Aftermath of Fang vs Jack Reynolds

Hiro had to think for a moment about this situation. It seemed both him and Sylvia will not back down on who should be the one to face Jack one on one. There was only one solution Hiro could think of...

"Well...ok...how about we settle like this...you and I will have to wrestle and whoever wins should be the one to face Jack. How does that sound to you?"

He would ask Sylvia and awaited her response.

Sylva listened carefully to Hiro's proposal. The only way to settle the decision to fight Jack...was to fight each other. Sylva pondered only for a moment, looking at Fang, before looking back to Hiro.

"Fine. Let's settle this quickly though." Sylva said, agreeing to the idea, but making it clear that it should be settled as soon as possible.

"But not tonight. Fang needs us." Sylva noted before turning back to her sister.

Hirp nodded in agreement as he would say,

"Agreed. Fang's well-being comes first. We'll settle this on our terms, later."

Hiro sat down and placed a hand on Sylvia's shoulder.

"But whoever wins must remember that our goal is justice, not personal victory. We fight for Fang, not for ourselves."

Hiro would then extend a hand for a handshake,

"For Fang?"

Hiro would wait for Sylvia's response.

Hiro did not need to wait on Sylva's response as she immediately shook his hand.

"For Fang." Sylva merely uttered, just as the doctor came in.

"I'm sorry for the disruption. I have received an update from the lab. An assessment has been doing for Miss Candace's condition. May I speak with you first, Miss Lewis? I will talk to Mr. Takahashi next."

Sylva turned and gave Fang's head a gentle rub as she said, "Be back soon." She turned to leave the room to speak with the doctor. It was just Hiro now with a sleeping Fang. However, a few minutes would go by before that would not be the case.

Fang's eyes slowly opened. She had yet registered what was going on, but her eyes shifted to recognize anything in the room. And then she saw him.

"Hi...ro?" Fang asked, in a tone that was clearly groggy and barely able to communicate.

Hiro was confused why the doc wanted to talk to him and Sylvia separately instead of together. However Sylvia didn't seem to question it as She told Fang that she will be right back before leaving with the doctor. Now it was just Hiro and Fang alone in the hospital room. While Fang was still asleep, Hiro was praying to himself...he felt something terrible is happening and he hoped that it wasent anything life threatening.

Meanwhile Fang was waking up from her slumber and when she said his name, Hiro quickly turned to see her face to face. Although he was burden with sadness, Hiro kept a smile in front of his lover to assure her that everything will be fine as long as they are together.

"Hey Beautiful...Im here"

Hiro would slowly caress her cheek on a loving manner before placing a temder kiss on the forehead.

"I know your feeling hurt right now...but don't worry...hopefully everything will be fine. Your strong and me and your sister are here for you."

Hiro looked deeply and caring at Fang's eyes.

Fang tried to smile as she felt Hiro caress her cheek and kiss her on the forehead. She reached up her left arm to try and touch Hiro, but she was feeling immense pain in her neck and back when she tried. Her teeth were gritted in response as her hand almost touched Hiro's face, only to fall short. There was a look of confusion and fear on her face as her arm fell back on the bed. She could feel something around her neck, as she realized she was in a hospital bed.

"I....it hurts...to...move..." Fang said weakly as she tried moving her legs but the pain in her back prevented her from moving.

"What...happened..." Fang asked as she drifted between consciousness and unconsciousness.

"No No No..."

Hiro's heart sank as he tried to put Fang at ease, gently guiding her left arm back onto the soft hospital bed. When Fang mentioned that it hurt to move, Hiro responded with concern, his voice filled with compassion.

"I know, Fang. You've been through a lot. It's okay, just try to stay still and conserve your strength. The doctors will take care of everything, and I'll make sure you're comfortable."

He adjusted her pillows and tucked the blankets around her, striving to provide whatever comfort he could in the face of her pain. Despite his own worries, he remained resolute in his determination to be a source of strength for her.

When asked what had happened to her, Hiro had to take a moment to sigh and tell her the truth.

"You took a Small Package Driver from Jack...and...judging by your position you didn't properly cushion your head and neck. Your in a hospital now and you have a neckbrace...and...I'm very sorry for what happened to you out there Fang...but I promise you that your sister and I will be there for you to help you recover..."

Hiro tried to cheer Fang up by reassuring that she had him and her family to help her.

Fang felt Hiro doing everything he could to make her feel comfortable. As she heard Hiro explain what happened to her, Fang remembered the fight. How rough it was and how painful it had been. Plus that Jack being rude, crude and...

"Did...Jack...do something while...I was...unconscious?" Fang asked, recalling moments when Jack said he would do things to her. She was terrified that he had done something to her after he took her out with that driver move at the end.

Hiro remembered Jack carrying Fang to the medical team, but Hiro didn't know what the context to Jack's true intention as Hiro wrote it off as Jack being an ass.

"All he did was carry you to the medical team...but he was still laughing to himself and grinning..."


The realization that Jack had callously touched his woman after the match ignited a fierce determination within Hiro. He knew that it was not just about the physical harm Jack had inflicted; it was about the disrespect and disregard for Fang's well-being that fueled his anger.

As Hiro struggled to contain his emotions, he took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure. He knew that giving in to blind rage wouldn't help Fang or anyone else. With effort, he managed to calm himself, his expression reflecting a mix of resolve and concern.

"I won't let him get away with this,"

Hiro vowed quietly, his voice tinged with steely determination.

"Fang, I promise you, I won't let him get away with this."

Fang tried to shift her head to say no, because she was afraid that Hiro may get angry and go a Jack recklessly because of her.

"Please...I don't...you...get hurt...because...of...me" Fang's speech was more fragmented as she tried to say that she didn't want Hiro doing something and getting hurt because of her.
