by the immediate effect, very successfully so. Still, despite audible proof that the hold was getting ever closer to its conclusion and little in way of Mindy's attempt at escape, the woman remained stubborn and refused to tap. If it was someone else, or even if this fight went on without the everpresent taunting from the actress, Kate might have found that tenacity commendable and certainly, the woman would not be in as much of a danger even in that same hold. How Kate would judge what was happening now would be simply idiotic.

"Tap you idiot! Or do you want your leg broken!?" She'd call out to her opponent, still despite her anger giving her a moment to save herself before she'd lean further back and continue to twist the limb in a way it was never meant nor capable of moving.

Tapping out was never an option for Mindy, she was going to keep fighting to deny Kate the unfair win that the rookie didn't deserve. She'd dealt with pain and would reach out to Kate's leg to try and pull it to make things easier for her to escape then would attempt to turn and get into a position that didn't let Kate maximize the extent at which she was hyperextending her leg in that hold to give her a little more time to fight.

"You don't have...the grit...to break my leg!" Mindy spat, stubborn in her fight to escape. If she could continue she would try to bring her free leg up and attempt to kick or stomp on Kate wherever she could, mixing that with her fight to escape until she could find some kind of way to slip out of the rookie's grasp.

With her leg being pulled loose and the words of her opponent, Kate would transition the hold to another variation, putting her foot on Mindy's hip and squeezing from the opposite direction. That would allow her upper and lower body to move more independently and put more pressure on the hold that her opponent was trying her best to resist. She would not however respond to the actress's comment, simply keeping eye contact with her, her gaze showing that she was past hesitation.

The transition in the hold however had its drawbacks, more force to be applied came with less security and once Mindy started sending stomps at Kate, though she'd withstand a few, eventually one of them would hit the elbow of the arm she used to support the main arm, actually trapping the woman's leg. "Tsss!" She'd hiss as the hold she had was broken, with Mindy already pulling her leg back, it was beyond salvage and so, Kate would also withdraw, hoping to get to her feet before Mindy could.

The actress continued to fight and stomp on Kate until she felt the rookie giving up on the hold, she'd slowly gotten her foot free and finally got the last of it when Kate let go after a kick. She quickly pulled her leg out of reach of being grabbed again and would do a quick roll to get more space, once she was sure Kate wouldn't attack Mindy would try to get back up to her feet. She didn't care about speed, and needed to make sure her leg was fine enough to keep fighting before she could continue.

"Any more foolish doubts? Or do you cling to the delusion that you can make me knee?" Mindy said, proving that she was fine by stomping around her side of the ring, the leg was a little uncomfortable and hurt, but she was nowhere close to being one legged. "Unless you want to suffer longer I'd suggest you'd leave before I get spiteful." Mindy said actually waving Kate off as if she could dismiss her.

Getting to her feet, Kate carefully watched how Mindy got up and though she'd make sure to make a show of how the hold did nothing to her Kate knew how to spot the little tells that it at least had some impact and she couldn't help but smirk slightly, now they were even. Still, it did nothing to stop the actress from running her mouth, at this point, there was little place to get more of a fire out of Kate, she sure as hell couldn't wait to stomp that woman nice and flat into the ground.

"Oh, please do! I might at least get a bit of a workout that way." Kate shot back, knowing she'd have to at least to some extent play her opponent's own game here as she'd approach. When she got in range, she'd then fire of a kick aimed low, targeting the knee she just tried ripping open moments ago, or at least that's what she hoped Mindy expected given how she kept underestimating her. When the first sign of committing to defence low would appear however Kate would stop the movement, draw slightly back and sending her leg up would aim for Mindy's head with a question mark kick!

Mindy was preparing for the next move, her words tempting Kate to take action and get the rookie to attack. Despite trying to dismiss her taunts that's exactly what she did and she came at Mindy ready to take her down. Mindy prepared herself and even moved in ready to attack when she saw Kate going for a kick to her leg, which she knew she needed to be ready to stop. Then she saw Kate pull her leg back, giving her only a second to realize the misdirection before she had to quickly draw back to avoid taking one brutal kick to her precious jaw.

Mindy felt the painful intent from the wind that came by as the kick came really close to sending her to a long nap. Mindy fell back into the ropes that ended up bouncing her back towards the girl who just tried to kick her head off, and left her with no choice but to go for another attack. This time she would try to catch Kate with an STO before she could get away from her.
