Sheila Chihara vs. Kimiko Bando - POW Match

When the referee counted the one, and then the two, Sheila's body went firm with anticipation. She was close, and she knew it - it seemed like she was about to claim her victory over Kimiko then and there! A grin spread over her face at the thought. If she could manage to win the match so quickly, it was a testament to how her time in the excursion had shaped her into a stronger fighter, and she surely only had greatness to look forward to! But before Sheila could get too carried away in her excitement, Kimiko managed to kick out her leg and break the pin! It wasn't over just yet!

"Aww..." Sheila muttered to herself in disappointment. Going tumbling over onto her side, she rolled to her hands and knees a short distance away from Kimiko. Nevertheless, she still wasn't going to let that stop her! Catching her breath, she sat back up straight and focused a glare on Kimiko. And then, she would suddenly pounce, throwing herself at the Japanese girl at full speed as she attempted to tackle her with a spear! She wasn't going to let Kimiko catch her breath that easily!

Kimiko shook her head side to side refocusing herself as she pushed up on her hands and knee's trying to refocus, she knew she had to be careful with how unpredictable Sheila had been so far. Pushing back up to her feet Kimiko took a mental note of where Sheila was and sure enough a few moments after she was back up Sheila went right back on the attack, not willing to let this match become one sided Kimiko quickly readied her herself and her foot attempting to deliver a hard kick to Sheila's head when the woman was close enough in order to stop her dead in her tracks and likely stun her so that Kimiko could catch her breath and go on the offensive.

Sheila was nothing if not a bottomless font of energy, and what was more, she was determined. If her first attempt at bringing Kimiko down didn't work as well as she might've liked, she was just going to try again - and without skipping a beat, the Australian was already throwing herself into her next move! Quite literally, as it were, considering she hurled herself toward Kimiko at full force to try and tackle her with a spear! The fans were cheering on the sight of such an aggressive move from Sheila - and Sheila was sure it could only push her momentum onward if it landed. Unfortunately, Sheila wouldn't be so lucky.

Speed could only get her so far, after all, and as she closed in on Kimiko, Sheila was only putting herself in harm's way! It was just then that the Japanese girl swung her foot right at Sheila's head - and it landed with a resounding thud! In an instant, Sheila's moment of triumph had been cut short - and her battle cry turned to a pained wail as she dropped to the mat, rubbing at her head. The world around her was spinning, and her temples were throbbing; she kicked her legs in the air in the throes of agony. Sheila had a pretty hard head, all things considered...but Kimiko's blows still hurt!

Being tactical with her decisions clearly wasn't part of her opponents strategy and Kimiko took note of that knowing it could play into her hands and advantage. As her opponent charged at her Kimiko readied herself and when she was close enough a thud rang out across the arena as Kimiko's foot connected with the woman's head stopping her in her tracks in a painful way. "Phew" Kimiko let out looking down at the woman, watching her fall to the ground before squirming around in pain. Not wanting to grant the woman time to recover Kimiko reached down trying to pull the woman up by the hair. Deciding it was best to continue targeting the woman's head after the kick the Japanese woman would attempting to tuck Sheila's head underneath her arm. If successful Kimiko would then throw her weight back spiking her opponent's head into the canvas with a DDT!

Sheila's head was still throbbing from where Kimiko had landed a well-placed kick, and the Australian was left stunned by the impact. But Kimiko was far from being done - in fact, she was only getting started! She knew that Sheila was bound to be sore after taking such a blow to the head - and she was out to target that some more, as she yanked her up by the ponytail and into her grasp! As Sheila felt Kimiko's arm tightening around her head, she let out a gasp, reaching up to grab her arm and attempt to pry it off. But it was no use - Kimiko threw herself backward, and Sheila had nowhere to go but down!

"GAAH-!!" As she fell against the canvas, Sheila's legs kicked into the air as her body buckled from the impact. Her head was already sore from the kick, and now, the DDT had reawakened the pains in her skull, causing it to erupt all over again! Sheila knew that if she left herself open to Kimiko's assault, it could only spell more trouble for her - she had to get away before she struck again! Grabbing at her own hair in order to dull the pain, she kicked her legs through the air, trying to roll away and get to the ropes. Maybe there, she'd have better luck in fighting back...

As her opponent's head hit the canvas Kimiko released her and popped back up to her feet raising her arm in the air and pointed to the ceiling trying to get the crowd hyped up at she took a lap around the inside of the ring while her opponent crawled for the ropes. Once her opponent was there Kimiko glanced back and readied herself, sizing her opponent up like a bull ready to charge waiting for her opponent to get back up before running towards her attempting to clothesline the woman sending her over the ropes and out the ring ring successful.

Seeing a strong showing from Kimiko, the fans were happy to cheer her on - and as she lifted her arm to rally their support, they would only cheer louder! But that didn't mean Sheila was done for. The Australian girl was nothing if not stubborn, and now she had begun to drag herself across the canvas - panting and sore, groaning from the pain in her head, but by no means finished. She was determined to fight to the end no matter what, and she was going to do that now!

Grabbing hold of the ropes, Sheila went to haul herself back up to her feet - where she turned around just in time to see Kimiko take off toward her in a charge! She'd hoped she might have some time to catch her breath before throwing herself headlong into the action, but no such luck! However, Sheila wasn't going to let that stop her either! If Kimiko wanted to pick up the pace, Sheila was willing to meet her with all the same energetic high-speed offense she was known for!

Sheila was still up against the ropes, and she could make use of that fact. As Kimiko came closer, Sheila would press down on the ropes to lift herself higher into the air, and kick her legs out at the same time. She aimed to simultaneously dodge Kimiko's clothesline and throw her legs around her head; if she could do that, she'd throw her weight to the side to try and bowl her opponent over with all her momentum working against her, hitting a hurricanrana!

Kimiko ran at Sheila like an angry bull only focusing only on her target and nothing was in the way to stop her. Though the Japanese woman's opponent seemed to have other plans and ideas. As Kimiko charged forward she watched as her opponent through her legs up, unable to stop Kimiko fell right into her opponent's trap with the woman's legs wrapping around her head and moments later she was flipped and sent plummeting to the canvas was a loud thud and groan escaping her lips.

Sheila was proving to be quite an annoyance for Kimiko to deal with, the woman's tactics and style much more wild than hers, something was going to have to change if Kimiko was going to take and maintain control of this match but in the mean time she was left sprawled out on the canvas trying to will herself back up to her feet.

For the most part, Sheila was the sort of woman to run headlong into danger without much thought to the consequences. If anything was in her way...well, she hoped that she'd hit it hard enough to make sure it wasn't an issue. And she had enough faith in her strength to believe if she had her opponent did collide, they would be the one to come away the worse off. Sometimes, that strategy ran her into trouble. But this time, for once...it was Sheila's turn to turn Kimiko's momentum against her, instead of the other way around! The Japanese girl took off like a flash to close in on Sheila, but right on cue, Sheila lifted herself up and kicked out her legs, snaring her foe with a headscissor - and taking her down with it!

As soon as the two of them struck the mat, a burst of cheers came up from the crowd - cheers that Sheila was eager to meet with a grin! Staying in motion, she released Kimiko's head and rolled aside, kipping back up to her feet and waving her hand in the air. If Kimiko thought that had been a hard hit, the Australian was only getting started - she'd prove that as much, as she took off running across the ring and into the ropes on the opposite side from her! Sheila was hoping to make use of her momentum and seize on the opportunity to land a blow against Kimiko while she was down, and that was exactly what she was prepared to do - as she launched herself back off the spring of the ropes like she was taking off from a slingshot, lifting an elbow to slam it into Kimiko's back as she came down on her!

The hurricarana the left Kimiko on the canvas certainly was un unpleasant and sudden surprise. As Sheila took off running Kimiko slowly pushed up onto her hands and knees slowly starting to get back up not paying her opponent much mind until Sheila and her elbow came crashing back down on top of her! "AH!" Kimiko cried out in pain as Sheila's arm slammed onto her back sending her back down onto the mat in a heap with Sheila on top or next to her.
