INTRODUCTION
The Intergender Ring has been a steadily growing place in this community. Especially in the last year or two! While it was never dead, it has been much smaller than the Women’s Ring. Mixed events were rare to come by, with the most notable example being last year’s Do or Die Supercard event, with a good turnout and overall high finish rate! So, it's with confidence to help provide this opportunity to show off the growing side of the larger LAW community.
What's to gain, you might ask? Tsk. Tsk. Keep reading. You have to eat your greens before you get the candy.
GENERAL SUMMARY
- GENERAL STRUCTURE: A Single Elimination Mixed Tournament. EIGHT PERSONS
- MvF RATIO? At least four men
- BOOKING? It will be decided by the Host and Event Coordinators. Opinions on the Sign-Up Form are factored into the decisions, and it is our goal to make this event as fun and satisfying for everyone as possible, but it likely won’t be possible to meet everyone’s best-case booking preferences. Please remember that the purpose of tournaments (as with all LAW events) is to give everyone an opportunity to build story cooperatively!
- SCHEDULE? We hope for all threads to finish in Eight to Twelve months.
- LAUNCH DATE? Mid-Late May.
- MATCH TYPES? Users will choose and agree what matches they're doing after we assembled our eight participants. They will inform the host, who will confirm and approve them. If users have trouble deciding on a match type, the default will be standard match.
- NOTE: You will need discord for us to communicate and assemble on a Discord Server.
- NSFW NOTE: While we will not discourage NSFW, it is not the main focus of this tournament. If your one desire for this tournament is sex and sensuality, then this event may not be for you. That said, if you and your RP Partner agree on it, then feel free!
- Sign-Up Period, from Today till May 1st (Dependent on Turnout)
- Selected Users will be assembled on the Discord Server.
- Preferences for match partners are recorded.
- The Event Runners will determine the tournament booking (which will be kept a secret from all but the match participants to preserve the fun of surprise!)
- Over the next few days, users submit and confirm what Match Type they will be doing. ( NOTE: If you don’t provide us with one, you will be defaulted to a Standard Match. )
- Posters are made, provided by @Malkavia. Final setups and any last minute hurdles are addressed.
- Matches are uploaded on a subforum in this section. Only the Quarterfinals are public until everyone has completed their matches. Then the Semifinals are made public, and so forth.
Fans are hungering! And so are the wrestlers themselves. The Intergender Ring is brimming with talent that's ready to show themselves to the world, but have long since been waiting for their chance! Recently, LAW Management has now decided to pull the trigger on this new spectacle, hoping to find commercial success and a rave in the ratings!
- SETTING? A LAW Japan Televised Program in a ring setting. The finals can be presented more like an occasion, similar to a Main Event, Supercard or PPV. Up to you!
- NOTE: The gap between matches can also be up to you. We will not have a set gap.
- PRIZE? At the end of it all, the host will award the winner with a custom OPENGENDER belt. (NOTE: This is a user belt. )
- BELT NOTE: The purpose of the prize is to provide users with a belt that captures the ENTIRETY of the Intergender Ring. This means both MvM and MvF. Female vs Female is not encouraged for Title Matches.
- BELT NOTE: A holder doesn’t need to participate in both divisions when considering defenses. ( Ex. A men’s holder may decide to only have title matches against other men )
