Cage Match: Kat vs. Alaina

Alaina th ought she had Kat right where she wanted her but the amazon was proven wrong! Alaina cried out as she went flying overhead, landing hard on her back! Alaina groaned and slapped the mat, doing her best to sit up and scramble to her feet despite the pained protests of her aching body!

The match was starting to wear on her a bit as every movement seemed to hurt the big woman.

Katherine had found her way out of a tough spot. She knew that nothing Alaina had planned near that steel wall would be good for her! After pulling off her counter and flipping Alaina back and onto the canvas, she'd begin to approach the amazon. By now, the luchadora had expected her heavyweight friend to recover. Alaina's toughness was an attribute that Kat would never underestimate again, especially after this contest! As Sanders rose up, Hart prepared to strike. She'd attempt to greet Alaina as she got to her feet by winding up a stiff Chop aimed at her chest!

"HA!"

If Katherine's hand met the fabric of Alaina's leotard, she'd try to follow up by reaching for Alaina's arm to set her up for a Shot Arm Lariat to take her down and seize momentum!

Alaina got up and the chop slashed across her chest! She stumbled back a step, rearing up as she felt the pain from the chop! However, she was now set up perfectly for what Kat had planned. She was pulled forward and the force of the lariat whipped her head back, sending her to the mat in a heap! Alaina groaned and slapped the mat in frustration once, looking up at Kat!

However, she let out a loud scream as she slapped her own chest, trying to stumble back up to her feet again! "Come on! You call that a lariat?!" Alaina shouted, her adrenaline taking over, and to some extent over-riding her common sense as she stood there puffing her chest out and daring Kat to hit her again!

As Alaina went down, Katherine let out a sigh of relief. Not only did her follow up hit, it downed the amazon with sufficient force. The blonde would begin stepping towards Alaina to approach her for one of her many debilitating submission holds, but before Kat could even grab one of foe's limbs, Alaina has already slapped the mat with vigor! Her foe would already begin rising. Alaina seemed into it, now! When she dared Katherine to hit her again, Kat would give her a bewildered look, but that look would quickly change to a smile.

"You want a Lariat?! I'll give you the ol' Katherine signature Lariat!" Hart declared before turning around and making for the ropes! She'd run across the ring and build up speed and momentum by bouncing off the ropes! On her return trip, the brawny heavyweight would get close to Alaina and turn spin around. Kat would use her speed, momentum, and centrifugal force to commit to giving Alaina one of the cornerstones of her offense: her signature Discus Lariat! It would be the hardest one Kat had thrown in recent years! Regardless of whether or not it connected, Hart would swing hard and fall down to the canvas from the force of it alone! She'd remain there for a moment, on her stomach while breathing heavily. The audience would roar in approval as the hype and tension between these two continued to escalate in this cage match!

Alaina saw Kat getting up and she enjoyed the look of shock across Kat's face. Of course standing there and just letting Kat hit her would be ridiculous so Alaina had a plan in mind herself. As Kat turned around Alaina would do the same, and she bounced off the ropes as Kat did. Alaina was bigger and she felt stronger now... she had to move her absolute fastest to come close to keeping up with Kat!

Hoping to surprise her with speed as well Alaina was delivering much the same move, taking away the spin of Kat's lariat and leaping forward instead! Alaina and Kat would crush each other at the same time, the force of Kat's lariat sending Alaina to the mat in a moaning, hurting heap! She didn't know the effect of her lariat on Kat but she could only hope Kat was laid out just like she was!

Katherine found herself in an exchange of simultaneous blows with Alaina! The Amazon hit frightening hard. But Katherine's Lariat was nothing to take lightly, either! Both women laid on the mats limp! The audience roared in anticipation of which would rise first! Kat laid there in a daze, but after several seconds, she'd start to roll towards the turnbuckles. She grabbed hold of the ropes in the corner and use them to pull herself up. The Super Kitty looked worse for wear as she struggled to steady herself. Through a wincing facial expression and clenched teeth, she'd try and pull herself into a seated position on the top turnbuckle.

The luchadora knew that Alaina would be in pursuit by now. She'd try and cut off Sander's relentless offense by timing a jump and coming at her with a Missile Dropkick from the second rope!

"Not this time, Alaina!" Hart would cry as she tried to floor her longtime friend and rival in the hopes of coming out on top!

Alaina was laid out by the lariat, and she wanted to get up more quickly than her battered body was allowing! She slapped the mat in frustration as her ascent was slow. Thankfully Kat was getting up just as slowly. Alaina saw her running away and gave chase. Unfortunately that is exactly what Kat wanted as she flew into Alaina's chest with a springboard missile dropkick!

"AHHHHHHH!" Alaina shouted as the dropkick hit her so hard she hit the mat on her back, flipping over and landing on her stomach! She cradled her chest, gritting her teeth. She didn't want to look like a lump, a hapless wrestler laid out. She struggled up, cradling her chest and kneeling on her knees but unable to rise to her feet after such an attack!

"I came back to be the best... not the middle of the pack..." Alaina said quietly, unsure if Kat heard her as she was more or less talking aloud to herself. Alaina was in a very bad spot but trying not to give Kat control. Neither lady could build much consecutive momentum. Alaina needed to catch Kat off guard and hammer her over and over. She knew the first woman to get a good run was likely going to leave the cage victorious!

Katherine had collapsed to the canvas after landing her dropkick. She had been going the distance in this high profile match against Alaina! The luchadora took a moment, but after a short while, she rolled over. It was strange, but these moments Kat shared in the ring with the Amazon was when she felt closes to her. She could hear Alaina voice her desires to be the best.

"Oh no, you're definitely a forerunner in the pack..." Kat said as she placed her palms against the canvas to slowly push herself up. "But number one spot out in front...it's got my name on it!" Kat asserted.

The purple-clad luchadora would force herself up to her knees. Katherine wanted to make it to a standing position, but she wasn't quite there yet, and given Alaina's toughness, she knew her opponent would be up on her feet first. Instead of trying to outpace Alaina, Katherine relied on her in-ring smarts. She'd shuffle over to Sanders and try to pull her up to a kneeling position before thrusting an open palm at her jaw! Kat had wanted to engage Alaina in a contest of strikes. After trading hands with her heavyweight rival two or three times over to get a grasp of her timing, Hart would aim to catch one of Alaina's fists with both hands to set up another counter! She'd try and catch Alaina's hand and bend it behind her back! If that went according to plan, she'd quickly zip behind Alaina and wrap her arm around her opponent's head and neck!

Kat aimed to put Alaina in a Crossface Chickenwing to try and seize the momentum with a debilitating submission hold near the center of the ring!

Alaina grit her teeth and looked focused, bordering on angry. She was frustrated with her inability to get up on Kat. As the strike hit, Alaina swung back, looking to crush the lift out of Kat with each hit she landed! However, once Kat grabbed Alaina's fist with both hands and began to maneuver around her Alaina refused to let that happen. She spun her body around, keeping Kat at arms length away and off on Alaina's side.

Before Kat could come up with a new plan Alaina already had one of her own. She leapt upland kept her lateral spin going, aiming a sweeping wheel kick right to the side of Kats jaw to try to send her to the mat in a heap! If Kat wanted to underestimate Alaina's own technical prowess that was on her as the amazon knew how to handle Kat. At least, she hoped she knew how to handle Kat! A win against one of, if not the top heavyweight in LAW would prove that Alaina was back.

Katherine and Alaina had traded some stiff shots. Having been overwhelmed in their previous exchange of blows, Kat went into this one with a plan. Rather than try to overpower and overwhelm an increasingly tough Alaina, she'd try and force the fight back to the area where she was strongest: on the mats! But Alaina wouldn't grant the luchadora that luxury!

Alaina wisely used the momentum picked up from Katherine turning her around. The brunette spun a full rotation before leaping up to deliver a devastating Spinning Wheel Kick! Katherine would barely have time to react! As soon as she saw Alaina jump up, her eyes dilated. She channeled her inner "Super Kitty" and just in the nick of time, she'd duck! The sense of urgency in Hart's movements spoke for itself. Katherine realized that eating that kick would mean opening herself up to a subsequent finisher and a likely loss! Upon dodging the kick, Kat would quickly shift gears. She'd allow Alaina to fall to the canvas before reaching down with both hands to grab her foot. Katherine would wrap both her legs around Alaina's own and secure her hands around the foot of Alaina's boot. The blonde heavyweight wrestler would drop down to the canvas to try and cinch in a harsh Ankle Lock on the Amazon!

"Tap, Alaina! I don't wanna break it!" Kat would yell in the heat of the moment
