Alaina was cleared to work out again after her punishing PPV match and getting ready for her in-ring return to action. Today was less about weights and more about being back inside a ring. She had Danny coming to help her out later but for now the amazon was clad in wrestling attire getting ready to run ropes. She was wearing a tiger print two piece wrestling attire with matching boots and kneepads. Alaina was exiting the locker room and getting ready to head to an empty ring eager to get back to it. She was more than happy to be returning to wrestling and she felt the drive to really prove herself as a worthy champion after that excruciating battle against Bast between the ropes in front of everyone.

Kyoko was dressed and ready to train. After her match at Fight the LAW ended with her victorious Kyoko was already planning what to do for her next title match, it was important that she took charge of these things before someone took over and started giving challenges to unworthy losers that would devalue the status of Kyoko's hard work. Her last match put her knee through hell from Alizeh's submissions, almost making the Queen worry it was a serious injury until she got it checked. Alizeh tweaked it a little, but after taking something to help with the swelling it recovered with only a warning to take it easy or it might get worse. Now she was fine, and still the double champion that brought the Middleweight championship to the glory she said it would, even if doing so only made the rest of the Middleweights hate her more. While she let her leg heal she took a small break from physical activity, and the moment she got the clear from her doctors to train again she was in the gym ready to do so, she couldn't afford to fall behind now that everyone was chasing her and she was in the best condition of her entire life. Fully dressed to train Kyoko was waiting for her trainer, someone picked out by Aozora to help her for the day. She heard footsteps and left her spot thinking it was them, and instead saw none other than Alaina Sanders, the heavyweight champion herself.

"Why are you here? I know Aozora didn't send you?" Kyoko asked the moment she recognized the Amazon in front of her. A legend who was holding what was possibly her last major title. She was old enough to have been a few years into her career around the same time her dad and her grandmother were still active competitors, and still able to stay in her peak physical shape. Naturally it paled compared to the fresh and younger Queen, but Kyoko wasn't dumb enough to think Alaina was washed up just yet, she'd fought and beaten many heavyweights with the only heavyweight to have beaten her in LAW being the Openweight champion herself, she knew that it was full of worthy competitors that Alaina had clawed her way past to take that title. She'd easily be one of the greatest champions today...if Kyoko didn't hold a championship at the same time as her.

Alaina heard the question and turned after a moment, not realizing at first that this woman was speaking to her. As Alaina turned however she saw who is was and a smile appeared on her face. "Who sent me?" Alaina asked looking visibly confused. "I am not sure of who this Aozora is." Alaina added with a shrug before motioning to the rest of the gym.

"I mean it should be obvious why I am here isn't it? I imagine you are here for the same reason right?" Alaina asked. "I have heard a lot about you Kyoko, and everything I heard seems to be true." Alaina added as she stepped towards the middleweight champion with her hands on her hips. If Kyoko wanted to play the pride game then so would Alaina. "For someone with the title belly queen I expected your abs to be... you know... more impressive."

Kyoko rolled her eyes at Alaina. "I know she didn't send you that's what's confusing, the person who was supposed to train with me should be here right now and instead you're here." Kyoko said realizing that whoever she sent is late, and now she had to tell the heavyweight champion to leave if she intended to use that same ring to train. Alaina didn't push the issue, she had another thing on her mind, and started to talk about the Belly Queen herself, but expressed disappointment at the sight of her abs.

"Impressive? You don't think I impress? Then go ahead and name someone whose abs are more impressive, but I've crushed them all. My abs look great and are effective, no one holds a candle to them, especially not you." Kyoko said and then broke the barrier between them by actually reaching out and poking Alaina's stomach to get a slight feel for the amazon's midsection. "Definitely not you." She added.

"You know a lot of women use the gym, so whoever is here isn't just someone your assistant set you up to train with." Alaina said with a small laugh. She could tell she was getting under the skin of the cocky champion just a little and the old champion was all right with that. Kyoko touched Alaina's iron abs as the amazon tensed them up and stood with her hands on her hips. "They feel as good as they look. You should have seen me when I was your age honey." she added with a wink.

"I get it, you are the belly queen. You are the top for mid-section punch for punch contests. You got belly punches I got my slams. We all have our thing don't we?" Alaina said flexing her biceps. "I was made to lift women up holding them as they are powerless in the air at my will, then slamming them so hard the slam sounds like thunder and the ring ropes shake afterward. It is nice and empowering." Alaina said looking Kyoko over. "You are strong and have power but ya don't have amazon power."

Kyoko almost laughed at Alaina trying to gas up her abs. "o you're admitting they're weaker than mine, but trying to tell yourself if you were in your prime they'd be better? I'd love to go back and time and beat up young Alaina to prove you wrong, sadly without a time machine that dream will have to wait." Kyoko said, letting Alaina continue about the kind of things they both did, she was right about her belly punching at least. The champ mainly talked about her amazon power and how she was used to using it to break her opponents with slams they had no hope of recovering from. That clearly had some truth to it, but to say that it was something Kyoko lacked was laughable.

"You have the history to back up the power, but you made one mistake with your assessment. I also have that kind of power Name every heavyweight that's ever fought me, or look at some of my matches against them here, watch them feel helpless in my arms as I squeeze the life out of them, or overpowered and crushed them. If I wanted to I could jump weights and become the Heavyweight champ without changing a thing about how I fight, I can slam and squeeze anyone in my way." Kyoko said bringing her arm up and flexing it in front of the heavyweight champ.

Alaina chuckled and clapped her hands as Kyoko spoke of leaving larger women powerless in her arms. Alaina didn't doubt her, but she couldn't help but find the bravado amusing. "Darling, you are too funny. Yeah you are a strong woman, you are a champion for a reason. I've beaten women of all sizes too though, and if you think beating other heavyweights somehow means you could overpower or beat me you are completely insane." Alaina said. "You have your belly punches, I have a hall of fame career of in-ring accolades. So far I've left three women who challenged for my title with undefeated records left laid out in the ring at my feet while I stood tall in victory over them. You are impressive Kyoko don't get me wrong, but if you think you would beat me in a ring or compare to my power you are nuts." Alaina said flexing her arms next to Kyoko's arms to show the difference.

While she actually could respect her arrogance as a champ for someone of her age, being talked down to by someone like her reminded her too much of her damn grandmother who was adamant she'd never get far doing things her way. It only made Kyoko desire to cut down Alaina's confidence even more. "I don't just have belly punches, I have an almost decade long career of accolades that take people's entire careers to accomplish. Last year I took on Wyvern who boasted she'd never been pinned before and was crazy enough to do anything she wanted if it meant winning still couldn't stop me. At the recent PPV...You know the one where you failed to put away your opponent, I took on Alizeh Midori, that cocky little middleweight who beat you and pulverized her in the best Main Event LAW's ever seen. With just 2 title defenses I'm already doing the best of any champion who's held this belt, that includes your bff Tina who only won this belt first because I wasn't allowed to compete in that tournament for in it, which is why she ducked any challenge I made the entire time she lost it. And that's not even getting into how we won the belts. You won yours in a triple threat match where you and your buddy Kat had to pick apart Astrid together to finally bring her down and then you couldn't even beat the champ, you had to pin Kat to do it. If I won it that way the first thing I'd do is give the champ a one on one match to prove myself, so the fact that you didn't and instead went after newer faces with less experience while Astrid went after the other Astrid...kinda says something doesn't it?" Kyoko said mockingly getting in her fellow champ's face.

"Compare that to the way I won it. Apex, LAW's biggest hunt for a championship, with me tearing through the combatants and taking my only loss in the past 2 years to the eventual winner Astrid Arvidson in a hardcore match. Besides that I was beating people even if they tried to outnumber me, if they were bigger or smaller and even if they were undefeated or in a match they said was their specialty. Then when I beat my opponent in the middle of the ring by myself, LAW had no choice but to name me a champion, of all the competition that was fighting for a spot the first prize went to me. Dan even told me he wouldn't recommend I take the Middleweight championship because he knew I could make a strong case for the Openweight one." Kyoko bragged. "I'm not popular back there, at all. The fact that they told me that I stood above all others and could've won either belt tells a bigger story than you ever lived through. I'm a champion that everyone's been looking for forever, and now that I'm here I'm going to show them the most versatile champion wrestling's ever seen. If you think I'm not a match for your power or you, I think that brain is starting to go." Kyoko finished.

Alaina crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. "Honey if you have to talk that much to make a point you are gaslighting yourself. I want to face Astrid but was told that after going for the open weight title she didn't want to fight for the heavyweight title. I also didn't work with Kat to tear her down, watch the match it speaks for itself." Alaina said with a shrug. "You did win Apex. I also won in Apex, but I was already a champion so I wasn't chosen. Again you ramble on and omit key facts but I think we need to go head to head so I can show you exactly what I can do." Alaina said with a smile as she stepped up to Kyoko. "Does that sound good or is the blustery loud mouth gonna get cold feet after talking non-stop?"

Kyoko didn't care about a word limit, and she didn't think that it mattered how long she wanted to talk if it got her point across. Alaina wanted to discuss key facts so the Belly Queen would give them, and she'd do so for however long she wanted. "So you took that insult lying down and just let her walk away? I'm going to make the Middleweight championship the must see belt, you won't do the same letting stuff like that slide." Kyoko said, almost sounding like she was giving Alaina advice before she switched back to a more arrogant tone. "And don't pretend that your belt is the reason you didn't claim a prize at Apex. Everyone was eligible for a chance to win the Openweight, even fellow champions which is why they could compete...You didn't win anything because they decided you didn't deserve to win anything at Apex." Kyoko taunted. Alaina's challenge did intrigue her but she wondered if it would even be allowed, fighting different weight classes was one thing but two champs only clashed like that once before and was treated as big as any title match even with none of the championships on the line.

"I've fought in mudholes if it meant I got my chance to shut a bitch up, the prospect of a fight doesn't scare me Alaina. Name me any challenge in the world and I'll do it. It doesn't even have to be a fight, I'm so good I can beat you at anything." Kyoko said confidently, showing zero fear a the thought of putting herself up against the heavyweight champion.
