Jessie is a fearless daredevil. An adrenaline junkie and hardcore masochist who never backs away from a fight. In fact, she's been known to instigate them if a competitor seems capable. She can't stand boredom, and is always looking for some trouble to get herself into.

Jessie Hellberg got her start in wrestling in her family's backyard with her three brothers and their friends. They were resistant to the idea at first, but the tomboy insisted.
By way of running up to one said friends as he emerged from the shack that they'd staged as their entrance point and dropkicking him in the head before he could make it to their makeshift ring so she can be in a match instead.
The boys obliged her, but this would lead to a hazing campaign that was intended to scare her away: Stiff shots, rougher slams that were often just throws, harder hits whenever weapons got involved (which, with their being fans of hardcore wrestling, happened often), and even a tag team match that would turn into a surprise three-on-one handicap match.
Their efforts did nothing but make her realize that she liked pain. Jessie loved it more and more the worse it got, and seeing this, the boys would ultimately decide to scrap their backyard shenanigans entirely. Much to her chagrin.
This would inspire her to take up training for the real deal, where she would thrive under the tutelage of the now retired instructor known as Will Devoe, who had become infamous after stories of his abuse of trainees came to light.
Her extreme masochism made her one of his favorite targets. Believing that she wasn't taking him seriously enough, he made it his mission to break her with his drills.
He'd often break her body, but not her spirit.
After completing his “training”, Jessie would find work in a hardcore independent circuit, quickly gathering renown for her insane antics, the most famous being lighting herself aflame before leaping from the rafters and onto the then champion who lied stunned on a table below.
Indeed, that would be the thing that caught the eye of an LAW recruiter, who approached her with a contract. Upon being assured that the company offered the kind of violence that she'd partaken in before, she signed it.

Beat the shit out of the opponent and hope they're strong enough to do the same to her. Jessie may showcase her wrestling training here and there, but all in all, she prefers to brawl it out with her opponents, never shying away from the use of weapons. She also switches things up on the hand-to-hand front with flashier self-taught martial arts movements, mainly kicks, and has a marked tendency of taking to the skies.
Her masochism makes her take hits (and sometimes deliver them to herself, directly or no) that smarter, more rational competitors wouldn't, but the damage would energize her. Up until it accumulates to the point of being debilitating, that is. But reaching that point is her ultimate goal.
A weak opponent who can't challenge her will be brutalized out of anger and frustration. Weakness bores her, and she can't stand boredom.

A match with Bloody Paradise rules has no disqualification by default, with the added condition that a pinfall, submission, or orgasm against a competitor will only count if said competitor is bleeding. Falls count anywhere.

A Kombat Pit match is a no disqualification bout where the ring (which may or may not have ropes) is surrounded by beds of long, razor sharp nails. The only way to win is by knockout.
