Karbon's day at the arcade! (Karbon and Gil - The saga continues)

The special move that Karbon performed came out in a flurry! The numbers on the combo meter would tally up until the last hit took place, giving it a grand total of 17 hits! They both fell back to the ground of the fighting arena with Gil now looking a little worse for wear compared to the knight. Her once cute outfit was now torn and tattered while there wasn't even a speck of dirt on Karbon's armor, "Guess it's just not your round huh?" Karbon said while pointing his sword at her.

Looking over her tattered clothes, the knight could only smile and say, "That's actually a good look on you!" He then laughed at his own sarcasm before slicing his blade away from his foe. With Gil's health bar now down to 15% remaining, there was just no way he could lose this round now right? With his ego fully stoked, Karbon then said, "You might as well just cut your losses now. Maybe you'll do better the next round?" Another chuckle bellowed out.

Question was though, how would he like to put her out? He already used up his special meter so any of those moves were out of the question. His health wasn't below 30% so he couldn't use his ultimate move. There was some command grapple moves that he had up his sleeve, but maybe he should save them for the next round? Then again, Gil wasn't posing much of a threat at all so why not? Karbon began to make his way over to Gil, looking to give her one final blow with a grapple move, but with how nonchalant he was acting right now, this was Gil's chance if she had enough strength to fight back.

Gil had, for lack of a better term, had her ass handed to her in this game! She wasn't posing any kind of threat, she looked like she had little idea about what she was doing... But, it was VR, right? Everything seemed to act as it would in real life, maybe it wasn't so complicated...

Gil didn't respond to the arrogant boasting of her foe, instead, she focused in, as Karbon got cocky. He neared, hardly paying attention to the fact that Gil was very much still alive in this round!

"Hah...!" Gil suddenly swept her legs out, hoping to trip Karbon up, flat onto his back and leave himself wide open! "...Right into the trap...!" Gil smirked, crawling over atop Karbon's body, in an almost sensual manner! "...Pucker up, it's my special ability...!" Gil giggled, suddenly locking lips with the man, his health began to drain quickly as hers replenished!

With this match being over in Karbon's mind, he was hoping to hear some begging or groveling from Gil, but instead she remained defiant in her stance! Not watching either his legs or hers, the sudden sweep that she did caught the knight off guard. His legs would come up and out from under him and landed flat on his back! Taking a few points of damage to his health bar, "Grr... What a dirty trick!" He said out loud to her. Before he could try and get up though, Gil would crawl on top of him and pin him down. She would then say something that confused the knight, "Pucker up? What do you... MMPHPHP!!!"

Gil was kissing him... GIL WAS ACTUALLY KISSING HIM NOW!!! Even if this was virtual reality, Karbon never thought in a million years that Gil would ever kiss him! His mind would begin to overflow with emotions from every direction as she began the kiss. But then... Something strange started to happen. He looked up towards his and her health bars and saw that his was slowly going down while hers was slowly filling up. This wasn't just some kind of distraction... This was an actual move of hers!

With the kiss fully engaged now, Karbon could feel his life force start to drain away. Little tendrils of pink ribbons and bands would come out of his body and enter into hers, signally the flow of energy leaving him and going into her. To add a bit more flair, little pink hearts started to form above their head as the cute kiss made for both a flashy and seductive move. The pink hearts would then fade away as they got further up into the air, only to be replaced with another one, making the cute scene even cuter. There was nothing he could do right now as he was caught in her special move and can only wait it out until it's finished.

Gil has slapped down a reverse card and there was nothing Karbon could do about it! Gil wished she could say this was all part of her masterful plan, lure him into a false sense of security before pulling the rug out from under him... So she would say that, even if it wasn't really true...!

Gil had trapped Karbon into a kiss, slowly draining his health, and it never seemed to stop! Down 1/8, then to a 1/3, 1/2, 1/4...! It was almost unfair how much of Karbon's health that had been taken away and given to Gil!

Pink heart flew around them finally, Gil was at full health, and Karbon sat low, it wouldn't take too much to finish him off... "...You mess with the witch, you get the broom..." Gil snickered...!

"...But the real hero here is my incredible move the... The super pink, no... The kiss of death? No, not that either, maybe the heart attack? That doesn't fit too well, it's more of a spell than anything, maybe a killer kiss? No, that's too violent... Pink... Heart breaker.... Heart..." Gil trailed off, seemingly forgetting that Karbon was even there...

The more his health bar dropped, the more frantic that Karbon became. It was so unreal to him to see all that hard work that he did just vanish in front of his eyes! Not to mention Gil kissing him all the while as well! After the long kiss was finally finished, Karbon's health now stood where Gil's once had and her health was completely full!

"H-how can this happen!" The knight exclaimed loudly as he up his hands up to his head. He then began to spit on the ground to try and get Gil's saliva out of his mouth, "And... And you kissed me no less!!!" A huge blush would appear on his cheeks from the realization, completely throwing him off of his game now.

But... It was a good thing that Gil got distracted by what she wanted to name her move. If she didn't, she could have totally finished Karbon off right then and there to begin the second round with a victory under her belt, but that wasn't the case. He watched as Gil would turn around, still saying different names to name her move when Karbon got back to his senses and said, "I'm going to make sure you never kiss me again!"

With her back completely turned to him, this was a chance to get a grapple off! Everyone knows in fighting video games that back grapples are one of the most damaging moves you can do! And, Karbon has just the right move to prove it! If Gil wasn't able to turn around in time or counteract it, the knight would initiate the grapple and place his left hand on her left shoulder. He then would pull her back slightly and impale his sword through her back and lift her straight up into the air. Of course, with this being virtual reality and all, there was no blood or nothing, but just major damage to her health bar. Then, to finish it off, Karbon would turn his body 180 degrees and use his sword like a hammer to drive Gil right to the ground, onto her back, shoulders, and neck!

Gil turned her back to think on what her move should be called, none of it was too catchy though, not to her, it didn't feel right! For how effective and seemingly dangerous it was, it had to be a mix of the sweetness that was a kiss, and also a bit intimidating, maybe something like... "...Kiss- OW!"

Suddenly from behind, Karbon struck in a rather violent manner! Gil watched her health bar take a large hit as she practically broke her back at the mercy of Karbon's blade. But if she thought that was the end of it, she would be sorely mistaken, as Karbon looked to one-up his already brutal move, swinging around then slamming Gil into the rough turf beneath his feet!

Gil laid crumbled in a pile of rubble, slowly shaking her head, despite the attack, seeming more upset than anything, considering, well, you know, it was all a game...! "...What the heck, dude!? That was messed up, I wasn't ready...!" Gil stomped her feet, fists clinched at her sides! "...I'll get you back for that you big meanie...!" Gil picked up a rock that laid beside her, aiming it right between Karbon's eyes, which proved to be enough to knock that final sliver of health he had down...!

If Gil was able to mount a comeback, then so can he! The last move that he just done netted about 40% of her heath bar, a relatively nice chunk! Just a couple more heavy hitting attacks and this round can still be won by him! Karbon turned around so that he was now facing his down foe and gripped his sword in anticipation of her getting back up on her feet. As she did, Gil would vent her frustrations at him for getting in a cheap hit and he would respond, "What do you mean you weren't ready? Anything goes in a battle and excuse me for not giving you time to think of a lame name for your lame attack!" He said as he watched her stomp her feet and clench her fists.

Karbon could only laugh at the sight as if she was a spoiled kid who just got her toy taken away from her. Then, she would say that she would get him back and the knight could only smirk at her comment, "Oh, is that so? I'll like to see you tr-" His line of dialogue was cut short as he felt a rock hit him right between the eyes. All of a sudden, his character would fall over on the ground, "W-what the hell just happened!?" Karbon was legitimately confused until he took a look at his health bar and saw that it was completely gone, "What!? That little pebble can do damage!?" It was truly embarrassing... Getting taken out by such a small stone to finish the round.

Whatever, there was still a second round to be had as both of their health bars would fill back up to full. Karbon stood back up and placed himself back into the starting position along with Gil, "Alright, you got lucky with that special move of yours, but that is the LAST time you'll ever kiss me again! Got it!?" He would say to her before the announcer would announce the start of the second round. As soon as he said, "Fight!" The knight blasted into action as he scraped his sword against the ground, causing sparks to appear, and drove it upwards, trying to uppercut Gil right into the air!

Gil herself wasn't even sure the pebble would do any damage, but apparently it did, and just enough to knock the big bad knight down and give her round one! She stared on for a moment before dusting off her hands and folding her arms over her chest, a smug grin plastered over her face...! "...All according to plan..."

"...Lucky? Maybe you should have just looked out for it better...!" Gil kept smug, now looking down to her cute outfit which had been torn into a tattered mess, it was a little upsetting, it's where she spent most of her time creating her character...! "...You know, I don't even have a weapon and I'm kicking yo-" As if on queue, Gil was smacked up into the air with Karbon's sword, she flew up and peaked, before then making her descent flying right back down to her foe...!

Karbon came out of the gate like a man possessed! The way the last round ended was just too pitiful and he needed to make a statement, both to himself and Gil, that he meant business here. Catching Gil off guard, the knight's sword uppercut hit with full effect, causing 10% of damage to her health bar and sending her floating her in the air. This gave Karbon the opportunity now to hit her with an aerial combo! Karbon crouched down for a second before leaping into the air to meet Gil and then started his combo. Diagonal slash downwards and to the right, come back up with a left handed backhand to the face, spin around roundhouse kick with his left foot, and then raising his sword upwards into the air before bringing it down onto her head to send her crashing back to the ground!

All in all, this combo did an additional 15% more damage to her health bar, leaving her with only 75% health remaining. Gil would land with a thud on the ground as the knight would then land shortly after her on his feet, "Guess it really was all just luck that you won the first round huh? Look at you... Face down in the ground again." Karbon would say as he rested his blade upon his shoulder. As with every fighting video game, he would need to wait until Gil got back to her feet in order for him to be able to land another hit on her.

Gil was not sure how to do much of anything in this game that didn't involve chucking random cool sounding spells and tossing rocks! But that might prove to be enough after that first round...!

"...Bleh...!" Gil spat out after catching a face-full of the ground, Karbon was laying in heavy, definitely better at this game despite being on the losing end of the win column right now...! "...It was not luck, it was all skill...!" Gil stood up, dusting herself down. "...And little do you know of the magic in this game..." Gil giggled!

Due to the pair standing close together, Gil was able to pull of a special bit of gravity magic! She completely took control of the space around Karbon and he began to float up. "...Didn't think this through, did you?" Gil raised her hand to her brow to sheild her eyes as Karbon floated further up. "...You should be more careful, the spellcasters bubble is a scary thing..." Suddenly, as if reaching the max height of Gil's bubble, he would fall right back down to the earth, right at Gil's feet...!
