Spiking the Goose - Hilda Martin vs Lennox “Thornette” Rose

Hilda crashed into the steel post shoulder first. That would hurt the angry goose as she pulled away from it, stumbling back. However, her opponent would be on top of things in this match as Hilda received a huge stomp to the back of her knee. That would cause Hilda to take a knee near the corner, which impromptu Lennox to push her into the corner and stomp at her. The referee eventually had to separate Lennox away from Hilda, doing a 5 count to threaten Hilda’s opponent of a disqualification.

Lennox, of course, took advantage of the reefree's count to know how long she'd be allowed stomped away at the back of HIlda's knee without being disqualified, not stopping until after she heard the count reach 4. Once she did, Thornette stepped away from the women and turned around, arms spread wide, at the crowd. In response, she got a mixture of cheers & Boos, though, it was mostly boos.

Hilda was clutching onto her chest in sheer amounts of pain; seems like an age thing. Hilda then crawled away towards the corner as she needed a moment to take a deep breath and recover from what should’ve been a disqualification of stomps. However, Hilda set herself up as a vulnerable fighter in the eyes of Lennox as she was pretty much in the firing range of another move from her opponent.

With Hilda having scrambled out of the corner and Lennox having completed her showing off to the crowd, she quickly turned back to her opponent. She was eager to show the crowd why she was the sovereign of spikes, but the chance to keep working over her older opponent's knee was too enticing. She'd bend over to lift Hilda's left leg up off the canvas. Then held it up before commencing five more right footed stomps to the back of the older woman's left knee.

Hilda would scream in pain as her knees were being taken out by Lennox with some stomps. She was holding onto the ropes as her leg was over the canvas for those stomps. She is definitely gonna feel that over the years and she’s only in her late 30s.

Hilda then smartly took it to the outside as she physically jumped in between the middle and bottom rope to get a breather. However, she wouldn’t be out of the woods yet.

Lennox had, more or less, intentionally allowed her opponent to climb out on to the other side of the ring's ropes. For her own part, Thornette wouls follow the woman outside, out on to rhe ring apron. Now, she felt, would be the time to show everyone the meaninf of her self-appointed title.

First, she'd attempt to get close enough to Hilda to punch her once in the gut, to bend her over just enough in an attempt to set up her for a ring apron DDT she called,

Hilda was lifted onto the apron before receiving a blow to the stomach. She was then pulled into Lennox before she had her head driven into the ring apron with a ring apron DDT. That made the goose of LAW groggy as she slumped back down towards the outside of the ring.

The referee told Hilda and Lennox to get back into the ring as they started the ten count. Hilda held her head in pain as the referee got to the count of 3 for the countout. Hilda would get back up and try to get back into the ring.

The DDT was perfomed exactly as she wanted it, on the ring apron, the hardest point on the ring. Making a loud thud from thr impact. Lennox sat on the apron for a few moments, admoring her handy work & smiling, before rolling into the ring as her opponent lay dazed and in pain holding her head. But that wasn't all the sovereign of spikes had in store for her opponents' head, far from it, in fact.

As Hilda attempted to climb back in the ring, Thornette would try to 'help' her, pulling her by her hair over the middle rope. As she did, she'd lift her right knee into the woman's face twice, in an attempt to ensure she'd be properly defenceless for what Lennox had in store next.

Hilda would get knee’d in the face as she laid dazed on the middle rope. She placed her arms over the middle rope to properly brace herself for what Lennox was gonna do next. She may be dazed but Hilda still had the mind of an experience wrestler to where she can set up perfectly to sell the moves from her opponents.

With Hilda positioned on the ropes, just how she wanted her, Lennox pulled the woman further through them. Next, Thornette wrapped one arm around her neck, jumped u then dropped backward, spiking the woman's head to the canvas with another powerful DDT. With little regard for her foe's fighting spirit, she'd pull the woman away from the ropes and lazily cover her with a basic pin. She doubt that enough had been done to keep her down & part of her wanted a knockout win anyway.
