Emerald Ghosts - Iron Woman Match - Cassandra Selinofoto vs Alizeh Midori
Iron Woman Match
The winner is declared by who can secure the most falls via submission, knockout, pinfall, in a span of 30 minutes.
Cassie lightly, gently pinched herself. An blank expression was on her face. She looked right at her match booking, and instead of happiness or nerves, all that came out of Cassandra was..
”ARE YOU KIDDING ME??”
First a match with Kate present, and now Alizeh?? In her last interaction with the Emerald Storm, Cass had dipped right after she came to meet her, and she really couldn’t bring herself to face Alizeh right now. But a match was a match, she could just end it quickly.
.. or not. It was an Iron Woman match. No matter WHAT, Cassandra was in that ring with Alizeh for the next 30 minutes. This was some sick joke, or Alizeh had set this up. But also, Cass was no chicken.
“.. fine, Alizeh.
Just fine. You just wait, I’m gonna make you regret making me do this.”
This time, Cassandra stormed out. Practically busted out of the room, walking over to the guerilla position and then breaking into a run into the ring. No more showy to the crowd, Cass was in a sour mood. But even if she didn’t show off, there was much to see. From eight months ago, Cassandra had bulked up but also lost some fat. Her overall weight was about the same, but there was a lot more power in her body, more reminiscent to a heavyweight build than a typical lightweight. The crowd roared for her, and she’d lean against the ring, letting them get an excellent view of the back muscles.. but Cassie was certainly not in a good mood today!

Re: Emerald Ghosts - Iron Woman Match - Cassandra Selinofoto vs Alizeh Midori
Alizeh took a deep breath in preparation for the match ahead of her. It was one that she had requested herself, partially because Cass had ducked her at virually any chance the two had to meet up. Even after watching her first match and getting ducked which was the last straw. Luckily the people in charge were all for a iron woman match between the two, Alizeh still having plenty of heat post Kyoko while Cass had a lot of momentum with her return, so getting the match made was all too easy in and of itself.
Now came winning it. While Alizeh had beaten Cass before it was no walk in the park, and she could tell that the girl had only improved since then so this would likely be quite the bout. Taking a deep breath in preparation the crackle of lightning would signal Alizeh's entrance starting, prompting her to walk out, posing for the fans and smiling out at them as the cheered in response to the rising star!
Coming down the ramp with a confident smile on her face Alizeh would approach the ring with a bit of swagger to her step, hopping onto the apron and turning out to pose for the fans once more. Once done she would vault over the top rope and into the ring proper before turning towards the corner and hopping up on it to pose once again, showing off her gear and body to the fans before hopping down and turning towards her opponent, approaching her with a soft smile while holding her hand out to offer a handshake to Cass. "Long time no see." Alizeh said softly while waiting for the girl to grab her hand.

Re: Emerald Ghosts - Iron Woman Match - Cassandra Selinofoto vs Alizeh Midori
Alizeh had a new outfit. Cass blinked. That had been the first thing she had noticed. While she had seen it before with her match against Kyoko, she hadn’t really expected it to look like this close up.
It looked.. good. Confident. Like Alizeh was better than ever. Cass looked down at her own, a mismatched pastel blue and purple, and almost snorted. She looked like a kid in comparison to her, both size and appearance wise. A small sigh escaped, as the woman who she had been running away from approached her.
Long time no see indeed.
Cass though.
Cass was a stubborn bastard. She didn’t want to see Alizeh, and as she entered the ring, her.. anger kind of evaporated. She.. kind of wanted to take the hand that was offered, but.. instead, she’d turn around. She didn’t meet Alizeh’s eyes, she really just couldn’t.
”Hello.
Almost champion.
I saw your match. You did pretty good..”
She fiddled with something, drawing out a piece of cloth from her outfit and lacing it around her eyes, tying it up nice and firmly.
“But.. I don’t think I can bear to face you right now. So this, is how I’m going to fight you- and beat you-“
Turning back at Alizeh, she’d notice that Cass had a blindfold on. The crowd went silent and then suddenly erupted into cheers and oooohs, unsure what was going on? Why was she handicapping herself?

Re: Emerald Ghosts - Iron Woman Match - Cassandra Selinofoto vs Alizeh Midori
Entering the ring and finally standing across from Cassie again Alizeh had expected it to be a happy affair before turning competitive, after all it had been forever since they'd seen each other. Instead though Alizeh was just met with... she couldn't even tell because Cass had turned around! "Huh?" Alizeh said in confusion which only grew as Cass said that she didn't want to see her period. "Whoa, hold on Cass, did I do something too..." Before she could finish Cass had turned around after fixing a cloth around her eyes for a blind fold, proudly declaring that this was how she planned on beating Alizeh.
All of a sudden Alizeh felt the confusion that had been brewing in her turn to anger as she glared at the blind folded Grecian. "Are you serious right now?" Alizeh asked in a low, serious voice that made it very clear how upset the the blind fold was making her, or more specifically how flippantly Cass was acting right now in what should have been a big moment for them.

Re: Emerald Ghosts - Iron Woman Match - Cassandra Selinofoto vs Alizeh Midori
Cassandra closed her eyes. Not that it mattered, it only made just a smidge of light close down, it was already pretty dark there. The blue blindfold wasn’t the best, and while for now Cass was pretty much blind as a dingbat, she had some faith in able to accustom herself to it.
But it was better than seeing Alizeh’s expression.
She had been soft with her, and it kind of reignited an old spark in her. The cold tone levelled at her- while she fully deserved it- made Cassandra dig her fingernails into her palms, deep.
[Yes, ARE you serious right now- Cassandra?]
The Voice again. It surged up into her stomach, causing her to want to be sick.
”I am.”
To Alizeh or to the Voice- did it matter? She said it, and she.. she believed at least, that- she cemented the fate of the friendship then and there. She couldn’t stand it anymore, she needed the bell to ri- DING DING DING!!!
A lifesaver for a drowning woman. The thought broke out, and Cass lashed out like a cobra, even before the bell was rung. A kick and a palm.. strike-? The foot was aimed to dig into Alizeh’s shin, batter her down from the start- this would be a long match any way and she was determined to win the war of attrition.
However the hand that was lashed out was her left. Gripping right at Alizeh’s chest- one disadvantage of having fat tiddies was that they were easier to grip- and while Cass did palm a feel, it was mostly to grab the fabric that was there.
And then she drug her towards her, ducking down and attempting to straight up judo flip her to the ground! She may have been blind but at this close of a range she didn’t fight like it!

Re: Emerald Ghosts - Iron Woman Match - Cassandra Selinofoto vs Alizeh Midori
Alizeh was having a hard time understanding what was happening right now. Why Cass was being so moody and dismissive towards her, why she seemed intent to avoid having any contact with her at all, even going as far as to handicap herself by putting on a blindfold. Whatever the case it didn't matter. If she wanted to play kids games fine but Alizeh wasn't about to treat her like a kid. Thankfully the bell would ring, starting the match in a official capacity and allowing Alizeh to dart forward, only for Cass to shoot a kick to her leg!
"Ngh!" Alizeh grunted out with a wince before Cass moved in grabbing her chest before pulling her forward! 'Shit! Either that blindfold is a fake or she memorized by position before she put it on!' Alizeh thought to herself as she was pulled forward and flung onto the mat. Not defenseless though as Alizeh would grab onto Cass's hand before it could pull away from her top and pull forward on it, using Cass's own grip to pull her over after Alizeh had hit the mat attempting to give the girl a taste of her own medicine with a arm drag!

Re: Emerald Ghosts - Iron Woman Match - Cassandra Selinofoto vs Alizeh Midori
Cass acknowledged that she had dropped her chances of victory from like.. a forty percent to a like.. a very low 9 percent. But she was a stubborn goose, and she was determined to bull through whatever the world was throwing at her.. or in this case, whatever she was making it difficult for herself. Now the key to winning this- or so Cass thought- meant that she doesn’t lose direction of where Alizeh was.
Admittedly, the armdrag made that hard. Landing with a thunk after being yanked by her heavier opponent, Cass grunted a little and rolled over into the mat.. but.. she’d shake her head, counting a little. That was two rolls, and Alizeh didn’t SEEM to have moved.
She allowed herself a little grin.
“What, never heard of Daredevil?”
Cassandra’s fingers curled as she rolled backwards, same way she came. One roll, two rolls, and then she added a THIRD roll, hoisting her leg up in an axe and aiming for Alizeh’s legs! However due to the blindfold, it went a little wide, the heel impacting nothing but air..
But Cassie’s thigh slapped into Alizeh’s melons instead, leaving her in a bit of a precarious position should Alizeh recover quick! However, Cass wasn’t one to let go, wrapping her free leg around Alizeh’s bust to crush her in a devastating thigh crush off rip!

Re: Emerald Ghosts - Iron Woman Match - Cassandra Selinofoto vs Alizeh Midori
Needless to say this was not how Alizeh thought her long awaited rematch with Cassandra would have gone. First her almost completely ignoring her, then putting on a blindfold to not look at her, insulting Alizeh in the process and she wasn't going to take too kindly to that. As a result, despite getting floored by a judo throw, Alizeh would look to take advantage with a arm drag to pull Cass over her as well before trying to roll away.
Only it seemed Cass's hearing was pretty good as she rolled towards her and raised a leg up! Eyes widening at this Alizeh prepared a block, only for the woman's arm to come down... and miss her completely, with just Cass's thigh bouncing off of her chest. Which while nothing in its own right, could have been far worse.
Regardless Alizeh would soon find the leg curling up, but she was determined to not let Cass have her way. Reaching up and grabbing hold of the woman's legs Alizeh would hold onto it before kipping up to a standing position while still holding onto her opponent's leg. If successful Alizeh turn to the side, twisting as she did so to try and slam Cass's leg into the mat with a dragon screw leg whip!

Re: Emerald Ghosts - Iron Woman Match - Cassandra Selinofoto vs Alizeh Midori
“NGH..!!!”
Bloody hell, that HURT! It hurt like absolute hell, and Cassandra had let out a small groan of pain, as her twisted leg was slammed into the mat, her toes bumping into the floor. She’d immediately curl up to massage them, the pain making her awareness of Alizeh’s presence almost invisible.
Her fingers clenched up. Her forehead was littered with beads of sweat- but the match had just hardly begun, so what was up with that?
“.. A-Alizeh.”
She’d voice out in a shaky voice. Her hand lightly went to her headband. Slowly, surely she’d start to unravel the cloth, her baby lavender irises blinking from exposure to the lights. Pain was coursing through her- and it cleared her head.
Truth be told, Cassandra had been worried about this fight for days. Days and days on end, she hadn’t been eating or sleeping right, her anxiety of meeting who she believed to be one of her best friends after she abandoned her not leaving her.
“.. m.. sorry.”
She muttered, still not meeting her eyes. Her palms rested against the canvas, dampening it with her sweat, hints of trepidation all around her.
“.. I.. ran.. away from you.. from everyone. I was still running away, with the blindfold. I thought, if I just didn’t have to see you, didn’t have to look into your beautiful eyes.. see your face.. I wouldn’t have to think about it.”
She’d lightly gulp, her throat bobbing. She made no attempts to get up, her chest gently heaving, her breasts- had they gotten bigger?- following suit with every breath she took.
And then she looked up at her. Finally, her eyes matching Alizeh’s even as her view of the Emerald Storm was getting blurrier and blurrier.
Her expression was guilty, a slight shudder in her words.
“I.. broke our promise. We said we’d meet after Apex as winners.. and.. you won.. I didn’t. I broke it Alizeh, I lost! Smothered out of all things.. it was humiliating..
I was reminded of it every day, your name plastered on the billboards as the winner, and mine was as one of the worst defeats.
And I didn’t.. I didn’t feel good enough to be your friend.. good enough you, for myself. For Kate, for the Battle Bugs..”
She’d lightly groan, ruffling her hair and messing it up. She may have acted tough, but everything had a brewing point and the breaking point she had was the pain from the strike reminding her that she could very well lose this match, sending her spiralling again. Some tears were brewing in her eyes, as she’d lightly clench her fists.
“I wasn’t.. fair to you. I wasn’t good enough for you. I told myself you had other, better people around you and I left. I came in here to prove something to my mom, to BE someone.. but when I couldn’t do that..
I ran, like I always did.”
But her tone suddenly turned a dash pleading.
“.. and I came back. I don’t know why, I don’t know how.. but.. I did.
Will you.. forgive me..?”

Re: Emerald Ghosts - Iron Woman Match - Cassandra Selinofoto vs Alizeh Midori
BAM!
With a pretty heavy impact Alizeh managed to slam Cass's leg into the mat with a dragon screw leg whip. A move that had the butterfly themed wrestler screaming out in pain. Immediately shooting up to her feet Alizeh prepared to continue her offense... but something was off. Pausing she would raise an eyebrow at Cass as she said her name, and slowly but surely the girl undid the bandanna around her eyes. Pursuing her lips Alizeh would wait to see where this went, but she remained alert just in case Cass went for some kind of trick.
But then Cass apologized. Blinking suddenly at this Alizeh would slowly lower her hands as she began to listen much more intently than before. Focusing on what the Grecian girl had to say with much more focus. Then the dam broke. Cass's true feelings over the last year came pouring out. Expressing her disappointment, her remorse, her feelings of inadequacy, everything and in turn it made Alizeh feel similar emotions. Abandonment, anger, guilt for not checking on her friend. All of it came rushing forward as the thoughts of the match went right out the window. It didn't matter to her right now. Cassandra did.
As Cass finished her speech Alizeh with her hair shadowing her eyes would slowly approach the downed girl. Bending over and grabbing the girl's hands, pulling her up into a seated position as if to go for a move. Only for Alizeh to drop down into Cass's lap, looking her eye to eye, and revealing the tears now streaming down her face. "You idiot!" Alizeh cried out, her hands going to hold the sides of Cass's face to not only hold her up but insure that she didn't look away from what she was about to say.
"I don't care about that stupid promise! I don't care about whether you win or lose! You're my friend! I care about you! I was so worried about you and you're health! I just wanted to know you were alright! I... I.. I care about you you idiot!" Alizeh yelled out before pulling Cass in to hug her tightly. "I had other people but that doesn't mean I didn't want you... If you needed help you just had to ask, you didn't have to run.. You NEVER have to run or be afraid to face me... I'm here for you.. Just like I need you here for me... Alizeh said tearfully before pulling away, still holding Cass's shoulders as she looked at her.
"Of course I forgive you.. but don't EVER run away again." Alizeh said with a bit more control before pulling Cass back in against her a bit more gently. "Or at the very least tell me and Kate so we can go with you too dummy." Alizeh said as she continued to cradle Cass gently, as if she would flutter away if she let or held on too tightly.
