Hakuno stretched in the gorilla position, checking herself and mentally preparing herself for the match that was gonna start in any second. She heard she was gonna face a tough opponent today but she was ready to face and defeat her.

Hearing her name being called out by a person who's operating the ring music, she gave a nod before walking towards the curtains. As her music started to play, Hakuno stepped out for her match.

She kept her neutral look on her face, not allowing a single emotion to show what she is thinking about.

Hakuno is wearing her regular wrestling outfit, a crimson red spandex sports bra with same colored red short skirt, black spandex short shorts underneath it and long crimson wrestling boots to finish the outfit.

Hakuno stepped out of the curtain and walked down the ramp as the fans were cheering at the sight of her. She smiled a little towards her fans as she high fived the lucky few she could reach while nodding to those she couldn’t get.

Once she reached the steel steps, she walked up and slid under the second and top rope.

She then stood on the second turnbuckle to raise her hand and posed. She kept her pose for a few more seconds before she stepped off and headed to her corner, ready to wait for her opponent.

Payton had been looking forwarx to this match for awhile now, a chance to show the wrestlers of LAW and its fans alike not only that she belonged but thst she could thrive. It couldn't be too difficult, she'd been essentially been preparing for this moment for the better part of her life.

She entered to the sound of her theme

She wore her regular attire, with its pirate themed belt

Running she'd quickly strut toward the ringside removing the belt for the referee to take away as she walked up the steel steps. One day she hoped, that the belt she handed off would have some prestige attached to it rather than being her own. With it taken away, she stepped over the bottom rope and bent under the middle rope to enter the ring, taking a good look at her opponent as she did.

There was nothing particularly impressuve about her & she was clearly on the smaller side for a middleweight. But, looks could be deceiving and she dare not underestimate her before the match had began. Speaking of which, Pugnacity would leave her corner to head toward the center if the ring, waiting for the match to start.

Hearing her opponent's music, Hakuno locked eyes onto her opponent, who was making her way down the ramp. The first thing she noticed out of the ordinary was the belt, making Hakuno a little curious about it.

She waited patiently for her opponent to undo her belt and give it to her ref. Hakuno kept on stretching for a few more seconds, before she stopped as her opponent got into the ring.

Once her opponent made way to the center of the ring, Hakuno would do the same. Once Hakuno was a few feet away from Payton, she would her opponent “Nice belt. Why do you carry it.” Asked Hakuno curiously as she tilt her head.

"Three reasons. I had it made after winning a wrestling tournament in Bermuda, for style & so that the fans can get used to seeing what I look like with a belt around my waist." Payton responded, she was proud of her past success & dreamed of, however unlikely, future success in LAW.

Payton raised her fists, getting in something similar to a boxing stance, as she waited for the bell to ring. With this being her debut match, she was eager to, win or lose, make a good first impression on the LAW Universe. That would not exactly be the easiest thimg in the world to accomplished. Many had tried to make am impact as a wrestlers, very few could said to have succeded, most at best perpetually fought lower card match, if they got matches at all.

Hakuno simply blinked a little and nodded her head at hearing Payton's explanation. “Cool.” Hakuno said bluntly, finding Payton explaining a little bit interesting.

Seeing Payton getting into a stance, Hakuno would follow suit and get into a regular wrestling stance. She moved around a little, waiting for the bell to ring.

Seeing the two women were ready, the ref raised her hand and signaled for a bell.

*DING DING DING!*

Once the bell rang, Hakuno would quickly go towards her opponent, hoping to close the distance and grapple with her opponent. Seeing her opponent hands were up, she was a bit on the defensive, ready for any attacks.

If she successfully grapple with Payton, Hakuno would try and lock in a simple standing headlock on to her blonde haired opponent, wanting to see how her opponent will react to it.

Payton had not expected such immediate aggression from her opponent from the moment the ring bell was rung, which was perhaps more than a little naive on her part. Regardless, it did give Hakuno the advantage of almost instantly being on top of her, which resulted in her being put in a standing headlock.

But, Payton didn't panic, rather than directly fight the headlock, she'd reach one hand around Hakuno's wait and then another down behind the back of her opponent's closest knee, while simultaneously aligning her outside foot behind Hakuno's ouside foot so when she'd suddenly sit & pull her down she'd prevent her opponent from being able to rebalance herself.

If all went well, she'd end up on top of a curled up opponent, with a hand free to plant on the ground for stability and the other free to curl around for punches at her opponent's face if both arms were still committed to maintaining the headlock.

Hakuno instantly tried to squeeze Payton’s face once she locked in the headlock. She knew it wouldn’t be the best damage but it should hopefully do a bit of something to the powerhouse pirate.

But after a few seconds of squeezing, instead of feeling her opponent try and fight against the hold, she felt her opponent using her free limbs to bring Hakuno down.

Hakuno grunted from the unexpected move, landing on her back and curled up. That managed to stun the Moon Cell Queen for a split second, allowing Payton to be on top of Hakuno.

Once she lost her standing, Hakuno would have freed her arms from Payton's face and instead brought them close to her body. She would try to push Payton off of her, hoping to roll a few inches away so she could stand back up.

Payton had been succesful in brininging down her opponent in response to her headlock, using a move she'd use countless times before to counter standing headlocks to the point that it was almost second nature. Even better, Hakuno let go of the chokehold to protect her face nearly the moment she was on the ground. At this point, Payton wasn't looking to fight on the ground, so that was fine by her, so the blonde started to get up and off from her opponent, who was ironically helping her do so with her pushing.

That being said, she would attempt to use this moment for offense, attempting to stomp her heel squarely into the small of her opponent's back as she rolled. Just because Payton didn't want to fight on the ground, didn't mean she'd just let her oppponent get up without taking any punishment.

Hakuno quickly tried to get up all the way, hoping she could get up to swiftly catch her opponent off guard. And luckily she just managed to roll away from Payton’s stomp towards her back.

When Payton missed her stomp, Hakuno quickly went to try and grab it. If it worked, she would pull on the foot, hoping that could get her opponent to stumble and keep her on the floor, giving her a few more seconds.

If her move worked, she would get back up and with the foot in her grasp, Hakuno would try to flip the pirate powerhouse onto her stomach and try to lock in an Ankle Lock.

Unfortnately for Payton, the time she spent lining up her stomp to Hakuno's back was time enough for her opponent to succesfully roll away before her foot came down. Thus lead to the pirage powerhouse to getting nothing but canvas, which while not very painful, was still certainly unpleasent.

Even more unpleasent was the grip Hakuno would get on that same foot, that lead to the blonde being pulled to the ground, gslling forward. leaving her a little disoriented and surprised, which was just enough for the brunette to execute an ankle lock.

"Argh!" She yelled in pain, as she tried to get her two hands in front of her and planted to the mat.
