Midnight and the Angel - Karen Meadows vs Megumi Mutoh

"I can fix that." Was all Karen had to say to that. Watching Megumi stand up and try to show she had alot to offer the match still, something while Karen appreciated as a wrestler, was also wanting to crush as a wrestler. As she started to come up Karen would drive a knee into her opponents belly and hook her head adjusting for a second before she would toss her down to the floor.

"Hyah!" Karen said attempting to drive her down headfirst into the mat while looking to quickly try and push her to her back and go for a quick pin. For no other reason then to make sure to keep her on her toes and keep Megumi from resting properly.

As Megumi got up on her feet, still winded from her opponent's earlier attacks, Karen was quick to capitalize on her weakened state as she quickly drove her knee into Megumi's belly, causing her to sputter out spittle. "Gouughhh!!!" Doubling over, Karen then followed up by throwing her into the mat, driving her head first into the canvas. "UuUURGHH!!"

Rattled as her skull hit the mat, she was then rolled over onto her back before Karen went for a quick pinfall attempt. Despite that, she was still conscious enough to hear the referee counting for the pin.

"ONE!"

Right before two, Megumi would thrust up one arm, breaking the pin. Still, she was pretty disoriented that she was unable to fight back at the moment.

Now it was her turn to attack and keep Megumi from being able to defend herself while attacking her and going for a DDT. After the pin Megumi was quickly able to break it after a one count Karen didnt expect it to do anything beyond messing with her. Taking the moment to grab both her arms and pull them backwards behind her she would start pulling her up to her feet and trying to get her up to her feet.

Once she was yanked up she would toss her up and over to send her crashing to the mat once again keeping her arms locked up to prevent Megumi from being able to properly defend herself from anything and send her crashing head first into mat.

Still reeling from the earlier attack, Megumi was unable to stop Karen from pulling her back up on her feet before she was tossed up and sent crashing down into the canvas once again, her head hitting the mat. "Uuuuughh!!!" She flopped onto the mat, dazed and stunned. She was unable to soften her landing due to her hands being trapped by Karen.

Groaning, Megumi would try to roll over onto her front, hoping to crawl away from Karen. But her headache was making it difficult for her to actually move, and she was still in a very dangerous position, with Karen still able to capitalize on her weakened state. She needed to come up with something fast or she might end up taking more damages.

Throwing her around and sending her to the floor Karen felt fully in control of the match now. Knowing that Megumi wouldnt be getting used to that anytime soon she needed to make sure the Genius was constantly under attack just like the girl did to her in the beginning. Looking over at the ropes Karen would bounce off them and start to charge at the girl while she was crawling.

With a scream she would rush her and lower herself to knock her down with a knee to the side of the girls face. Aiming for her temple to really make sure she felt that one for awhile. Her mind starting to race as she began to get into the attack, kind of like the character she grew to enjoy a bit too much while she was on set.

Still disoriented as she attempted to crawl away, Megumi was unable to see Karen going to the ropes and rebounding from them, returning back to her to deliver a hard knee to the side of her head, right into her temple. "Mgguuuhh!!!" Megumi's head recoiled aside as she was thrown onto the mat from the sheer force of Karen's attack before she ended up on her back. Thanks to the attack, she was seeing stars, feeling groggy and dazed.

"Guuu... ngghh..." she groaned, lying on her back as her limbs splayed on the canvas. At the moment, things didn't look good for the former Wrestle Angel as she was helpless before her dark-haired foe.

Whatever cobwebs were plaguing her in the beginning were gone now as Karen was showing Megumi she had more then a few tricks up her sleeve. Moving around her and constantly keeping up the attack Karen stayed on the clearly hurting Megumi as she grabbed the girls arms and would step on her stomach with both her feet. Pulling on her arms as she did so she would pull on her arms to more or less pull her up into her stomach and huer her breathing some more.

After that she would drop her hands and step off of her before kicking her to her side to sit on her back. Grabbing her arms again and pulling her up and over her legs before pulling her up and into a camel clutch to keep on the pressure with her submission hold.

"Guuhh... nnghh..." Megumi groaned as she was rolled over onto her stomach. Still seeing stars, the former Wrestle Angel was unable to stop Karen from locking her in the camel clutch, wrenching her head back. "Gaaaahhh...!!" She cried out in pain as she was being put in the submission hold, feeling the pressure around her neck and back thanks to the camel clutch.

At the moment, Megumi was unable to do anything but endure this. She had weathered through worse submission holds before. A mere camel clutch would not force her to submit, or so she thought. She might be a genius of wrestling, but even she had her own limit. She could only hope that she wouldn't reach that limit, which would result in her defeat.

<Megumi was a tough cookie, but nothing Karen couldn't break down if she was smart or skilled enough, pulling on the ever tough submission hold she started to pull back on it as long as she possibly could looking to really work down the defenses of her opponent while she had the chance to. Pulling on that head to make Megumi extend that back as far as she could possibly make it go.

Her face was determined, if this move didnt do the job she would keep putting her into new ones that would slowly crushing any and all resistance until the girl finally had enough. It was the only way to do things for now as she tried to secure her hold to make sure Megumi wouldnt just break out so easily.

Megumi kept on resisting, her pride demanding her to not submit to this hold. She had endured far worse holds before, and she would not submit to the likes of this hold, not while she still had enough fight left in her. Roaring out, Megumi would then try a different approach to escape by rocking her body from side to side, slowly going faster in her attempt to throw Karen off of her back.

It was a desperate attempt, but Megumi would keep on fighting through the pain as she would attempt to break through the hold. She knew that her body had its own limit, genius or not.
