Theme Song
Aaliyah Blackwell
Aaliyah barked at the referee to get in the ring and set it up as the referee shuddered before obeying the businesswoman. The referee rolled in as she set up the chair and Aaliyah barked to get her a microphone and water bottle. The referee ran back outside like a little servant grabbing Aaliyah’s items getting them to her before the manager waved the official off throwing out a few yen for her troubles from her breast pocket. The referee sheepishly collected the money and rolled out of the ring. Aaliyah ordered for production to cut her music as she crossed her legs putting on an innocent smile as the boos started to pick up in volume.
“What a reception! I come back after so long and you people still treat me with disrespect. Anyway,” Aaliyah began as she coughed before clearing her throat. “You all might be wondering….why I decided to come back? Why come back after all the trouble my previous clients caused? Why sully my name even further in the mud? Why? Why? Why…shut the fuck up! I came back….because I damn well can.”
Aaliyah took a moment to acknowledge the boos as she just shook her head and continued: “There is a lot of unprofessional people in this company. I kept up with the product and oh my god….i thought this place reeked before, but fuck me, it went downhill into the damn sewers. I left because Cyber Legacy pushed me away from this place. They always wanted to go into business for themselves and I left them to it. I’m affected by them just as much as you all are. I want nothing to do with them. We are no longer in business with one another.”
The chants of “BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT!” rang throughout the crowd as Aaliyah just shook her head some more before crossing her arms. She raised the microphone again, but the chants grew louder. Aaliyah tapped the microphone on the side of her chair causing a feedback loop to screech and some of the fans held their ears.
“Shut the hell up, I’m not done. We need to clean up. I have already spoken at length with management and they have accommodated me. They said since this will be my first time wrestling in LAW, they wanted me to choose my first opponent wisely. In any match type I pleased. Well, there’s so many girls to choose from. I could choose…..hmmmmm…..who should I choose? Decisions, decisions, decisions…..” Aaliyah pondered as she comically tapped her chin in sarcastic thought.
“Oh! It’s on my brain! I want to fight…..Misa Otomura!” Aaliyah chose as the crowd went into gasps at the mention of the ring announcer. “Oh, I’m sorry, I totally forgot she’s not a wrestler. But….I’m sure management won’t mind making this one teensy exception. Slip a few yen under the table to make the match. Misa, I couldn’t care less if you aren’t a wrestler, someone needs to put you in your place for good. You want to say you are making a difference for your life? You’re still not in Alcoholics Anonymous which might be more shocking. In my time away, I’ve become a manger to a powerful faction, co-led a destructive merger between two colossal forces, gotten trained for wrestling, brought professionalism back to the industry, made my mark on the indies, and have a ring on my finger. What have you done? Tried not to stumble? Tried not to kill yourself with liquid poison? Tried to find an idol group that will let you leech off their riches? We don’t and won’t ever compare, Misa. You’re a fraud while I’m legit. I won’t hold back on this. Misa vs. me for my debut match. I need to clean up the mess she’s left behind. I don’t want a normal match, oh no, I want No DQ and I want “I Quit” rules. Make it Dan! I’m putting the princess out to a drunken pasture for good. That’s the promise of a professional!”
Aaliyah threw the mic down as her theme music started and she looked in the camera adjusting her hair blowing a kiss to viewers at home. She got up and rolled out of the ring stating her ambitions for Misa to share the ring with her. Whether the former idol liked it or not.
