Yuki Himekouji vs Sanae Saitou - Green Rose

Rose has spikes. Nobody knows this principle better than Yuki. As a wrestler, Yuki has a beautiful appearance among all types of fighters in AFW, many people would recognize her immediately upon first time seeing her perfect body, the white and clean skin, carefully maintained hair style, and of course, that typical face and expression from a daughter of a rich family. However, unlike many other girls with similar backgrounds who mostly are gentle and cultivated, Yuki actually had a reputation of not looking down her nose at everyone around her, but also a terrible person who enjoys being slow pain to others, and tonight, Yuki would bring such an impression to a test at her first ever match in LAW.

Upon getting into the arena, Yuki did not rush to the ring, and instead, she took her time to “catwalk” slowly down to the path. While her specially designed entrance song played in the background, Yuki looked around at the cheering audiences with a gentle smile. Suddenly, Yuki raised her arm and swinged into the air, as many pieces of red rose petals were released from her hand, blown with the air into the inspector seats. This is a special “gift” the white rose was giving to the audiences. Finally, when Yuki reached the ring, she could just climb into it and stood against the post at her corner, she was waiting for her opponent tonight.

From the moment she began her trek down the entrance ramp, it was apparent that Yuki knew a thing or two about spectacle. She was here to make her presence known, and it showed with every graceful and purposeful step she took, to say nothing of the amount of work that had surely gone into rigging up the shower of rose petals that shot out from her hands, drawing a few audible gasps and "oooohs". It was only fitting, then, that tonight she was up against a woman who cared just as much about putting on a show!

Sanae Saitou was enjoying more attention than ever, thanks to the surge in popularity her idol career had seen ever since she leveraged her fame in LAW into her musical endeavors, and she was happy to ride on that hype - for her, just the act of coming down to the ring felt like she was on stage at a concert! In turn, she approached each of her entrances just as she would if she was coming out to perform. It showed in how loudly the fans cheered from the moment her theme music hit the speakers, in how the lights shone brightly down on her, and of course, from how she took every step with a microphone in her hand, twirling in place and striking a few poses on her way to the ring to bask in the light of the cameras flashing all around her. The excitement was palpable, and it made Sanae's heart beat a little faster in her chest, the grin on her face growing wider with every step she took. She lived to feel like a star, and the reception she got in all of her entrances never let her down!

When she finally came to the ring, Sanae climbed up the ropes before doing a flip off the top, touching down in front of her opponent before she took a bow in her direction. Then, she rose to her feet, dusting off her hands. The white-haired girl looked to be an elegant, well-mannered person, and Sanae was ready for a good, clean fight; her excitement had only been stoked when she saw how Yuki had put just as much work into her entrance. This was promising to be a match to remember!

Needless to say, Sanae had no idea of what she was getting into.

"Heeey there!!" Sanae stepped up to Yuki, offering her hand for a shake with a cheerful grin on her face. "Let's have a good match, alright? I'm ready!"

"Oh here she is!" Yuki thought as her opponent, Sanae entered the arena. From the distance she right away noticed her foe's distracting green hair, and with her energric interaction with the audiences Yuki was hooked by Sanae's personality. As Sanae climbed into the ring, Yuki was surprised with her foe's friendly waving, as she would respond with a smile: "Oh hey there..." Yuki would then take a step forward as her smile turned into a grin, "I sure hope you are ready, because this will be a fight you will not forget!" Despite her threatening words, Yuki still maintain her voice in a elegant tone, following by her licking her lips while raising her arms into a "ready" stance, waiting for the bell that she couldn't wait to clash with this cheerful girl.

Going into this match, Sanae saw no reason to be alarmed when it came to her opponent. Her graceful, well-mannered demeanor in her entrance didn't raise any warning signs, and the cheer in her voice when she welcomed Sanae to the ring didn't tip her off to anything either. The idol smiled a little bit wider, nodding her head to her opponent. Yes, Sanae was sure of it - Yuki was going to be an opponent she could put her trust in. No need to fear, no need for unease, just a good, clean fight! Of course, she knew that wasn't an excuse to take it easy - and she was still going to give it her all. She owed it to all of her fans, and everyone who believed in her, to make this match the best she could make it!

"That's what I'm here for!" she shot back in response to Yuki's words. Sanae was all about the spectacle, and she lived for putting on a memorable and exciting display - as far as she was concerned, Yuki's words didn't even register as a threat at all. She cracked her knuckles before sinking into a stance herself...

*DING DING DING*

And from the moment the bell sounded, she was off! Strafing in closer to Yuki, Sanae went to meet her in the middle of the ring, extending her hands to offer a lockup. So far, she thought, there was no reason to be alarmed.

DING!

The sound of the bell. That was what Yuki wanted to hear. Despite only joining the career for not long, Yuki already know what "manners" should a competitor like her to hold. Doing the same as her foe, Yuki started to walk slowly yet elegantly towards the center of the ring, still having the smile on her face. As she would expect, Sanae raised her arms for a lockup, such a confident girl. "I sure hope you are strong enough, haha!" Yuki raised her arms in signal of accepting the lockup, and once their arms connected with each other's, Yuki would use all her strength to push her opponent while maintaining her own ground, she wanted to leave a first impression to Sanae that she would be a memorable opponent.

So far, things seemed to have started out reasonably enough - the two women had gone in for a lockup, and Yuki was just as willing to bring the fight to Sanae as vice versa. The two of them seemed evenly matched at first, the muscles in their arms bulging and flexing as they struggled against one another - every push Sanae made was held back by Yuki, but every time Yuki muscled her way in, Sanae held firm. The green-haired girl's teeth narrowed into a grimace as she dug her heels into the mat - she wasn't about to let herself be moved! Even if she had respect for Yuki, she owed it to all her fans to give this everything she had in her!

"You have...no idea-!" The more Sanae struggled with Yuki, the more her fans began to cheer her on - and given Sanae had a longer history in the promotion and a bigger claim to fame as both an idol and a wrestler, the cheers for her would quickly drown out anything Yuki's supporters could muster. When Sanae looked back over her shoulder at the noise, it only made her grin wider - it reminded her of how many people were counting on her, and how many believed in her! She was willing to leverage all that motivation into her efforts - as she grit her teeth and shoved as hard as she could against Yuki; she was out to make them proud!

The two girls were perfectly and evenly matched! Despite both trying hardest to in the lock up, neither of the wrestler could gain any advantage to another. However, right in this dilemma of a situation, an overlooked factor started coming to play its role: their popularity. Compared to her opponent, Sanae who already had massive supporters with her idol career and longer experience in wrestling, Yuki’s reputation seemed extremely pale as she only showed her face several times to public. With her opponent’s cheering slowly and easily covered over her own, Yuki started to feel nervous despite not saying a word to focus on the duel. The yelling and shouting from audiences slowly made Yuki felt the tiredness on her body, her arms started to get sore while her face sweated a little, in combination with her body being pushed backwards slightly, not obvious but still enough to be felt. This was a dangerous situation, as any sudden move from Sanae could break Yuki’s stance and put her in a disadvantage.

The more Sanae pressed her advances, the more she could feel Yuki begin to crumble under all the force she could muster. And as the white-haired girl began to shrink back under the pressure, it only brought a confident grin to Sanae's face! Despite being a lightweight, Sanae was a lot stronger than she looked, and it seemed like Yuki was going to learn that the hard way. If it was already working so well up to this point, she saw no reason to change it - in fact, her success could only embolden her!

"Haah-!!" Just then, Sanae shoved herself in closer still, driving her shoulders and her chest up against Yuki's own with all the force of a quick, hard push. Hopefully, that would be enough to compromise Yuki's balance and send her to the mat - and if that worked, Sanae only had other tricks up her sleeve. She'd take off running toward the ropes, throwing herself against them to stretch them against her weight so that they'd shoot her back like a slingshot in her foe's direction - there, she would lift her elbow to drop it straight down onto Yuki's chest!
