Personality: In the ring Kimiko is quite, reserved, fully focused on the match, though if put against a friend or someone she highly respects she can be a bit more playful and joke around though she won't hold back. Outside of the ring she can truly be a goof if not an awkward one. Kimiko's awkward side can present itself quite vividly during conversations with her either taking something too literal or remaining awkwardly silent. Despite her awkward faults Kimiko is loyal to her friends and family and would do anything to help them.

Born in a temple in the mountains of Japan Kimiko never experienced a lot of the outside world except for some small towns. Kimiko's family had a line of wrestlers in it though that line seemingly ended when her father decided not to pursue it after a near fatal injury early in his career when he was still training, instead her chose to stay and maintain the temple and meeting her mother in a nearby town a few years later having six children including Kimiko.
Kimiko was completely home schooled, learning English from her mother along with her three bothers and two sisters. When she was twelve years old she wandered into her grandfather's hut she discovered a trunk under his cot and in it she found tons of old photos and newspaper clippings from his days long ago as a wrestler and she became fascinated. Kimiko looked through and read each clipping for over and hour before her father and grandfather came walking in. Her father being less than amused that she went through someone else's stuff and her grandfather seeming to be completely fine with it and rather glad she found it, going so far as to stop her father from scolding her over it.
The next day Kimiko asked her grandpa about wrestling and leaned her great grandfather and his father before him were wrestlers. From that moment Kimiko felt like it was her purpose, her meaning, her birthright to wrestle, asking her grandfather to train her. Her grandpa agreed to teach her the basics though with two conditions. The first condition was that he wanted her to follow a tradition of training with someone outside of the family after he taught and prepared her. The the other condition was that she would begin physical training first.
Kimiko agreed and began to physically train the very next week. As part of her training her grandpa began having her preform more physically demanding labor around the temple as well as carrying heavy rocks on long weekly hikes that her Grandpa accompanied her on around the area, the mountainous and hilly terrain only helping her buildup her strength and endurance.
She physically trained for two years before her grandpa began teaching her moves and the basics while having her father actually demonstrate and having her oldest brother serve as a practice dummy for some of the less painful moves. Her grand father also had her brother learn some submissions as so that Kimiko would have to learn to endure and escape them. Kimiko would physically train and then practice every other day, never doing both in the same day.
When Kimiko turned eighteen her Grandpa put her through the most physically challenging test yet, doing her usual training as well as her move training in the same day with no breaks, even going to far as to make the hike even longer and adding more rocks to the usual load, by the time they got back from the hike Kimiko was already tired yet her grandpa insisted she continued though this time instead of her usual move practice, he would test her in a spar against her father.
Kimiko looked weary and like she could pass out, and her father did not hold back immediately taking down a tired Kimiko with a leg sweep before locking in a crossface, Kimiko wanted to give up then and there but her grandpa simple watched and encouraged her to escape or endure to which she eventually escaped and rolled away looking winded at best though she was given no time to rest. Her father surged forward spearing her and knocking what little wind she had left out of her leaving her winded on the ground and not moving. Kimiko's father was a tad annoyed being made to go this hard on his own daughter but her never the less continued locking in a camel clutch causing Kimiko to cry out in agony, yet again her grandpa told her to escape, this time it took Kimiko another agonizing three minutes to work up the strength though this time Kimiko followed it up locking in a figure four leg lock and causing her father to give relatively easily.
Her grandpa then clapped joined by the rest of her family as she passed his final test. The next day Kimiko laid in bed, every part of her body was sore. She did nothing until her grandpa revealed her signed her up for a program, LAW's young lioness program. Kimiko was intrigued and was told it was to develop her skills and find her a trainer to complete her family's tradition. Excited Kimiko began to pack and was picked up by a cab a week later and went to Tokyo, eager and a bit nervous to start her career in LAW.
