Russell always underestimated how soft the canvas could be. It was like one of those science experiments from high school. Hard as hell when you got piledriven into it. Cushy as a bed when you were just laying on it. And somehow, some way... even comfier with Audrey here curled up next to him.

But as much as he joked about it, this wasn't exactly a cute little piece of skinship. Audrey hauled their upper bodies up until they were in a sitting position, and before he knew it, Russell had her arm around his throat! "Ack!" Russell grimaced as Audrey started to cinch the hold in. On sheer instinct, one of his arms shot up, and his wrist wedged into Audrey's hold. That earned him some extra breathing room.

Thank God, too. Barely any time had passed, and he'd already given Audrey a primo position! If this was a regular match, he'd be toast -- a dead man sitting, as it were. But it wasn't. As much as she wanted to, Audrey probably wouldn't want to put him all the way out. (He hoped not, anyway.) Sure, beating up on an opponent until they knew they were beat bad enough to willingly get on their knees was one way to win, but they could be civilized about this. No need to brute force their way into getting some oral tonight. Not yet, anyway.

With that in mind, Russell could take his time. With his free hand, he reached up behind himself and palmed below Audrey's chin. Then, he slowly pushed up in an attempt to loosen the hold -- or at least to make it damn uncomfortable for Audrey! A classic self-defense maneuver. "Easy there, Red," he rasped. Even if the choke wasn't world-ending just yet, he didn't want to waste too much breath. "You already took my breath away the easy way. Heh."

Audrey managed to succeed in catching Russell from behind, but not before he slipped his wrist into the lock. So much for trying to put him out quickly. Of course, Audrey hadn't expected a single move to do all the work, but it would have been a good start. She'd just have to work with what she got. It still couldn't feel pleasant for him.

Sneaky move aside, Russell wasn't resisting too much, and it made the redhead nervous. Had she... not locked it in right? Or was she really just that weak? Or... maybe it was just very early and he hadn't spent any energy yet. The night was still young. She needed to stop doubting herself.

Russell did eventually react, and Audrey wished she hadn't jinxed it. His palm forced her head upwards with a grunt, and she had to squint under the bright lights. She tried to turn her head to the side, but that didn't offer as much relief as she'd expected. Plus, it weakened her position. Made it harder to keep her arms locked together.

She wasn't sure what to do about it, though. She could try to stand up, but... then what? She'd have the same problem, but taller.

In the midst of her worries, she couldn't suppress a chuckle at his tease. "We got ourselves a real charmer here, don't we?" she said through grit teeth. She'd be grinning too if she wasn't so busy trying to push back against his palm. "Shame the easy way rarely leads to the goods."

Audrey held her ground for several moments longer before she decided the pressure on her neck was too much. She didn't need to over-exert herself, not so early into the fight. In one fluid motion, she'd release Russell's neck and roll backwards - planting her feet on his back and using him as a springboard in the process - before getting back up to her feet with some distance between them. She'd have to wait for another opening.

In the meantime, while watching him get back up, she'd put her hands behind her back, give him a comically fake pout, and flutter her eyelashes at him.

"Aww, I'm disappointed! I thought you said you wanted to cuddle!"

They were having fun now. Both Russell and Audrey were into the banter, trading light little barbs as they kinda-flirted, kinda-shittalked. Fighting someone for real without having any hard feelings was such a blessing. Wrestling was awesome like that.

So was Russell, by the way. Falling into a God-awful position, then slipping out with nothing but a few hands underneath Audrey's chin? Score one for his old wrestling school. It was a little embarrassing having her kick off of him like that, but free was free. Russell rolled onto his front, then pushed to his feet. One more shakeout of the old muscles, and he was back in business.

He crouched back into his stance. "Oh, I do, don't get me wrong. I just like being the big spoon." That was a lie. Being the little spoon wasn't so bad... But tonight, only the big spoon would walk away with the win. With that in mind, he pushed off the canvas and lunged towards Audrey! Once he got to her, he wrapped his arms around his foe's waist and attempted to sling her over his head, one leg over each of Russell's shoulders and Audrey dangling just off his back!

Audrey let out a laugh. Under any other circumstances, she'd be perfectly happy playing the little spoon, but not here and now. Not when she was in a match. Especially not when there were stakes on the line, stakes Audrey did not hope to give up. And the stakes were twofold; winning would mean she'd be the one receiving the prize; it also meant she wouldn't have to be the one giving it. She'd done plenty of that by now, and tonight was her chance to reverse the formula.

Although, all things considered, if she had to take a dick down her throat, she realized Russell was the least objectionable recipient she'd faced in... well, ever, really. So at least it wouldn't be the worst time in the world, so long as their playful banter was a clue. Still, winning was naturally her preferred course of action.

She did not, however, get a chance to offer a counter-quip before she was charged. His arms wrapped around her before she could decide which direction to roll safely, and soon enough felt herself lifted off her feet! And she didn't stop there. She really started panicking when she was tossed right over Russell's head!

"Eep!" she squealed, wrapping her arms around his torso to keep from simply falling face-first into the mat. What kind of move was this? Was he intending to like, go for some sort of high-angle bearhug and threw her too hard? Was he actually trying to fling her and didn't throw hard enough? In her panic, Audrey couldn't place what he was going for - and decided keeping her arms around him was probably the safest move. She couldn't do much else with her legs caught, anyway.

"I should warn you, I'm not nearly as cute after a face-plant!"

Upsy-daisy! Audrey squealed as Russell picked her up; the girl wasn't heavy at all, making that part of things easy. He had her in perfect position to hit her with a sick little move... But that could wait. Instead, Russell walked around a bit to show Audrey off, laughing with the crowd as he did. Not out of any mean spirit or in an attempt to embarrass her, but what was pro wrestling without showmanship? He even jostled her a little, just to have a little bit more fun at Audrey's expense. Hopefully she'd forgive him for that -- and hopefully Russell wouldn't have to eat her out to earn that forgiveness.

Naaah. Russell was gonna win this match, get some awesome head, then maybe worry about using his mouth to keep things easy between the two of them. The first step was getting Audrey on the ground, and that was exactly what this move was designed to do.

Russell turned his head back to toss a few words back at Audrey. "Eh, don't worry. I'll protect the goods... For now." Then, he tipped himself back and fell, dropping Audrey onto her neck and upper back with a picture-perfect Beach Break!

One of the biggest problems with being a lightweight was how easily other fighters could lift Audrey off the ground without so much as a grunt of exertion.

...Okay, that was the current problem with being a lightweight.

And it was even worse when she was lifted and held upside-down! Her arms had wrapped around Russell so he couldn't simply drop her, but the blood rushed to her head and after only a few moments, she was beginning to feel dizzy. Russell walking around to show her off didn't make that any better. Him shaking her like a can of bees really didn't help.

"Listen," she started. Her tone was... still rather lighthearted, but there was a bit of panic, too. This dizzy feeling wasn't much more pleasant than having her face rammed into the post. "If you're gonna slam me, you'd best do it soon, or I might accidentally suck on your toes later by mistake!"

Thankfully, by the time he did end up dropping her, he was careful not to land on her face, true to his word. The good news ended there, however; she landed awkwardly on her neck and shoulders before flopping onto her back.

"Argh!"

The redhead writhed on the ground for a moment, trying to soothe the ache. Damn, that one had hurt! Oh! More good news: she wasn't upside-down anymore!

"I should have warned you about my neck, too," she groaned. "I kinda need it to keep my head on straight."

She tried to laugh, but it got stuck in her throat. Jokes aside, that blow had done quite a bit of ouchie. Audrey wouldn't be getting up from it just yet.

As soon as he dropped Audrey onto the canvas, Russell sat right back up with an exaggerated grimace on his face. Russell cringed and let out an oooof, playing up the expression for the cameras. It was the kind of face you made when your buddy got hit in the 'nads -- real sympathy, yeah, but with hella banter left unsaid. He didn't doubt Audrey was hurting a little, but this was wrestling. Anyone who could step into the ring -- with Russell Reyes, no less -- was tough. She could take it.

Russell sprung to his feet and grinned to the crowd, arms out Spartacus style for just a moment. He gave Audrey a boyish laugh as she groaned her dissatisfaction. "Ooooh, good point. I really like it when girls move their head, but I can hold it for you if you want," he said, referencing what they'd be doing once he won the match.

Without giving her much time at all for a response, Russell kicked off the mat and set off at a dash to the other side of the ring. He bounced off the ropes, then ran back to Audrey and leapt into the air! Not so high; he didn't wanna hurt his opponent that bad. Just enough to stun her for a bit... as he fell back first onto her for a senton!

Look at him, showing off and pretending to feel the blow he'd just landed, Audrey thought as she rolled around in discomfort. He had a flair for the performance side of the business, that much was obvious. She could respect that, since it was a large part of herself, as well.

If anyone else had made that comment, Audrey might have rolled her eyes. But even after taking a splat, the air remained jovial rather than condescending, so she forced out a laugh instead, even though she did not intend to require his aid. But her head was scrambled a bit, and a quick-witted counter just wasn't coming to her.

As Russell took off running, she realized she may have been focusing too much on the banter and not enough on getting off her ass. He came flying back at her, and as she scrambled to roll out of the way, the only thought that came to mind was that she needed to be a lot faster than this.

She had only managed a 180 and was face-down when Russell came down on her back like a sack of bricks, flattening her to the canvas and pausing any further rolling. The redhead let out a quick cry upon impact, her limbs jolting out from the sudden shock. She writhed on the ground just a bit, her groans just a little more drawn out then they had been. Her hand drifted behind her to her lower back, the easiest place she could reach.

"Okay, you got me there," she quipped in between winces, trying to keep that casual vibe alive. "I got no argument for why I'd need my back."

Russell's senton landed with a drumlike thud of the canvas. That stopped Audrey's escape right in its tracks. Funny how wrestling worked like that. Then he rolled right back to his knees and crawled over Audrey until he was straddling her upper chest. He crossed one lower-leg over Audrey's neck and grinned down at her, his prep work complete.

"Eh, you're clever. I'm sure you'll think of something."

Then, he swiftly rolled onto his back, locking his other leg around the back of Audrey's head and cinching an omoplata! The hold wasn't too tight for now; he wanted to give Audrey a chance to recognize her position. After all, she would be nearly face-first with the bulge in the front of his pants. It wasn't all that at the moment, owing to the physical exertion of their match thus far, but with a pretty girl just inches from it -- with all the license in the world to uncover him and take him into her mouth? Yeah, he'd have something to show real soon.

The impact of Russell's full weight splatting her to the canvas effectively halted Audrey's escape. She was virtually immobilized on the ground, only having energy to flop onto her back - just in time for Russell to mount her and start setting up his next move!

The redhead hardly had time to think of a quip before she found herself nearly face-to-bulge, the only thing keeping then apart being Russell's leg choking the life out of her! How considerate, she thought to herself, but she couldn't vocalize it at the moment. Small comfort, with her body being in such close contact with him while trapped between his legs! The angle was awkward, too, putting further pressure on that ache in her spine from his last move.

But Audrey had no intention of pleasuring him so soon - or at all, if she could help it. She set about trying to push his other leg off her neck with her free arm - for whatever reason, he hadn't locked it in too tightly yet, so she had to try to escape before he decided he didn't feel like waiting for the prize round!

She could see his face from this height, through her one squinting eye as she fought for breath, and hoped he'd take her blushing as a result of her exertion from trying to break free.
