Re: KINGS & QUEENS ( QF ) — Oscar Orelash vs Audrey Trovita
Breathing was becoming more difficult the longer Audrey was trapped in the corner. Oscar had the muscle to simply hold her there all night if he wanted - but that wouldn't make for an entertaining show, now, would it? ...Well, that, and she wanted the discomfort to stop, too. So, Audrey offered him a deal.
And he took it. Oscar moved away, pulling her from the post. He even let go of her arm. She held on another moment longer, just to make sure he wasn't about to smash her back in again, but once it was clear he wasn't, she held up her end of the bargain, letting go of his throat and dropping back to her feet. Let it never be said that she didn't honor her agreements!
Guts were one thing, and it was nice to hear someone speak positively about her abilities for a change. Now she just had to make use of it. She still took the chance to slip around him and create some distance, though. They weren't here to be chummy with each other.
For a moment, she was disarmed by his follow-up comments, but quickly sunk back into her own defensive posture with a bit of a grimace. The answer was that she was quick to panic when she got in trouble, but she wasn't about to tell him that. "Bad luck and dishonorable opponents," she said instead. "Mostly."
She began to circle, mirroring Oscar's movements, and decided she may as well own up to some of her own faults. After all, not all of her losses had come at the hands of scum like Caesar, and it wouldn't do to disrespect the ones who beat her fairly. "Truthfully, I've never had any guided training. Been my own teacher." She shrugged, hoping that would be enough of an explanation. She didn't need, nor want, to get into the... dirty, embarrassing, or humiliating details.
Besides, tonight, none of that mattered. This was a different kind of match.
Ah, but now she was letting him distract her! She had to focus. He hadn't made a move to attack once he let her free of the corner, which meant he was probably waiting to see how she'd proceed. She probably shouldn't waste that chance. But she also shouldn't just rush in without thinking - that was how she defeated herself.
Maybe a few hit-and-run strikes were the play here. Get a feel for how he moved and reacted before she tried to fold him up again. Audrey darted forwards, then sprang into a handstand position, letting her momentum carry her legs forward as she aimed a shoe at his face! Given his height, she'd probably kick him in the chest instead, but that was fine, it didn't matter where it landed. If it did, she'd use the impact to reverse her own momentum and flip backwards onto her feet again, taking only a moment to observe Oscar, and whether or not he'd be staggered enough for her to lunge at him...

Re: KINGS & QUEENS ( QF ) — Oscar Orelash vs Audrey Trovita
Audrey's answer wasn't one that Oscar really expected from her. Luck always had a hand in matches- and cheaters were a whole other issue. But to learn that Audrey never had any formal training...? Like- at ALL!? What on earth was Audrey doing in a champion tournament then!? If Audrey had a solid win rate, then he could definitely see that- but no, Audrey's record was less than ideal and she lacked proper training. The answer actually stunned Oscar for a moment with visible shock resting as plain as day on his face- unintentionally leaving him open!
Oscar was barely able to react in time as he clocked back into the match- planting his feet onto the canvas and making an X with his arms to block the incoming attack. The kick would barely make Oscar take a step back as he watched Audrey stick the landing- looking to strike back my pushing himself forward before suddenly dropping low to try and knock Audrey off her feet with a leg sweep!

Re: KINGS & QUEENS ( QF ) — Oscar Orelash vs Audrey Trovita
Audrey had intended to stun Oscar with her kick, but it seemed as though her answer to his question had done that already. It was true; she'd tried to emulate her influencers, attempting to copy their favored moves and trying to teach herself how to perform them, but that was the extent of her mentorship. In the back of her mind, she'd tucked Oscar's compliment on her natural talent into a cozy corner with a blanket. Win or lose, it was comforting to know that another professional saw promise in her; that alone would help fuel her to keep trying, and she'd knew she'd keep coming back to that for a while after this.
Unfortunately for her, once Audrey started focusing on how to attack back, she was no longer paying attention to his face, and missed him snapping back to attention. She'd only just barely caught a glimpse of Oscar's arms in an X shape and realized her attack had been blocked before he was coming at her. She hadn't fully recovered her balance yet when Oscar kicked her legs out from underneath her, drawing out a quick "eep!", and gravity pulled her to the mat.
On the bright side, all the abuse she'd taken in her previous matches helped her endure the weaker collisions like this. Slams hurt, but while she'd still rather not crash her already injured back into the ground, this wouldn't immobilize her the way it used to.
With that considered, Oscar had plenty of follow-up options available to him while Audrey was prone on the ground. She had to be faster than him. The redhead attempted to roll sideways towards the ropes; it would be harder for him to grab her if she kept in-motion! Although it wouldn't stop him from simply jumping on her, she realized, but there wasn't much she could do about that except try to stay faster. She'd need to get back to her feet before she could even consider countering.

Re: KINGS & QUEENS ( QF ) — Oscar Orelash vs Audrey Trovita
Oscar watched Audrey try to roll her way to the ropes after being knocked off her feat. Grounding the plucky redhead seemed like the best way to deal with this hot-footed gal- but Oscar knew that if he wanted to rob Audrey of her momentum, he was going to have to do some sort of follow up- and that's just what he did!
Oscar gave chase to the rolling Audrey- the canvas shaking slightly as he ran towards her. If Oscar was quick enough, and he got to Audrey before she grabbed a rope, Oscar would leap upward and toss himself at his smaller oppenet- looking to interrupted Audrey by dropping a powerful elbow drop right onto her body!

Re: KINGS & QUEENS ( QF ) — Oscar Orelash vs Audrey Trovita
It was hard to say if rolling to the ropes had been a good idea. It certainly had been better than the alternative of not moving. Ultimately, it wouldn't matter; Audrey started off right at Oscar's feet, far too close to get very far before he caught up with her.
Which he did with relative ease. Audrey was so close to the ropes, on her stomach mid-roll, when suddenly a sharp pain struck her lower back! Her forward motion stopped instantly as the blow connected in the exact spot the turnbuckle had hit her earlier. The redhead cried out and her limbs stretched, mostly involuntary in reaction to the blow!
She reached for the nearby rope, finding it just out of reach, leaving her in a very bad spot!

Re: KINGS & QUEENS ( QF ) — Oscar Orelash vs Audrey Trovita
Oscar's elbow drop would successfully stop Audrey in her tracks- something the bigger redhead would take advantage of as he pushed off of Audrey and grabbed her legs to drag her away from the ropes as she barely was able to grab them. Looking to press the advantage and put some pressure on Audrey, Oscar positioned himself over Audrey's body- squatting down as he slowly bent Audrey's legs backward in an attempt to lock in a nasty boston crab onto the plucky redhead!
"I'll give you credit, you had a good start- but I think it's my turn to take the lead here"
Oscar chuckled some more as he slowly continued to lean backward in the hold- looking to stretch Audrey's back and legs further and further as the ref went to check on Audrey. Was she going to submit? Or was she going to try and fight back?

Re: KINGS & QUEENS ( QF ) — Oscar Orelash vs Audrey Trovita
There was no respite for the poor freckled girl. She barely had time to reach back and rub the spot where Oscar's elbow impacted before he snatched her by the ankles and dragged her towards the center of the ring. As she felt herself being pulled away, Audrey made one last-ditch desperate lunge for the ropes, grunting with the effort... but she was well out of range by the time she tried, and Oscar's hold on her ankles made sure she wasn't going to be cheating her way out of his next move!
Only moments later, he stopped dragging her and instead pulled up on her legs, once again putting pressure on her lower back! Audrey couldn't hold back her scream this time; Oscar's targeted strikes were stacking up the pain! She felt her skirt flip down as her lower body went vertical, but the embarrassment at her exposure was only a secondary concern to the torment in her spine. Besides, her bikini bottoms covered what they needed to.
Somehow, though halfway drowned out by her screams, she could hear Oscar asserting his control from above. He was slowly leaning farther backwards, bending the freckled girl even farther now, both her chest and face being grounded into the mat! Her eyes squeezed shut now, her hands covering her head as though that might somehow make it stop. She barely heard the ref by her side, asking if she wanted to submit. But she had to answer; if she didn't, he might just deem her unable to continue.
"No! Fuck no!" she insisted in between screams and panting for breath, slamming a palm hard on the mat - exactly once, no more. She didn't want it to look like she was tapping out. She couldn't let herself lose after just one move!
Audrey wasn't sure how long she'd endured it so far, but she needed to try to do something. She braced herself on the mat with both hands, trying to heave her upper half off the ground; it only granted her mild, and temporary, relief. She tried instead to claw her way back to the ropes, dragging her body along the mat.
She found she could stretch herself a little bit, but so long as Oscar held his ground, Audrey would slide back right where she started. Still, she grit her teeth and kept trying. Right now, it was all she could do.

Re: KINGS & QUEENS ( QF ) — Oscar Orelash vs Audrey Trovita
Oscar would look over his shoulder as he kept the hold locked in- eying Audrey as she refused to submit and continued to try and reach the ropes despite not being able to make any leanway. It may be possible to just keep the hold locked in until Audrey either passed out or gave up... but there wasn't any sport in that. Besides- it'd be terribly dull to end the match so soon. Some of Oscar felt bad for Audrey, but he swallowed those emotions as he sighed. He couldn't let his emotions get to him like this in the middle of a tournament- not only because of the stakes at risk here, but out of respect for Audrey as a wrestler. The woman was putting up a hell of a resistance- and Oscar refused to say he beat someone with one move... so in a surprise move to some, Oscar would release the Boston crab on Audrey!
The relief may feel sweet to Audrey for the moment- but it would only just be for that long: a moment. Oscar would reach down and grab Audrey's arms, looking to haul her to her feet. If the Barbarian Prince was allowed to do what he is about to do, Oscar would spin Audrey around so her back pressed into his chest- his leg crossing over her own and his large hand gripping her shoulder... culminating in giving Audrey a BIG stretch. An abdominal stretch to be precise!

Re: KINGS & QUEENS ( QF ) — Oscar Orelash vs Audrey Trovita
Despite the searing pain in her back and legs, Audrey continued trying to pull away. She could feel herself tiring from it, but it felt better to be doing something rather than just lay there and take it, even if she wasn't making any real progress.
And then suddenly she did lurch forwards! But she quickly realized it was only because Oscar actually released her legs, easing the tension in her back. She wasn't sure why, but she wasn't about to complain. Maybe she'd put up enough of a fight to realize she wasn't going to give in; surely he had to be straining, even a little bit, to keep her in place throughout all her struggling.
But before she even had a chance to reach for her back, Oscar pulled her to her feet. She tried to scramble away, realizing she'd already let herself be caught again, but her legs felt like jelly and she stumbled, giving Oscar the time to tie her up in an abdominal stretch!
Audrey cried out as her body was twisted once again, but at least this time she was on her feet. It was a bit of an odd feeling; the angle at which she was trapped left her feeling like she was falling, or could fall at any moment, despite knowing that wasn't actually possible from this position unless Oscar let her go. Still, it left her trapped arm reaching for his shoulder for some semblance of balance.
"Gotta hand it to ya..." she said through grit teeth, "you really know how to put those muscles to work."
The redhead continued to squirm in the hold, feeling Oscar's powerful body rubbing against her back as her own was stretched out around him. For the first time, black and white stripes entered her vision, as this time her eyes were open. But Audrey spoke up between her increasing pants and groans before any question was asked. "No! Don't you even come over here." Which drew a mildly surprised and concerned expression to the ref's face, but they still backed off with their hands up.
Audrey still had one free hand, but she wasn't sure what she could do with it. Pushing against Oscar's leg wasn't helping; he had it wrapped tight around her own. She could try reaching across her own body to push at his chest, but she angle didn't give her much leverage.
How had she seen others get out of this move before? ...Could she possibly flip Oscar over? Or better... could she try to reverse it? She needed to try to get the momentum back on her side. Enduring or escaping moves all night was a road to defeat. So if she could turn this around and deliver some pain of her own...
The only question then was if she had the strength to do it. She didn't have muscles like Oscar's, but by now, she had some technical skill. It was worth a shot. So with her free arm, she started trying to pry his hand off her shoulder, grunting with the effort. If she could do that, she could push with her free leg and maneuver herself behind Oscar to put the stretch on him! But it all depended on if she could lift his powerful arm...

Re: KINGS & QUEENS ( QF ) — Oscar Orelash vs Audrey Trovita
Oscar couldn't help but smile a bit at Audrey as she complimented his technique, momentarily distracting him as she went and attempted to pry away at his grip!
"Thank you. It's not something I bust out often, but I'm happy to see it can impress- HEY!!"
Oscar caught on to Audrey fiddling with his hands- but the truth was as plain as his previous statement: this WASN'T a move he used often- if not at all! As such, Oscar wasn't quite used to seeing someone resist and struggle as Audrey did. Never mind prying away at his hands! Oscar's grip was strong, but between trying to keep Audrey in check and maintaining the position for the stretch, it wouldn't be long before he lost his hold on Audrey- meaning the Barbarian Prince would be vulnerable as she maneuvered behind her larger opponent!
