The lights dimmed in the arena in preparation for the next match up, a driving guitar riff playing before a loud voice shouting "BOOM LAY! BOOM LAY! BOOM! BOOM LAY! BOOM LAY! BOOM! BOOM LAY! BOOM LAY! BOOM! BOOM LAY! BOOM LAY! ...BOOM!" Diamond Eyes by Shinedown was in full swing as "Diamond" Deanna Duncan ran out onto the stage, nodding her head enthusiastically to the song. She clapped along with the song, encouraging the crowd to join her as she grooved her way down the ramp, taking the time to slap hands with those in the front rows, a big smile on her face as she let the music heighten her already bombastic mood.

When she got to the bottom of the ramp, Deanna would then charge and slide under the bottom rope. Taking off her jacket, she would throw it out towards the ring announcer, doing laps around the ring with a hand in the air. She had a singles match up now and was eager to get another win under her belt. The platinum-haired girl, now standing in her short vest and skirt would then find her corner and leaped up, sitting across the top rope like it were a hammock, reclining comfortably as she bobbed her head to the beat until her theme song went out. Duncan didn't know much about her opponent, but she knew she was relatively new to LAW. To her, it didn't matter. She'd trounce this chick and look damn good doing it. But she would patiently wait for her entrance as she lay across the corner, resting her hands behind her head. She needed this win--it would be just the pick-me-up she needed lately!

Camile let out a breath. She was on her third match at LAW, but the whole affair still made her quite nervous. Still, no way to go but forwards. She stepped into the arena, making her way to the ring amidst a wave of cheers and applause. That was the upside to all the publicity, the fans tended to be kind.

She clambered into the ring and got her first good look at her opponent. High energy, cheerful, all around pretty pleasant. That was a good start. She’d give a mock curtsy and extend one of her hands with a polite smile.

”Good afternoon, Deanna. I’m Camile. I trust we can have an enjoyable match tonight, yes?”

Camile wanted to win, and badly. But manners cost nothing, so why, she thought, not be polite?

Deanna Duncan watched Camile as she made her entrance. A simple one, and ultimately the Diamond shrugged her shoulders and waited for her to enter. At least her opponent was cute. A big smile on her face, Deanna would give a brief stretch before sliding out of her perch and to stand on the mat. She met Camile Dion in center of the ring and then saw her extend her head, looking amused. "Oh, yeah. Sure." She took Dion's hand and held onto it, giving it a shake as she spoke.

"Awesome to see you. Love the little leotard you got going on there. Cute everything you got happening, really. But I'm looking to win this one, and you better believe I'm not handing you a win or anything. I'm going to really be taking it to you hard, not holding back, and I'll be honeeeest, I'm thinking I'm going to take the dub here," rambled on Deanna, giving one final shake of their hands before stepping back, adopting a grappling pose. "Alright, let's go!" concluded Duncan before the referee sounded for the bell!

”A pleasure to meet you as well, Deanna. And by all means, go all in. I’d expect nothing less. Although I might not place any bets on your victory. I don’t plan to lose today.”

Camile grinned. Deanna was a competitive woman, she gathered that much. Fortunately it didn’t seem that she was so competitive as to be malicious. Camile would take that as a blessing.

She’d retreat to her corner and await the ringing of the bell. Today, she thought she’d attempt a more defensive opener, as her opponent seemed the type to begin with aggression. She would simply assume a defensive stance and await an opening attack. When her opponent closed in to do something she’d strike out with an elbow to the nose.
