Angie Defoe, Piper Sherwood, & Robin Mendez vs Kat Hart, Grace Moore, & Newbie Nuo - The Fate of The Loser Title

Angie relished in the picture her team was painting. The A.G.M. remained vigilant and aware of her surroundings and of the circumstances of the match, of course.

She knew all too well that Robin would prefer this thing get done and dusted sooner rather than later. That she'd rather the team work just as quickly as they did efficiently. Defoe bore in mind that right they, they were working at a style and pace that suited Piper much more so - that Grace, and very soon Nuo, would be two names in a long list of LAW talent that Piper would openly and brazenly leverage Angie's name and authority to bully. The blonde boss spied Nuo from the corner of her eye, taking hurried, frantic steps and motions to do whatever she could to help ease her friend's pain.

From the wicked smile on Angie's face, no one would be able to tell that she was as she had always strived to be: aware and in control. While sitting on Grace and keeping her against the ropes, Defoe could, of course, feel Nuo tugging on the middle ropes to add slack. And she did nothing to stop her. If anything, the sight of seeing Nuo aid Grace with just a smidge of relief, only to see the punishment get that much worse work Robin and Piper joining in - it drew more heat from the crowd, and more satisfaction from Angie Defoe!

Angie continued to sit on The Shooting Star's head and neck. She locked eyes with the referee as if daring the official to enforce the rules that would force The Assistant General Manager to let up! And though she paid Nuo no mind, a very quick glance from Defoe, one that would only be pronounced and discernable in a slow-motion replay, would reveal that she saw Newbie Nuo coming! And yet, surprisingly, Angie did nothing!

"Hmmm!" Defoe would grunt when Nuo charged in at her with whatever force she could muster! The scantily-clad masked middleweight nearly dislodged Angie from her seated position on Grace with a Running Shoulder Tackle!

The force of Nuo's charge at her made Angie's head sway to the side! Her hair hung over her eyes for a moment. The Head of Talent Relations gave pause. And as she did, the seriousness of the situation, the grave possibilities that would be the consequences of Nuo's actions - these realizations slowly began to take hold with everyone in the arena!

"Tsk, tsk tsk..." Angie clicked her tongue. She slowly rose up to a standing position, standing at eye level with Nuo. Angie slowly brushed her own hair from her eyes and locked eyes with Huang. For just a second, Angie flashed her signature wicked smile, her facial expression that conveyed her true nature. But that face quickly transitioned to one of concern....and disappointment.

"Nuo! I'm appalled! They say such nice things about you in our meetings, you know? The fans and even wrestlers always comment on what a nice girl you are! And yet here you are, breaking the rules in the middle of a match?!" Angie brought both hands to her cheeks and looked around in shock! Angie would look to her tag partners with the expectation that they'd join in on the act. She'd follow this up by tapping the referee on the shoulder.

"Referee! Please direct our NON-LEGAL OPPONENT back to her corner! Perhaps she simply needs a remedial course in tag team wrestling. I'll forgive her ignorance just this once!" With a wave of her hand, Defoe would command the striped shirt girl to overlook this transgression and to escort the pink and white masked beauty back to her corner.

The crowd and the commentators weren't buying any of this, of course. But with the leverage Angie had over the official, there was little course of action that the referee could take other than see Nuo back to her corner. And should Nuo acquiesce with the referee's reluctant call here, Angie would smile at Huang from across the ring while Huang was escorted back to her team's corner.

"Oh! And Nuo, dear! One more thing, if you don't mind!" Defoe would raise her index finger to try and get the girl's attention. Angie would barely be audible over all the boos, but she would speak up. As Nuo found her place on the apron, Defoe would reach for Grace's long purple hair, grabbing it near the base such that she could haul Grace up to her knees. Angie would make Grace face her corner, showing off The Shooting Star's breathless, hurting expression. The Manager would bend forward, giving the audience and cameras a view while winking at Nuo from across the ring.

"Whatever happens to your good friend next, dear. I want to know that it's on your hands!" Defoe would stand up to extend her hand to Robin. She would look to make a tag and point to Piper, signaling Robin to tag her in. Through gestures and dialogue, Angie would make it clear that she intended to make more of an example of Grace, this time to drive a point home to Nuo and anyone who sympathized with her!

"Girls, I need your help. Nuo's for such great faith in her friend here! She thinks Grace Moore has barely gotten started! So let's kick it up a notch, shall we?" Angie would use her grip on Grace's hair to bob the masked girl's head side to side to toy with her.

If the heel trio continued to remain in control, Angie would pull Grace closer to her corner and pull The Shooting Star up to a standing position. A quick jab to the abs would force the girl would double over, allowing Angie to motion for Robin to come to her side. She'd direct Piper to the top turnbuckle. If all went as planned, Angie would look to direct her team to see to it that she and Robin lifted Grace up into position for a Double Powerbomb! Angie would look to hoist Grace high up for a moment, allowing Piper to take to the air and add to the force they'd be sending Grace down to the canvas with!

If all went as planned, the term "overkill" would be a massive understatement for the absolute drubbing they would have put Grace through thus far!

Nuo was just as surprised as Angie was even though she was the one who initiated it. After sending Angie down on the canvas, a sudden realization came to mind. She had just attacked one of the members of the other team and yet the rest were stillon top of Grace. She was completely focused on Angie that she didn't know what to do about the rest.

However, that thought would pointless as Defoe would be up on her feet. She was done for. Or so she thought since rather than getting revenge, she'd save that for later and instead gave her a wicked smile. This shook the poor newbie since that wasn't the response she expected out of someone she had just shoved to the ground. "B-but I-" Before Nuo could even defend her actions, the referee Angie brought ordered her to take the newbie back to her corner. Not wanting to make anything worse, she complied and was taken back to her corner where she'd watch the others continue beating the poor Shooting Star.

While they were at it, Defoe made sure that she was watching which there's no reason why she wouldn't. When her team prepared and lifted Grace up with a powerbomb, Nuo should've closed her eyes there but it was too late. She watch her friend be taken down to the canvas when they added some extra air by Piper.

When Grace hit the ground, she was quite close to her team's corner with the 'help' of the other team. Not wanting to see her friend continue any longer, Nuo lowered herself down and reach her hand out from above the bottom rope. "Q-quick, t-tag me in!" Knowing she would next to the meat grinder.

Piper was smirking and laughing cruelly as she clawed at Grace's body, happily enjoying the pain and torment she was inflicting along with the rest of her team. Unfortunately it would be interrupted by Newbie Nuo coming and attacking Angie! "Hey bitch!" Piper snapped angrily, stopping her claw to nearly get in the ring and attack, only for Angie to take care of it herself using her influence. Making Piper smirk a bit as she returned to her original position before Angie decided to change things up, directing Piper to the top while Robin would join Angie in the ring. Smirking evilly as she picked up on what was about to happen Piper would nod affirmatively. "Got it boss. But I think I'll have some more fun after if you don't mind." Piper said before tapping Angie's arm to tag back in before climbing the corner from the outside until she was at the top. Then once there she would take to the air, bringing her legs up as she came down to go for a massive double stomp to start Grace's descent while coming down from the power bomb for a massive triple team move! Naturally Piper would end up rolling off her opponent from the force of the stomp. Popping up to her feet and posing, not noticing just how far Grace had bounced and rolled, nearly being back in her corner as a result!

Grace was tossed around, squashed, slammed, and stomped on like a piece of trash, leaving the masked woman thoroughly crushed against the canvas as she struggled to catch her breath, groaning and moaning aloud as the pain was too much to bear. Before she knew it, she had been slammed against the canvas while having her stomach and chest simultaneously stomped as the terrible trio decimated the Shooting Star...however, in a stroke of good fortune, Grace's body bounced off the canvas from the impact, rolling her over toward her corner, just barely close enough to tag with Nuo. The crowd cheered and hollered, begging Grace to get back up. She tried to catch her breath and get up to her knees, her vision blurry and spiraling as she looked around. When she saw Newbie reaching her arm out, she started to crawl toward her. She pulled herself closer and closer, and if she wasn't stopped, she would leap forward with the last of her stamina to evade Piper's clutches and tag in with Nuo before it was too late!!!

Fans and staff winced as Grace took a thrashing that would surely go down in the annals of LAW history as one of the many reasons why you don't cross the boss or her closest peers! Piper hit an emphatic double-foot stomp! The masked bluenette bounced off the canvas almost cartoonishly!

Grace hid her masochistic side well. No one would suspect that there's a part of her that was somehow enjoying being at the heart of the title picture surrounding LAW's Lower Title! But even The Shooting Star had her limits! The lanky middleweight was in dire straits! Even former loser champions could tell at a glance that Moore was in very desperate need of a tag!

By now, everyone in the arena was all too aware of Sherwood's mean streak! The petite blonde terror smelled blood in the water! Now that she was the legal woman again, there was nothing stopping Piper from making short work of Grace and bringing her team one big step closer to keeping the riffraff of LAW in line! Nothing but a small stroke of luck that saw The Shooting Star's limp, ragdoll frame bounce off of the canvas...and towards her team's corner!

By this point, despite the doom and gloom surrounding the fan-favorite team's chances, the fans were cheering! Grace tagging out to Newbie Nuo here would surely give her team new life! A genuine fighting chance! Which made it all the more daunting and deflating when, in the eleventh hour, when Nuo leaned over the rope with her arm outstretched, when Grace leaped forward with whatever she had left in her tank, Angie Defoe struck!

"Oh noooo~!" Angie would bellow out. Her voice echoed from off-camera! While every pair of eyes had been focused on Grace closing the distance between herself and her tag partner Nuo, all while Piper loomed over her in hot pursuit, Angie had descended from her corner and slipped away!

The Assistant General Manager crouched underneath the ring apron and emerged on the other side of the ring! For someone who hadn't been wrestling for nearly a decade, her timing couldn't have been more impeccable! Just as Grace was about to make a tag, Angie snuck up from behind at ringside and grabbed hold of Nuo's ankle with both hands!

The conniving authority figure would pull Nuo off the apron by the leg, leaving masked beauty to take a spill to the outside! And more importantly, denying the opposing team the chance to tag!

If Defoe managed to pull this off, the chorus of cheers would swiftly devolve into a torrent of boos! And after sounding off with a sarcastic remark and a small bout of feigned concern for Nuo and Grace, Angie would turn her attention to Nuo, who was no doubt looking to recover and work her way up to her feet! Angie would place both hands on her own head and make her best attempt at looking worried for Nuo's sake! And the moment the girl rose up to her feet, the boss would look to lift her foot off the ground and floor the girl by kicking her in the face with her bare foot!

From here, if her team kept their momentum going, Angie would smile back at Piper in the ring, who would certainly be looking to put Grace out of her misery. Angie would then turn to the cameras and flash a wink before briefly dropping the act and airing what she was really thinking, for once! All while standing over Nuo at ringside!

"You people are still booing? Why? Did you really think these jobbers had a fighting chance?"

Grace was by the ropes where Nuo was holding, trying to help by leaving a gap between her friend and the rope. When she thought the two were within arm's reach, she extend her hand out for her to tag in. For some reason, she forgot just who they were facing so when she was focusing over her friend's safety, someone from the other team would come in and flank her. Before she could even question herself about the missing member, something grabbed her by the ankles.

This caught the newbie by surprise as Defoe would pull her off the apron by ease. With her feet no longer touching the surface, Nuo would try to hold onto the rope to prevent her from falling. However, she hit her forehead along the way that would have her lose her grip. She bounce off the apron and outside of the ring where the mats would be hanging around the ring.

After the landing, Nuo would be on all fours, slowly pushing herself up in a kneeling position before getting up on her feet. However, Defoe would already be waiting for her to greet her. Giving the newbie a kick to the face to send her back down to the ground. Allowing the Assistant General Manager to stand over her and argue with the displeasing crowd.

With Defoe distracted, Nuo began to muster up her strength to go for a counter attack. Place both of her feet flat before kicking themselves off the floor. Hoping she was just flexible enough to have both of her legs to reach Defoe from behind. Carrying enough momentum to force the Assistant General Manager out of the way to allow her to roll up to her feet.

Grace had lunged forward to try and slap Nuo's hand, but it was simply too late as the vile Assistant GM Angie Defoe halted all plans and hopes of the handicapped masked duo. As Nuo was pulled down and assaulted, Grace flopped against the canvas with a grunt, wincing as she groggily saw Nuo getting beaten down on the outside. Not thinking about Piper or Robin behind her, she tried to reach out to grab Angie's attention, or maybe slip outside to help Nuo, or-...something, ANYTHING. However, it was likely that the blonde Brawling Bunny behind her wouldn't allow such lofty ideals to blossom when she was in the ring, something Grace should have been mindful of before forgetting who she was fighting in order to try and play hero to save her teammate.

Watching the match back later would bring a twisted sense of satisfaction to the trio in seeing Grace and Nuo each doing their level best to make the tag, only to be denied at the last possible second!

Angie has gotten the measure of Nuo at ringside. The Assistant General Manager had gotten comfortable enough to be forthright with her intentions here. In her mind, it was time to face the fact that their opponents stood absolutely no chance of winning! And the moment Defoe declared this, Nuo imposed her will and kicked her legs out from under her to topple the big, bad blonde!

"Ungh!" Angie groaned as she fell to the thinly padded mats at ringside. But the pain in her expression quickly morphed into a smirk!

It seemed Nuo had more fire in her than she expected. But Angie wasn't just smiling at Nuo's grit. She was smiling at the fact that while she contended with The Newbie outside the ring, Piper was surely finishing Grace off inside the ring!

Piper was a little bit annoyed that her opponent had managed to roll so far away from her making the blonde roll her eyes that she thought she actually had a chance. Which to be fair she almost did... at least until Angie took matters into her own hands, seizing Newbie Nuo from outside the ring and pulling her down to the ringside area, allowing Piper the chance to cut off Grace once and for all!

"You're not getting away that easily!" Piper said as she reached down and grabbed Grace's ankles, lifting her legs up before taking advantage of the ref's focus being on the commotion outside to wind her leg back and deliver a brutal kick directly to Grace's groin from above!

"Now shut up..." Piper said as she then dragged the masked woman to the center of the ring, pulling on the woman's legs to turn her over onto her back! If successful at doing so then the blonde would bend down, grabbing the woman by her top and pulling her up to her feet, but only to wrap her arm around the woman's shoulders to dip her as far back as possible to where Grace's head almost touched the mat, at which point Piper would lean down to kiss Grace on the forehead in a ever so mocking manner.

"Do what you do best..." Piper said continuing her words from before as a evil grin spread across her face as she threw herself back to try and land her finisher, the reverse swinging sto that she called the Empress Cradle! "And lose!" Piper yelled completing her words as she delivered the move, looking to drift over and drape herself over her opponent's body, hooking her leg and going for a pin fall on Grace!

Grace's eyes SHOT open as she suffered an INTENSE burning pain between her legs following Piper's kick to her groin, forcing the masked woman to holler in pain as she crumbled to the canvas, squirming and writhing around as the audience continued to boo and jeer the team of corporately backed misfits and their power-abusing boss, not like either of them cared...

Grace was dragged along to the center of the ring, almost paraded like a trophy as Piper staked her claim, looking to put the Shooting Star away with quite the flourish and finish as she began hoisting her up into position, cradling her gently at first and laying a soft kiss down on the masked woman's head before twisting and ripping her around, sending Grace crashing skull-first into the canvas with the Empress Cradle!!! The impact would see Grace's head bounce off the mat with a resounding, almost thunderous -THUD- as she flops over onto her back, laid out and stunned...bordering on consciousness as her leg and head twitch a little before she was partly straddled by Piper, who easily hooked her leg to get the elimination on Grace, who couldn't even lift a finger, much less fight back.
