Rev Citrine Vs. Kasey Crass - The internal struggle

Unread post by Lycanstar »

It felt strange entering the LAW arena for another match so casually after his experience as a POW from his loss to The Morrigan. The man that left the arena that night didn't feel like the one who was here now; Although he dressed and looked the same there was a sense that he was feeling uncomfortable continuing on as he passed by production staff busy with their jobs and other wrestlers preparing for their matches... It was like they were oblivious to the earth shattering changes Kasey felt like he was going through internally.

But he had to put on a brave face. While the memories lingered on there was no space for that while in a wrestling ring. He was hardly even focused enough to take the time and learn anything about who his opponent was; only knowing it to be a man. That's... Fine. Kasey had no problem wrestling Men in the past, but back then it was a lot easier to take advantage with bribes and... Enough of that thinking. He could do this. He was confident. He could really win if he wanted to against anyone. Or at least, that's what he would try telling himself. But despite being in his 'Gear' and in perfect physical condition for what tonight's bout would entail; Kasey felt like he was less prepared than ever.

The following is a 'Hentai Rules "I Quit" match! Making his way to the ring... Kasey Crass!

Emerging from the curtain Kasey immediately felt a sense of ambivalence towards the way he presented himself. While typically able to strut cockily down to the ring allowing his physique to be the centre of attention; this time he felt... Uneasy. Tense. All these people were watching him, something he was used to in the past but they didn't know the sort of experience he had gone through, nor should they ever. But Kasey didn't want to be made of glass; Come on it shouldn't affect you THAT much... Just walk to the ring like you always do; be a goddamn man.

Taking advice from his inner monologue only did so much for him as his demeanour felt reserved, nervous almost. It wasn't even directed at who his opponent this evening would be, all of this felt directed internally. Clambering through the ropes Kasey looked on at the audience, a sea of people in every direction with their eyes locked directly on him. It felt a little overwhelming. Maybe that would all change once his opponent made their way to the ring; a shift of perspective to get him focused on ANYTHING else.

It was his first match in a while. Projects out the wazoo kept him busier than he'd like to admit, though hearing the boos and cheers, it brought an all too familiar grin to his lips.

"And his opponent, the silent heel....REV CITRINE!!"
The Giant Sculptor

He hadn't done much research on this man, all he knew was that it was someone handsome and it'd be the same structure he used last time. As he walked to the ring, he stretched his arms above his head, showing off his muscular physique to the crowd as he walked passed them.

He slid into the ring from under the bottom rope, springing up to his feet FAR more quickly then someone of his height should reasonably be able to. And indeed, it soon became apparent how he towered over Kasey with a 7 inch height advantage as he quickly walked over to his soon to be opponent, practically swallowing the man in his shadow. A calm, smug smile settled over him, one that seemed almost too assure of an easy victory as he slouched back with a hand on his hips.

An act, of course. He knew better than to underestimate people he was taller than, though nobody needed to know that. Rev kept the smile, hiding his excitement for the fight to begin with an attitude he hoped riled up his truly handsome opponent to try harder than he might have otherwise.

Oh, this was gonna be fun, he could tell.

...Oh fuck.

The man coming down the ramp looked like he would tower over Kasey~ A built, muscular body and flowing pink hair... The false confidence Kasey was trying to fill himself with was whisked away in a instant as he simply gawked at the man as he slid into the ring. With the two now in the ring it was easy to confirm~ Yes, this man was much bigger than Kasey. Not to mention dressed; Kasey felt like a complete idiot for his attire choice that at one point gave him exuberant confidence. But now standing next to his opponent it just made him look unprepared~ Like he didn't belong in the ring with somebody like Rev.

Kasey didn't know what to say~ he stared blankly at Rev with a worried expression while the big man returned him with a smug, confident smile. Kasey gulped audibly as he already was imagining this man could tear him down if he really wanted; Could Kasey even do anything to s-stop him from...

No; j-just put on a brave face. Think about what The Morrigan had said to him; Kasey could be a competitor. He wasn't a complete lamb, of course he knew how wrestle decently. This shouldn't be a big deal. Just breathe, don't let him intimidate you.

"W-well you um.. You're not scaring me. I know I can take you."

Perhaps the most generic and unsure thing he could have said at that moment came out of his mouth. If Kasey really wanted to psyche himself up, this may have backfired horrifically as he clammed up right after letting out his uneasy threat. Rev's lack of response was a bit concerning as well~ Was he going to say anything? What was 'The Silent Heel'? Was he just playing the silent game to get a rise out of the ever-worrying Kasey?

"W-well? Anything to say..?"

Maybe Kasey could kid himself into thinking he intimidated the larger man. He was at least safe to think that at least until the bell would ring...

He did his best to swallow the flare of rage. It's no good assuming every single person who says something like that is acting out of malice. Instead, Rev shook his head and pointed at the rather grizzly scars that circled his neck.

The bell rang after pointing out this faux pas...however Rev stood still, waiting to observe his opponents response to this point.

...waiting to see how brutally he'd allow himself to treat Kasey this match.

DING DING!

...Oh. Did Kasey unwittingly insult his opponent..? Perhaps the mark on his neck really did mean he could not speak~ Was that a good or a bad thing though? Kasey was a little unsure as the bell interrupted his train of thought; hopefully the larger man wouldn't puni- Um, go 'hard' on Kasey for that one... All of this made the situation extremely awkward as the bell indicated the two should begin fighting... But Kasey was still a bit frozen; only inching a bit closer to his opponent as he slowly shifted to a awkward grappling stance.

"...sorry. But I'm still gonna, um. Wrestle you. Even if you are..."

Kasey couldn't believe how awkward he was seeming. What the fuck was his problem? Why was he of all people apologizing in a wrestling match? That night with the dominatrix must have really done a number on him; He seemed nothing like his normal self. Even through his awkwardness, Kasey squared up meagerly to await a grapple; maybe Rev would go for a test of strength? It seemed uncouth to attack a man like Rev right out of the gate even of Kasey had the confidence to try it...

Okay so...

The dude didn't need to have the fear of God put into him to start things off. Good. Rev didn't exactly want to make it a HABIT of brutalizing his opponents in blind rage anyway.

There was, however, still the issue of how utterly reluctant this poor man seemed to fight. As though he was forcing himself. No. Such a thing just wouldn't do. Rev needed to do something about this...

...and seeing him try to square certainly gave him an idea. The wind practically sailing as he did so, he thrust his hand out to open palm smack Kasey across the face about as hard as Rev possibly could, even wincing a little upon palm meeting cheek from how hard he had done it.

A bitch slap typically pisses people off. And also made for a good laugh, given the chuckles of the audience seeing such a goofy tactic in response to an attempt at a traditional test of strength.

*SLAP!*

Kasey's request of a strength check was turned down by the much more confident Rev; who plainly slapped him silly across his face which took Kasey completely off guard! He practically spun in place as his arms flailed like he had lost control of them, leaving Kasey to fall to a knee and stop himself from falling completely down. Bewildered; Kasey stared blankly at the canvas while he grabbed his jaw, ensuring it was locked in place from the impact.

Kasey took a few deep breaths as he collected himself and tried to run through what just happened- He gave a real attempt to look like a proper wrestler who wanted to compete but was immediately brought crashing down to reality~ He had not earned the right to have a respectful spar. He was just a complete joke to his opponent and without the use of any words; he communicated that very clearly. The audience laughed at Kasey as he slowly got up; looking to maintain some composure but failing to retain his dignity.

"...You're a fucking bitch, you know that?"

A small glimmer of the old Kasey emerged as he gave a weary side-eye to his opponent while rubbing his jaw. While he maintained a slight heir of confidence, the insult was still not very creative or useful. It hardly reinvigorated Kasey to take any real action~ Almost seeming like a gut instinct to cut into his opponent's ego. Kasey waited in place for Rev's next action; his erratic heartbeat getting more and more excite- Wait, excited? Shouldn't he be... Kasey was still having a small struggle in his mind; hopefully nothing his opponent could take advantage of...

Rev shrugged his arms and gave his opponent a shit eating grin. About as clear a way to say "Guilty as Charged" as he could. The look of shock, the audience joining in on the joke, the insult that only made it clear how much that wounded Kasey's pride.

Just a few more shots. Just a few more and Rev was certain he'd get to see what he's looking for from this guy.

He had something going here. And Rev decided to press on his advantage. Pressing his feet hard against the floor before pushing off, Rev attempted to shoulder check his opponent and send him to the floor.

Kasey's heart was beating rapidly as he looked at Rev shrugging his shoulders in acceptance to Kasey's lame insult~ The masked man already felt a little silly for what he said; did he really mean that or was that a reaction to...

"OOF!!!"

Kasey could hardly react in time before he saw the blur of Rev charging towards him and shoulder checking him roughly to the canvas! He landed stiffly on his back with a ring-quaking crash before instantly stretching out his body from the pain!

"Nnnnrggh... god...."

Kasey laid next to Rev's feet as his whole body focused on the sudden impact he had just been on the receiving end of, wondering internally if he really deserved that or not. The frustrating way Rev was always just out of reach and tauntingly knocking Kasey back constantly was... No~ The match- Just focus on the match Kasey. He looked to collect himself as he opened his eyes to find his opponent standing over him looking down...

Kasey looked up at Rev with little movement aside from his pained recovery; He blinked slowly as he just had to take in Rev's domin- um, muscular figure looming over the lights of the arena blaring down through his hair. Kasey's expression looked a bit pained, and worried. Almost as if he couldn't believe Rev could have hurt him like that. But besides his look and internal struggle there was little action from Kasey as he remained lost in his own desperate thoughts...

"R-rev..?"

This was almost too easy. Had he accidentally been booked for a squash match? Rev couldn't help but feel slight pity, it was rare he faced an opponent who seemed almost allergic to fighting back. Perhaps he had been wrong about that fire burning inside Kasey...

...well, he'd have fun in other ways regardless.

Rev began humming an innocent little tune to himself, kneeling down gently to gingerly grab at Kasey's legs before standing back up tall if he managed to do it without resistance. Forcing them apart, Rev would give a five second pause, his innocent smile turning into a much more sadistic one and to let the realization of what was about to occur settle into Kasey, before lifting up his foot and slamming it down into Kasey's crotch. He grinded his heel into it, wanting to give his opponent a world of pain and a message on how this match will go for him if he just kept letting himself get pushed around.
