Amelia Kunisada vs Aarna Mehta
Standard Match
Victory via pinfall, submission, KO, count-out, or disqualification

"Ohh... Why me?!?"
"Oh, don't be sad.... It's good to get into matches soon!"
"Yeah but... I would have wanted to debut with you! I would have wanted to debut together!"
"Ohh, Amelia... I know, I know... Me too. But tag team matches are much more rare than singles ones here... You know that!"
"Yes, yes..."
"Besides, you have plenty of experience from fighting in matches on your own!"
"Yes, but... Not here!!!"
"This is just as... Just as any other league!"
"No it's not! The arena is huge! There's all kinds of really strong, really skilled opponents here!"
"Ohh Amelia... Don't do this to yourself now. Confidence, remember? Confidence!"
"Yeah, yeah... OK, OK... Just promise that you'll look after me from the ringside, OK?"
"Uhh, I-... Ummm..."
"What, Sera? What?!?"
"They... I... They told me I have to stay here."
"No, Sera, NO!!!"
"Oh, Amelia, I'm sorry! They said that I can't! They told that otherwise I might intervene! Or something... And you know that we always obey rules and instructions, always!"
"But... *sigh*"
"Listen. I looked her up. Your opponent. Aarna Mehta. She's a very good opponent for you!"
"Why... How do you mean?"
"She's very similar to you! She's your size! A lightweight too... Almost at least."
"She's not even a lightweight!?"
"Oh, come on! Remember, your style! It works well even against bigger opponents! Confidence! Besides, I also looked up her record, and..."
"And?!"
"And I'll just say that... It didn't look very stellar. I know, I know that you've got good chances against her, Amelia!"
"*sigh* OK, Sera, OK..."
"Now, calm down. It's your time to go! Show them what you've got!"
"Yes Sera, yes... I'll do my best. As always!"

Amelia Kunisada - La Liana Rosa
Image
Entrance theme: YoSoyMatt – La Niña del Volcán (Polocorp Remix) (feat. Eva de Marce)

As she could hear their entrance tunes filling the arena, Amelia Kunisada collected her composure and began making her way towards the ring, leaving her sister Serafina to watch the match backstage. It wasn't an easy feat, as her debut was turning out to be way different from what she had imagined... Instead of debuting as their tag team, Lucha Liana, together with her sister, she had already been placed in a singles match of her own, and the information had unsettled Amelia quite a bit... More than it should have, really. Usually, it was Serafina who was more concerned over her sister, who was eagerly getting into battles on her own... Probably the fact that it had been on a very short notice was the main cause behind it... It was almost as if there was some last minute cancellation for another wrestler, and management had assigned Amelia to cover for her. Go figure.

In any case, her sister was right. She should have been happy to get a match! She should have been confident in her capabilities! And going through that mantra over and over again while making her way down the ramp was actually helping La Liana Rosa to appear very calm and collected indeed, contrary to how she had just been backstage. She wasn't paying much attention to the crowds though, simply strolling towards the ring... Truth was, the LAW arena was the biggest she had ever wrestled in, and not paying attention to that fact was helping the debuting wrestler to contain her nerves.

Reaching the apron, Amelia proceeded to do her usual entrance manouvers by getting up onto a turnbuckle to greet the audience of the night in a calm and collected manner. Then, jumping up inside the ring, the girl performed a Somersault before landing gracefully on the mat, and proceeding to the center of the ring to bow for the crowds in the traditional Japanese way to each direction. There, she finally took a moment to really take in the whole arena for a few seconds, before retreating to her corner to wait for her opponent.

Re: Amelia Kunisada (D) vs Aarna Mehta - A Transcendent Welcome

Venom by Icon for Hire began to play as the stage started to light up in an array of colors. Aarna Mehta would then come out onto the stage as the music picked up more intensely with a smile on her face. The Indian girl took a moment to bow her head and press her hands together in front of her in a small prayer before jogging down the ramp with both arms out, dressed in a new attire that got cheers of approval from the audience! A new attire was just the start: The Transcendent needed more change. She had been on a losing streak and was looking for her first win, and despite her jovial entrance, Aarna was looking hard to get her win.

She knew with this one match, it could turn everything around. And so the Indian girl was determined to take it to her opponent and try to take her down. She had studied up, practiced, and done everything she felt she could to get ready for this match. Her opponent was a rookie, which meant Mehta had a good shot at winning this. Not nearly enough research material on her for Aarna's liking, but she had enough to devise a plan for Amelia Kunisada.

Sucking in a deep breath, Aarna Mehta jogged up the ring steps and then ascended the corner. She unfurled her head piece, revealing a beautiful red shawl that flowed behind her, revealing the full length of her long, white hair. She got to the top of the corner and then did a short hop of of it, going into a roll and kneeling on one knee as she held her arms out, managing to finish the little flashiness of her entrance before going to her corner, eagerly, and anxiously, waiting for the start of this match as she starred down Amelia, chewing on her lip and being ready to start taking it to her immediately!

Getting the spotlight finally off of her towards her opponent's entrance felt like an immense short-term relief for Amelia. For a moment she could completely relax, get her head straight and focus on the task ahead. But pretty much as soon as her opponent's music had begun airing, feelings of unease crept inside La Liana Rosa once again... Especially as the words "venom" and "misery" sounded rather ominous. Was she facing an evil heel?

Those concerns got gradually alleviated though as soon as she could actually see her opponent. Making a small prayer at the entrance was certainly peculiar, and raised Amelia's confidence towards the girl's morals. The audience also seemed to like her... Which was obviously both good and bad news for the debuting ninja. Her opponent had to be likable... But then again, the crowds probably wouldn't mind herself losing. Aarna getting up onto the turnbuckle and undoing her head piece looked curious, and the way she jumped into the ring certainly gave an impression of similar agility compared to Amelia's own. The woman looked rather exotic as well, probably Indian, although the white hair was peculiar... But one thing was for sure, in her attire, she really looked like a true pro wrestler!

Amelia was probably expecting to meet her opponent in the middle, but instead, she proceeded straight to her corner and began a tense staredown between the two. Obviously, Amelia was trying to assess her opponent, while Aarna looked almost like as if she was ready to tear the debuting rookie apart... Or that's at least the way Amelia got intimidated by her gaze. Becoming a bit more nervous again, La Liana Rosa definitely decided that she wasn't going to be the one making the first move. Instead, she should try to use her speed to outrun and outsmart her opponent.

*DING!*

Right after the bell had rung, Amelia slowly took a few steps towards the center of the ring... But didn't go all the way. Instead, she stopped to give the traditional Japanese bow as a sign of respect towards her opponent, before retreating towards her own corner again... And then once again starting to pace towards the middle again, as the ninja realized that she had just unintentionally cornered herself. All the time, she was trying to read what Aarna was planning on doing...

Aarna Mehta stretched,, sighing as she looked at Amelia. The girl was nervous. A sort of nervousness that begot a newbie. And the sort of nervousness that... suggested that she was afraid of her? Canting her head a bit, she gave that some thought, considering that. Her gameplan, changing in real time as she thought about Kunisada. Standing upright when the bell rang, the Transcendent began to walk to the center of the ring... getting into a grappling pose before pausing, seeing that her opponent wasn't going to meet her in the center.

And then, a small smirk leaked onto her face and she gave a nod to her opponent. It became clear what she needed to do. She had the mental advantage, and the experience, and the emotional advantage now. If she kept it together and just didn't worry. And Amelia was then placed right in front of the corner. Perfect placement. She would make sure to take full advantage of that.

With a sudden charge, the Indian girl went right at Amelia with a blistering burst of speed. And a moment later, she threw a shotgun dropkick towards her foe's chest, looking to blast her hard and send her body careening towards turnbuckles, for a double smash of pain! A great way to get an early start, and one that Aarna felt she needed too.

Making the small Japanese bow for her opponent was always very important for Amelia, but this time she had completed it just a little bit too late. It was always better to perform it before the bell would ring, and not risking it to leading any surprise attacks taking advantage of it... But hey, this was her debut match after all, so a little rookie mistake was just going to be expected, right?

Besides, there was no surprise attack coming that would have taken advantage of her bow... Only of her mistimed actions. When Amelia was once again retreating to her corner, she only then realized that Aarna Mehta had settled into the center of the ring, and she was in a grappling stance... And while Amelia wasn't particularly keen on testing her strength against her, she wasn't going to be cowardly enough to turn down the challenge! So, eventually, La Liana Rosa started making her way towards the center of the ring, to meet the Indian wrestler there...

But her decision turned out to come too late! The Transcendent fighter had already interpreted her actions as fear and hesitance, and decided to take full advantage of that! Amelia had no clue about her plans, and as she saw her starting to take steps towards her, the ninja simply thought that she was coming a bit closer to meet her... But it turned out to be a big mistake, as the Shotgun Dropkick quickly found Aarna's boots connecting with Amelia's chest! The Mexican-Japanese girl's ample brests flattened from the impact, but they weren't the only ones as the kick sent her falling abruptly backwards, causing her upper back and the back of her head to get smashed against the turnbuckle, while her arms got draped across the middle ropes... Leaving the rookie struggling with the worst possible start! "Owww..." Oh no!

Aarna Mehta hit the mat after absolutely planting her boots right into Amelia's chest! She got right back up immediately as she watched Amelie recoil from impact on the turnbuckle! The Transcendent was on an early lead--her best one yet. Her plan had to be to keep moving. Keep attacking. Keep tearing down her opponent with offense. Her chest, back, head. All targets now. Mehta had identified them and went to work.

This was her opening to maintain her early advantage and get her first win off of this rookie. She wasn't sure how savvy the girl was, but with each action, she had a better idea. With each inaction, she had another idea. It was all adding up into Mehta's head early, and she was becoming more confident than ever. This was it. This was the match she finally figured it all out and got it. She just needed one win now.

She approached Amelia and then roughly pushed her back against the turnbuckle fully. She wanted her upright as she held a hand under her chin. "I'd like to welcome you to LAW!" exclaimed Aarna with a big smile. And then, the Indian girl would release the chin, only to immediately make a strike directly after. A knife-edged chop, being sent right towards Kunisada's exposed chest, looking to hit it hard with a loud smack!

Re: Amelia Kunisada (D) vs Aarna Mehta - A Transcendent Welcome

Amelia really should have tried her best to get as advantageous start as possible, but instead, she was quickly managing to make herself look like a hapless rookie. It had taken virtually no time for Aarna Mehta to get off to a dominant start, and to get the debutant already reeling against a corner... Clearly proving a point about being the more experienced wrestler in the ring tonight, and showcasing some mental and physical superiority over her lightweight opponent.

Amelia instead knew that she was in a bad position, and tried to take yet another look at her opponent's body to determine even better what she was dealing with. The recent dropkick guaranteed that her gaze stuck especially at the legs and boots of the Indian girl, noting that her thighs looked rather toned and appealing indeed... But Amelia for sure had to stay as far away from them as possible. Frankly, she also was supposed to stay as far away from this corner as possible, so the ninja began quickly trying to scramble herself more sturdily back up to her two feet.

La Liana Rosa had time to take a couple of steps towards her opponent, before the Indian girl abruptly pushed her back against the corner. The ninja was ready to deliver a random chop at her opponent, but its effects proved to be negligible for Aarna... Instead, the white-haired girl promptly cupped her chin, delivering some seemingly friendly words... And while the situation appeared rather ominous, the ninja had to still reply to them too. "Oh, well, thank yo-... KYAAAA!" the knife-edge chop to Amelia's chest cut her response short, while she had to bend slightly forward from the impact. The ninja's relatively loose attire also granted some marked fanservice, with her breasts left jiggling by the vicious impact... But it was also obvious that the chop had left her defenseless at the Indian's hands for now.

Re: Amelia Kunisada (D) vs Aarna Mehta - A Transcendent Welcome

The knife-edged chop echoed out into the crowd and Aarna Mehta looked particularly proud of that one, preening happily at the gasp from the crowd! She felt like she was on top of the world now, and that was a rarity for the Transcendent who was often too far in her own head most times. "There's more where that came from!" exclaimed Mehta, feeling herself in a big way!

She would then her back against Amelia's front, forcing her upright against the turnbuckle! She grabbed hold of Amelia's head with both hands this time. Lifting a leg, she would then tumble forward with Kunisada in tow, performing a rolling snapmare, jerking Amelia by her neck as Aarna was rolling through the maneuver and popping to her feet immediately after her ninja opponent was sitting upright.

And then in a fluid motion, Aarna would perform a spin on one foot and swing with a vicious kick directly towards Amelia's already throbbing chest! A simple maneuver meant to wind and cause further pain to her chest! A simple, simple plan that she loved to execute! One that made her feel powerful! She just hoped to hit so she could continue this thrilling offense!

Amelia wasn't apparently the only one left gasping for air after Aarna Mehta's knife-edged chop, as the crowds were apparently shocked by ther Indian girl's offense as well! Maybe they weren't used to seeing such a dominant form from her, but to Amelia, she obviously had no idea how the Transcendent was usually as an opponent inside ring! Right now it was proving though that she was quite a vicious one, and that was obviously bad news for the debuting rookie.

La Liana Rosa had no time to regain her composure, before Aarna was already setting her up for another move. Thus, grabbing hold of the babyface's head, and tumbling her over with the rolling snapmare went completely unresisted, as the lightweight girl was pulled down to the mat, and finally ending up sitting upright again. It was already making the rookie a bit dizzy, but she still had time to turn her head towards her standing opponent once again, before...

"KYAAAAA!!!" Amelia's chest was getting no mercy from Aarna Mehta, as this time it was her leg that hit her throbbing chest hard! The impact was hard enough to send the white and red-clad ninja falling backwards, leaving her slender yet large-chested body reeling spreadeagle on the mat. Amelia was already buried in some desperate thoughts... "Oh no... She's really vicious... Not at all like how Sera promised me!"

Re: Amelia Kunisada (D) vs Aarna Mehta - A Transcendent Welcome

Unread post by Dubski »

Aarna had rolled through that snapmare, keeping Amelia sitting upright still. It was going exactly like Mehta wanted, and the Transcendent's kick swung and smashed directly into her rookie opponent's chest! Kunisada went down and Aarna did a quick arm pump in celebration. She took Amelia down with another huge move that rattled the sternum of her opponent, and was definitely going to keep making it harder for her to breathe.

It was almost a perfect match so far--Aarna Mehta never expected it. And it was making it more confident beyond what she could imagine! This was her match to lose at this point, and she was amped up and ready to take out Amelia right now! The Indian girl looked down at Amelia and then turned her back, preening happily. It was just more offensive in her favor now!

Suddenly, Aarna would then leap into the air in a beautiful backflip, looking to land on top of Amelia Kunisada with a standing moonsault! If she could crush Amelia underneath her, Mehta would then attempt to hook a leg and go for a pin! She didn't expect it to win the match, but she expected it to keep Amelia off her game and be in a panic that Aarna could put this match away at any moment! And keeping Amelia's already nervous and uncertain self off-center this whole time was bound to pay off for her going forward!
