After several unsuccessful attempts to reach Hiro through his girlfriend and sister, Rekka handed the phone back to Kenzo, Hiro's best friend, with a concerned expression.
"It looks like Hiro's tied up with something important. I'll just shoot him a text instead,"
Rekka said, tapping out a message on his phone.
"Hey Hiro, it's Rekka. I'm at your gym with Kenzo, Sylva, and Fang. We've been looking for you. Let's catch up soon. Hope everything's okay,"
Rekka typed, hoping for a swift response.
As the message sent, Rekka couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. His instincts told him that something was amiss. Turning to Kenzo, he voiced his concerns. "Kenzo, do you have any idea where Hiro might be?" Rekka inquired.
Kenzo, a stalwart figure with a calm demeanor, pondered for a moment before responding.
"Hiro's been spending a lot of time at the rehab center with Fang. She's been making great progress, but it's been a lot of work for both of them. I'm sure he's just caught up with that. Let's give him some time to respond,"
Kenzo suggested, his voice tinged with reassurance.
Rekka nodded, acknowledging Kenzo's words. As he mulled over the situation, a sudden beep from his phone signaled an incoming message. It was Hiro.
"Sorry, Rekka. Things have been hectic with my girlfriend's rehab. She had a neck and spinal injury...I hope you understand. Thanks for reaching out. Let's catch up tomorrow. I'll make time for us. Take care,"
Hiro's message read, punctuated with a reassuring tone.
Relieved to hear from Hiro, Rekka let out a deep breath, his earlier worries dissipating.
"Good to hear from him. Looks like everything's under control. We'll catch up tomorrow,"
Rekka said, a sense of relief washing over him.
As Rekka composed the message to Hiro, he also decided to address an unresolved matter. He added a few more lines to the text before hitting send.
"Hey Hiro, one more thing. I know you're upset with Kenzo. I think you guys need to talk about it. I don't know what's going on, but it seemed like Kenzo really wants to talk to you and sort things out. Anyway Take care and let's catch up soon."
As Rekka sent the last message, Hiro didn't respond back...it seemed that Hiro was contemplating if he should talk to Kenzo or not...but nonetheless Rekka did his job as he got up and left Kenzo alone in his office to reflect about the situation.

Re: Resilient Bonds
Sylva had not received word yet from Fang. She knew that her sister would be okay, but until then, she needed something to take her off what was going on.
She would find out what was going on from her sister, but until then, she’d have to play the waiting game.
She heard and saw Rekka coming out of Kenzo’s office.
“Heard anything from Hiro?” Sylva asked Rekka.

Rekka shook his head, his expression reflecting a mix of concern and understanding.
"Not yet, Sylva. But Hiro did say he'd talk to Kenzo and sort things out. I'm sure they'll work through it,"
He responded, his voice filled with reassurance.

Re: Resilient Bonds
Sylva didn't shift her body, but heard what Rekka said.
"Yeah, well I don't trust Kenzo." Sylva said rather dismissively and bluntly. She was a bit annoyed that she had talked to someone that was giving Fang a hard time. What did Fang do to deserve that bullshit? Either way, Sylva would not (at least to her) get it from Kenzo.
"And I guess that also means Hiro won't be seeing you just yet," Sylva commented, "Which means you are in the same boat as I am. Since I have to wait on my sister to get back to me." The two of them did indeed have nothing really to do at the moment; given that the people they were looking for were indisposed.

Re: Resilient Bonds
Rekka raised an eyebrow, considering Sylva's words.
"Yeah, it seems we're both stuck waiting,"
he remarked, a hint of frustration and slight dissapoinment in his voice as he didn't get to see his friend Hiro.
Rekka glanced around the gym, noticing the restless energy of the people gathered there.
"You know,"
he said, a thoughtful look crossing his face,
"there might be a way to make the most of this downtime. We have a gym full of eager spectators, and I happen to know a thing or two about wrestling,"
Rekka said with a sly grin underneath his mask
"What do you say we give them a show? A friendly exhibition match, just to pass the time and entertain the crowd."

Re: Resilient Bonds
Sylva was considering just leaving until Rekka made that suggestion. A friendly little match to entertain the crowd. Could be a fun idea.
“Aren’t we looking for a fun time.” Sylva jokingly teased, “I can say that this place does need something exciting to go on.” She too noticed the restless attendants that definitely needed some kind of action. She turned around to face Rekka.
“And what type of match did you have in mind?” Sylva asked while examing Rekka.

Re: Resilient Bonds
Rekka pondered for a moment, scratching his head as he contemplated the type of match they should have.
"You know what? Let's keep it simple and go for a standard one,"
he suggested, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Considering it's our first time meeting, we wouldn't want to go too crazy, right?"
Looking around the gym, Rekka noticed the curious gazes fixed upon him. With a confident smirk, he decided to make things interesting.
"Hey, everyone! How about we spice things up with a match between me and Sylvia over here?"
he called out, his voice echoing through the room.
The spectators exchanged intrigued whispers, captivated by the unexpected turn of events. Rekka and Sylvia, both skilled competitors, were about to engage in a friendly yet intense showdown.
"Alright then, let's stick to the standard rules,"
Rekka declared, addressing the eager crowd.
"But don't worry, we'll keep it friendly and fair. Right Mamacita?"
Rekka stood before Sylvia, hands confidently placed on his hips, a mischievous chuckle escaping from beneath his mask.

Re: Resilient Bonds
Sylva nodded at the idea of making it a simple, standard match. Of course, she picked up the meaning with the "too crazy" part from Rekka, which amused her. She listened to Rekka make the announcement as the spectators in the area were immediately intrigued by the idea. As the crowd started to gather, Sylva turned back to Rekka, who mentioned about keeping it friendly and fair. She did catch the mischievous smirk, which was answered with a smirk of her own.
"I know a man with a plan when I see one." Sylva responded, "But, I'll play along. This should be entertaining." Sylva would make her way up to the ring and step inside. As she stretched, she watched Rekka enter as well.
"How about a wager." Sylva said to Rekka, "Loser buys the drinks."

Re: Resilient Bonds
Rekka couldn't help but chuckle at Sylvia's proposal, admiring her competitive nature.
"You're on,"
he responded,
"But just so you know, be ready to foot the bill for the drinks because I have no intention of losing."
Their playful banter injected an extra dose of excitement into the upcoming match, heightening the anticipation of the eager spectators who had gathered to witness the showdown.
As the two contenders positioned themselves in the ring, the atmosphere in the gym crackled with electric energy, and the buzz of the spectators in the gym grew louder with each passing moment. It was clear that this friendly competition was about to kick off, promising a thrilling showcase of skill and sportsmanship.
Rekka took a moment to remove his jacket, revealing his well-toned upper body, and flexed his muscles, putting on a show for the onlookers before stepping into the ring.
With a nod exchanged between them, Rekka and Sylvia prepared to engage, Rekka taking his stance in the center of the ring, hands on his hips, curious to see what Sylvia had in store for him.

Re: Resilient Bonds
"Actually, it will be you who will have to make sure that you got enough money in the wallet." Sylva jokingly commented as she removed her jacket and revealing her standard attire. She nodded with Rekka as the match would begin. The crowd began to cheer as Sylva took her spot in the center of the ring.
And soon, the bell would ring for the match to begin.
How would Sylva start off this match? Rekka was bigger and physically bulkier than her, so she had to do what she did with that jerk James; several precise shots and strikes. She would bring her arms up and take a boxer poser. She was not looking to hit Rekka at this time, but wanted to push him on the defensive a little; test the waters.
She threw a couple of punch jabs and and brought her leg up for a quick kick.
Again, she was not really trying to hit Rekka, but kinda tease him a bit and make him back up a bit. She was gauging how would react.
