Meeting your heroes

Eve winced a little as she finished stretching, loosening herself up for the evening's training session. Eve had always been in great shape, but since training up to become a professional wrestler, her body had become more fine tuned. She was particularly proud of her midriff, seeing some very nice definition with spectacular abs. She did not wish to overbuild herself, having a bit of pride in her appearance, but she certainly couldn't hold back with all the wrestlers being in prime condition. She wore her in ring attire, wearing a darker variation with a purple top and black pants. A few wrist and thing arm bands completed her image... appearance wise she felt ready for the ring.

She still felt her skills as a wrestler needed some fine tuning however, and so nearly every single day in the week, Eve slipped in to use the gym facilities as well as the practice ring. It was in the center of the squared circle that she stood right now, finishing her warm ups and stretches. She was about to practice spring boarding and make sure her movement was up to scratch when she heard a door open and close at the far end of the hall. Eve gave a glance to see whom it could be, no doubt another member of the roster to meet.

Her eyes went wide however as a familiar figure entered the gym. It was a woman Eve knew very well but had only dreamed of meeting. Eve cleared her throat quickly, trying to maintain composure infront of the legendary wrestler. She didn't want to make a show of herself or seem too excitied, but it was difficult. It wasn't every day you came face to face with Alaina the Amazon.
"H... hey!" Eve greeted, already ruining any sense of composure she had. After the initial sheepish greeting... Eve didn't know what to say or even do next.

Alaina was ready for a workout, and today was endurance as well as mat skills. She was wearing a o e piece leopard swimsuit along with matching boots and kneepads. Her gym bag was over her shoulder as she made her way into the gym.

She heard a voice call out to her and she turned, looking over at a fit young lady. "Hey! How are you doing?" Alaina asked with a smile and wave. "Got a busy training day ahead huh?" Alaina continued as she waited for the you woman to respond.

"Y... yeah. Most certainly. I'm pretty new here, still waiting for my first match but I know its coming soon. So I'm training myself up until then" Eve responded after a brief delay.
"You're Alaina aren't you? My god I used to watch your matches with my dad!" Eve couldn't contain herself any longer. She tried to play it cool but now she was fan girling. She managed a small but pleasant sounding giggle as Eve covered her mouth with both hands. "I can't believe your here. I know you work here and all but I just never imagined actually getting a chance to meet you." Eve continued.

It was amazing to see the Amazon in the flesh. She had been in the game longer then almost anyone, and she was still a hot contender and without a doubt still the wrestler to beat to make a name for yourself.
"Hey... if you want the ring I can come back another time. It's no problem for me." Eve then added, starting to believe she might have been in the way.

Alaina laughed a bit when Eve spoke. "Well In hope you guys liked what you saw when you watched all those years ago." Alaina said.

She listened to Eve and stood woth a hand on her hip and the other motioning towards the ring. "Well, if you like why not join me? Show me what you can do." Alaina said giving Eve a looking over. "I need the work and I will give a young spry wrestler as good of a run as I can." Alaina added with a wink as she walked over towards the ring, putting her bag down before climbing on the apron and holding the top two ripes apart creating space for Eve to climb between.

"Ha! Most certainly. We still like what we see now. Believe me you've still got it, the skills, the beauty... everything. You havn't lost your edge." Eve couldn't help but compliment, though she spoke honestly. The offer to join Alaina in the ring for a little session took the young new wrestler off guard, watching as the Amazon seperated the ropes as an offering for her to join a legend in the ring. Eve looked a little dumbfounded, she would be a fool and her father would berate her forever if she didn't accept.

It was just a case of trying to play it as cool as possible without seeming like a total fan girl.
"Y... yeah! I would be honoured!" Eve near giggled, feeling slightly embarrassed at how she was acting. It was not every day you got to meet with one of your favourite wrestlers of all time... it was not every day you got to step into the ring and spar with them. Now it was a case of not making herself look like a total fool.

Eve entered the ring, before pulling the ropes herself for Alaina to follow. When the two stood in the ring, Eve put a little distance between the two, a noticable spring within her step and a smile she couldn't wipe off for the life of her.
"So... what are you thinking? Shall we just go at it for a little while?" Eve spoke, her smile growing.

Alaina was happy to meet a fan, even if said fan was potentially a star on the rise while Alaina's own best days were behind her.

"I was thinking standard match rules. Honor system for the pin count and rope breaks. The usual. I hope you are ready though because I give everyone my best." Alaina said with a smile as she stretched near her corner.

She shook her arms and legs out, making her way to the center of the ring, signaling that she was ready. "When you want to start I will be all set when you are."

"Alright." Eve spoke, keeping that pleasant smile upon her lips. She crouched low to one side, stretching one of her legs out before doing the same with the other, bouncing a little to make sure her body was ready after a brief warm up. When Eve had herself convinced she was ready, she gave a nod to Alaina to signal she was ready to go.

Eve took a wrestling stance, looking on guard and pretty quick on her feet. Thankfully she was not too nervous given this was only a spar. She wasn't expecting to do all that great against Alaina who had a world of experience under her belt, and that was before you even hit the immense skill and strength of the famed wrestler. Still, if Eve could at least get a few attacks in and earn her respect, that was all she hoped to achieve. Something deep within her core however made her feel she was probably going to make a complete show of herself... but again! It was just a spar! What was she really worrying about?

"Let's do this." Eve whispered, before approaching the Amazon. She knew her fighting style would differ greatly from the old school approach of Alaina, and she hoped her high momentum style would take the veteran off guard... well... probably not likely, but it was still worth a go. Eve moved with speed and precision, dashing past Alaina and ducking low to avoid any oncoming swings or clothelines that might come her way. With momentum on her side, Eve threw her body at the ropes and sprung back towards the Amazon, looking to land quite an impressive cross body strike against her.

Alaina had to give Eve credit: She paid attention to her scouting reports and Alaina's old matches! The amazon swung and missed with a clothesline as Eve ran underneath at an alarming pace!

A surprised amazon turned and saw Eve leaping in the air right at her! "Nice try girl but not today! Yahhh!" Alaina shouted as she planted her feet, grabbing hold of Eve mid-air and twisting to turn the cross body block instead into a big powerslam by Alaina!

Perhaps it was a rookie mistake on Eve's part to believe she could catch the veteran off guard. Though quick with her attack, Alaina's reflexes proved to be as sharp as ever, and with what few seconds she had to react, the Amazon reacted sharply and with dangerous precision. Where Eve should have collided with the Amazon and brought her down, instead, not only did her momentum find itself being caught out, but actually used against her.

The world seemed to turn and spin as Eve felt powerful arms grasp at her torso and legs, and without a chance to find her bearings, she felt her back slam against the canvas below with a sudden crash. The pain followed straight after, forcing a grunt from the young wrestler as the force literally bounced her. First blood to Alaina as it where, as Eve managed to quickly recover and roll aside out of reaching distance. She winced and arched her back a little as she managed to get to her feet, biting her lower lip as she favoured the small of her back with one hand.

"I don't know... there's still plenty of time in the day." Eve responded with some delay. This time she pressed her attack again, hoping to have a little more luck this time. With a quick and elegant cartwheel, Eve slipped by Alaina to once more use the ropes and momentum in her favour, though this time she went for a high angled drop kick towards Alaina's chest, trying to give her less to grasp onto this time to save from another devastating counter.

Alaina watched as Eve got up not really any worse for wear. Alaina put a lot of power into the powerslam so she was impressed... and a bit worried. Alaina again tried to get her hands on the speedy woman only for her to cartwheel away! "Ohhh a showoff, I will show ya that... Oomph!"

Alaina groaned as the dropkick hammered her, her head whipping back as she crashed hard to the mat! Alaina laid there clutching her chest and kicking in pain a couple times before struggling her way back up to her feet, letting out a last weak moan of pain as she winced. She tried to keep her eyes on Eve although the dropkick hurt like hell. She could only hope her powerslam had some sort of effect on the young woman!
