Smol Powerhouse Vs. Sun Goddess: Annie Clark Vs. Quetzalcoatl

Annie gave an elbow strike to Quetzalcoatl and she expected the sun goddess to completely crumple and collapse to her knees, Annie’s strikes usually take a lot out of her opponents. Annie’s face turned to a look of shock as Quetzalcoatl gave minimal reaction to the elbow strike, still standing on her feet.

Because she was so stunned at the outcome of that elbow strike, Annie did not notice when Quetzalcoatl raised her knee, till it hit Annie right in the stomach.

“GAH!” Annie screamed as she completely collapsed to her knees, holding her midsection while coughing out saliva, that knee strike seemed to have completely messed her up.

Quetzalcoatl wasn't used to fighting smaller wrestlers but she didn't expect a lightweight to be so strong. Annie was clearly stronger than some middleweight she had fought, even more powerful than her teammate Astrea. That was respectable, especially since it was getting harder and harder not to sell Annie's moves.

Quetzalcoatl had to move up a gear and for that, she decided to use a hold, but not just any hold. She grabbed Annie by the hips and carried her upside down, head down, before pulling her up even higher until her head was on his shoulder. She continued by grabbing her opponent's ankles and spinning around to show the audience what she intended to do.

A muscle buster. A movement that Quetzalcoatl used a lot against lightweights but also one of the iconic movements of her opponent who, ironically, found herself trapped in her own hold. The Frenchwoman wasted no time, falling backwards to land on her butt before letting go of Annie's ankles so she fell on her side.

"YOSHAA !"

Annie was still reeling from the knee strike from Quetzalcoatl, even coughing up a little blood from the knee strike. She was in a deeply stunned state now, which means it was easy for Quetzalcoatl to take advantage of the situation right in front of her.

Annie felt herself being grabbed and being put on Quetzalcoatl’s shoulders, upside down and with her ankles being grabbed, Annie knew exactly what Quetzalcoatl was about to do. She attempted to struggle out, knowing the pain this would cause her but also that she was actually pretty furious about someone trying to muscle buster her.

Though Quetzalcoatl would put an end to that struggle, and being her down with a muscle buster, causing Annie’s body to slump and crumple to the mat, she was basically out for the moment.

The Frenchwoman's Muscle Buster happened in two stages, first she let the spectators enjoy the view they had, especially when this kind of thing almost never happened to Annie, before putting an end to it by dropping Annie rather violently. Quetzalcoatl remained seated for a few seconds, looking at her opponent behind her lying on the ground and perhaps even unconscious.

It was the perfect moment to end the match and Quetzalcoatl did not immediately seize her chance, preferring to get up to turn Annie over and force her to lie on her back before and lightly drag her towards one corner of the ring, the one where 'she would climb right after. Quetzalcoatl was going to perform an aerial, the one she used to use to end her matches and also the one that gave her her nickname. She raised her arms in the air to excite her fans who knew what to expect before lunging at her opponent, raising her arms in the air to perform a Body Splash and crush Annie with her entire body.

Annie was basically knocked out at the moment, she could very well be pinned and beaten, making Quetzalcoatl one of the few to actually beat her. Though luckily for Annie, Quetzalcoatl did not want to do that right now, giving Annie the chance to recover.

“UGH!” Annie groaned as she began to stir, regaining consciousness and her limbs starting to move again. Almost on pure instinct, Annie could feel something bad coming, something that could certainly end her.

So Annie attempted to slowly roll out of the way, hoping that it would make Quetzalcoatl’s incoming splash miss.

Quetzalcoatl excited the crowd by posing in front of everyone while standing in the corner of the ring. Everyone wanted to see Quetzalcoatl's body splash again and she didn't wait another second to throw herself at Annie... Who moved at the last moment!

The Frenchwoman crashed against the mast, making the ring shake because the fall was so powerful. She sighed softly in pain and rolled onto her side so she was lying on her back, stroking her pain-stricken chest and face with her hands.

“Excellent Miss Clark...!”

Many would say that Annie had just avoided what would basically be death if her small body was crushed by the much larger Quetzalcoatl. Luckily for Annie, she managed to just move out of the way from Quetzalcoatl’s body splash.

Annie slowly got to her feet, being very wobbly as she still felt the effects of the muscle buster from earlier. Luckily for her, Quetzalcoatl was still down on the mat, meaning that Annie had a quick response she could give to Quetzalcoatl.

Annie would walk over to Quetzalcoatl and attempt to sit on her back. If that managed to work, she would grab Quetzalcoatl’s head and pull it back, before giving her some elbow smashes to the head.

Quetzalcoatl was still lying on the ground and was not at all expecting her opponent's attacks. When she felt a weight on her back, the Frenchwoman expected to have to take a Camel Clutch or a Boston Crab except that neither move happened. Instead, her head was pulled back and her skull was getting hammered by Annie's elbow smashes.

The Sun Goddess was obviously not going to let this happen, blows to the back of the head were dangerous even for her, it is not for nothing that hitting this place was forbidden in boxing. She then tried to struggle by moving from left to right randomly, just trying to make her opponent lose her balance so that she would fall to the side and stop her repeated attacks which were beginning to knock out Quetzalcoatl.

Annie managed to pull back Quetzalcoatl’s head, and get a couple of forearm smashes to the back of her head. She did this all with a confident smile, as she could feel Quetzalcoatl’s attempts to struggle out of it.

Eventually Annie would get off of Quetzalcoatl on her ow, before grabbing Quetzalcoatl’s hair and attempting to pull her much larger opponent up to her feet. “Hope your ready for a hug.” Annie said before performing her next move.

Annie would then wrap her arms around Quetzalcoatl’s waist, and attempt to elevate her off the ground, looking to lock in a Bearhug on her much larger opponent, that would certainly be a sight to see.

Quetzalcoatl managed to find herself stopping Annie from hitting her head but her situation didn't get any better. She now finds herself forced to get up while having her hair pulled, gently clenching her teeth because of the pain before finding herself crushed between the arms of her opponent, feeling her body being squeezed by Annie who executes a magnificent bearhug.

"Ohhhh!... Not bad miss Clark!.."

Quetzalcoatl closed one eye slightly because of the pain and strangely allowed herself to do so. She looked like she was in pain, but enough for the air to escape from her lungs. The position was uncomfortable but the Sun Goddess was used to having bearhug duels, so she could recover during this time and let Annie tire out before her counterattack.
