Middleweight Championship Match: Tracy "Circus Cat" Canon vs Tina "Tigress" Armstrong(c) - Coming of Age

Tracy jumped back off the steps and swung her leg. She had gotten some decent hangtime and while the motion was certainly flashy, it was a swing and a miss!

"Oop!" The red head exclaimed as she landed on her feet and staggered as she tried to slow her momentum and find her footing. The luchadora had committed herself to going big or going home, but with the opening given to Tina with that whiffed kick, she'd be leaning towards the latter! Armstrong would seize the pink clad masked fighter and lift her onto her shoulder before Powerslamming her onto the hard arena floor!

"Augh! Jerk!" Canon would exclaim as she rolled onto her front after taking the slam. She place a hand on the small of her back and winced as she tried to recuperate!

Tina saw Tracy roll over as she herself staggered up to her feet. The champ grit her teeth, wobbling a bit as she rose. Looking down at Tracy she moved to stand directly over her, bending down to grab Tracy around the waist! "I'm not a jerk.. I am the champ!" Tina said as she tried to lift Tracy up in a deadlift, lifting her in a high arc before bringing her crashing to the ground with a deadlift German suplex!

Tina was determined to show that she could take down Tracy despite all her high flying, flashy moves coupled with her solid technical base in a match that favored the flyer!

Despite any fatigue she was feeling, the blonde amazon sought to power through and keep her momentum going. She'd stand over the reeling luchadora and assert her status as LAW's Middleweight Champ! Tina would bend forwards and wrap her arms around her pink and white clad foe. As Tracy tried to push herself up off the ground, she'd find herself being assisted. Armstrong would show off her strength by dead-lifting the her off the arena floor and bridging back to plant Canon with a Deadlift German Suplex!

"Augh!" Tracy would exclaim as she was slammed downed on her upper back and neck! Fans cheered as the action continued to heating up outside the ring. With no countouts and no restrictions, Tracy and Tina were free to keep going at it! For now Tracy would remain floored on her stomach. With a pained look on her face, she'd gaze up towards the ring and eye the belt hanging high in the air. She tried to maintain focus just like her mentor Katherine Hart advised. Tracy knew she could get that belt real quick if she could just get an opening. But against Tina, that was looking like a task much easier said than done!

Tracy was down, and now Tina was the one going for a ladder! She found another one underneath the ring, pulling it out and keeping it folded up. She held it in her hands and saw Tracy stirring. This ladder wasn't meant for being set up, Tina needed this to keep that woman down! As Tracy rose up Tina would rush forward swinging the ladder in a thrusting motion to try to ram in straight into the abdomen of Tracy!

Tina needed to show that she was all in, ready to do anything needed within the rules to keep her title. She wasn't going to lose now... and if she had her way she wasn't going to lose this belt to anyone!

Tracy was down but she was far from out! Despite looking worse for wear, she maintained a determined expression. The Circus Cat was the first challenger for the middleweight title! She was going to bring that title home to the SWAT Cats! Katherine believed in her. The fans believed in her. When the masked girl finally began to push herself up off the hard arena floor, Tina was already in motion.

The champion was coming in hard and fast with that ladder in hand. Tracy had little time to react, but she wasn't out of options! The Circus Cat would fall to her side and attempt to ensnare Tina's legs with her own! If it went as planned, she'd trip the champ with a Drop Toe Hold and send her falling down the floor, hopefully on top of the very same ladder she was thrusting forward with!

Tina rushed in, but found out she was going to pay the price for miscalculating how bad off Tracy was! Tina fell forward, planting her face eight down on the ladder!

Tina howled as she planted down, her forehead digging in to a step! Tina was laid out face down, barely mustering the energy to roll over in her faze. She was bewildered as to how to keep Tracy down when Tracy was ahead in the match, having dealt a lot more pain to Tina than the other way around!

As Tina flopped over her forehead was gashed open and red was beginning to run down the side of her head as well as get matted into her hair!

Tracy's reversal went off without a hitch. As Tina fell atop of ladder, her head made contact with the metal fixture, just like the luchadora wanted! The luchadora would slowly push herself up. The champ had kept her on the defensive for a few moments, there. But The Circus Cat finally had an opening! She had gotten up to follow up on a downed Tina, but after seeing Tina flop over, even Tracy was taken aback at the fact that her foe was busted open! As Tracy saw the redness blend into Armstrong's blonde hair, she began to turn back towards the ring.

"S-Stay down, Tina..." Canon asserted as she began to break out into a run and head towards the ring. With speed and aerials being her forte in the ring, the challenger was in a good spot! She slid into the ring and grabbed hold of the ladder that she had pushed into it several moments ago. Tracy would grab hold of the ladder by two of its metal rungs and strained herself to hoist it up straight. She'd turn back to check on Tina. No matter the champ's condition, now was about as good a chance as any.

"No way, she's at 100 percent! I'll make this fast!" Tracy said to herself as the crowd got antsy. She'd begin climbing with impressive haste. Step after step Tracy Canon got closer and close, higher towards etching her name into LAW history and becoming the second Middleweight Champion!

Tina was in a daze as she heard Tracy go on about her not being 100%. To Tina it was like nails on a chalkboard! She forced herself up and climbed into the ring as Tracy started her ascent up the ladder. Tina couldn't let herself lose so quickly, not after what it took to get the belt!

Tina was on the apron near a turnbuckle and she made another wobbly ascent up to the top of the turnbuckle! Tina tried to wipe the blood away from her eyes to zero in on Tracy.

With a loud shout she sprang at Tracy on the ladder, trying to spear her off the ladder!

Tracy had already set up the ladder when Tina began to stir. With no time to lose, she started scaling. Tracy would pit her speed against Tina's toughness to try and grab hold of that belt before the champ could do something about it! She had already come close once before! The luchadora could practically taste victory!

When she got near the top rung of the ladder, The Circus Cat would extend her hand. She tapped the middleweight championship, and as she did, her eyes lit up! Tracy knew she was just one more step away! If there were ever a time she hated being on the petite side it was now. "Just one more!" She'd say to herself as placed her foot on the second highest step. But just when she did, she'd see a figure flying at her from the corner of her eye!

"Fuuuu!" Tracy would exclaim as Tina made contact! Armstrong would pluck the luchadora would of the air and off of the ladder with a Dicing Spear from the top rope! Ir wasn't the best form given Tina's state, but it certainly got the job done! Both women would fall down from high up off the canvas! The impact of the Spear would see to it that the ladder went down as well! Tracy would lie on her back near the ropes. It would take her a good few seconds to begin to stir! She could only hope that she'd be the first to rise between herself and Tina, and that when she did get up, she'd know what to do to keep Tina down!

Tina was dazed, bloody, and it hurt to move. However, she knew Tracy got the worst of that spear. Tina slowly began to make her way to her feet a few moments after the impact. She had to show Tracy that she was the champion for a reason. She had to be tougher, go longer and never stay down if she was going to win this match!

Tina got up and eyed Tracy. She stepped over to the woman and cocked her fist back, aiming a hard shot right to Tracy's jaw! "Come on! I ain't gonna stay down for anything!" Tina shouted as she stepped forward again, trying to reach in and wrap an arm around Tracy's skull. Tina's head met the ladder before, and if she had her way now she would drive Tracy's skull down hard onto the ladder with a DDT!

Tina wasn't going to let up. She had to kick things up a notch if she were going to regain control and keep this woman down. Tracy had proven to be incredibly durable, just like Kat. Tina needed to show the drive of Alaina if she were going to also live up to the reputation of her more senior partner the way Tracy was.
