Midnight and the Angel - Karen Meadows vs Megumi Mutoh

The match was bringing out the worst of Karen as she seemed intent to cause as much pain for Megumi as possible before putting her down. Her eyes looked at the ring briefly before she loomed back over the hurting girl on the floor who was going to be feeling that barricade on her back for a good while after Karen was done with her. Which at this rate wouldnt be too long from now.

"Alright Megumi get up.." She muttered, mostly to herself as she waited for her to start pushing up so that Karen could knock her down with one big kick that was sure to rattle her head and really add to the beating she had endured throughout the match.

Exhausted and hurting, Megumi knew that she shouldn't stay down too long, so she would get back up, almost buckling under her weight. "Gahh... nghh..." she grunted, using the barricade to pull herself up. She saw Karen before her, and it looked like she was about to launch an attack. Through her spotty vision, she focused on what Karen was about to do before she saw her launching a kick at her.

Her instinct kicking in, Megumi would try to catch the incoming kick. With a desperate roar, Megumi would try to twist Karen's leg, looking to send her crashing down into the floor with a dragon screw!

The way Megumi looked you'd think the ability to fight back would have been taken from her by now and Karen would be able to put the finishing touches on her attacks. Though as she would have had it, Megumi seemed to have a bit left in her, or maybe it was all just some last ditch instincts that paid off. Either way when her foot came to take her head off it just met the girls hands once more as Karen was left shocked.

"Shit! AAgggh!" Karen screamed as she was subjected to another big corkscrew tossing her down and making sure her side met the hard floor once again. Her body jerked from the very uncomfortable impact as she twisted and turned in place. Her legs kicking around as she tried to adjust to the returning pain.

Despite successfully taking Karen with the dragon screw, Megumi herself was on her last legs and practically running on fumes. It's been a while since the last time she was reduced to this state, indicating that Karen was a very formidable opponent. And as the two of them didn't have much time left, Megumi decided to deal a final blow, and a final blow it would be as she would climb up the barricade, balancing herself on it.

While her ankle was still aching from before, she ignored the pain before she did one last haphazard moonsault off of the barricade, looking to land belly first right on top of Karen! The landing would also take a lot out of her, leaving her barely conscious.

"SEVEN!"

The count didnt even seem to matter at this point, Karen couldn't reach it if she wanted to, she had no clue what it was even at anymore as she was too busy tending to herself to hear and likely it would just end in her trying and failing to enter the ring. Though for some reason she still felt her body trying to go for it. Her wrestlers mentality refusing to let her quit from the looks of things. Megumi was going for it as well, though not in the sense that Karen had expected, instead she watched the girl take to the barricade and look down at her, with the girl looking downright shocked at her antics before suddenly she jumped and she ended up watching the Genuis drop down on her belly to belly as the impact crushed her between the girl and the floor.

"Ouuuufff!" Karen sprawled out on the floor, coughing weakly as she felt her hands try to push the brunette off of her but she lacked the strength to remove such weight without help. And worse she felt like she couldn't even muster the strength to stand or push herself up. Her mind focused on wanting to rest on the floor something every other part of her tried and failed to resist as it was like her body just shut down.

That moonsault not only crushed whatever left in Karen, the impact also left Megumi a dazed wreck on top of her. The two of them were still outside the ring, and in order for one of them to be announced the winner of the match, one of them had to enter the ring first before the referee counted up to ten. But at this point, Megumi had no strength left in her to even stand up, so she remained on top of Karen, unable to move, panting heavily.

The crowd were split between cheering Megumi and cheering Karen, urging either of them to get back into the ring. But it looked like neither of them seemed capable of getting back into the squared circle before their time ran out.

"NINE!"

The move would have ended things in the ring, even if by the virtue that Megumi couldn't get off her and Karen couldn't force her off. But it came from them being out of the ring and no amount of fan support could get Karen to do more then whine in pain and push on Megumi Looking up she saw the ref's fingers as she counted signifying how far the count was...too far to do anything with the time she had.

At best she might be able to push the brunette off of her but that would be a personal victory at best. And honestly she was soo tired and ready to take a nap that it didnt seem to be worth the strain to do it. Instead her head fell back to the floor in frustration and exhaustion as the crowd tried to egg one of them to do the impossible and the ref kept counting.

"TEN!"

None of them managed to get back into the ring after the time ran out. With both wrestlers counted out, the referee declared that the match ended with a no contest. The ringside workers came over to both Megumi and Karen, checking them up.

At the end, both of them would be brought out of the arena with the help of the paramedics. They would soon need to get medical check up to see whether there were any injuries that they got during their match.
