Start of a New Storm (for Terini)

Alizeh hummed softly at Reny's question, thinking of the best way to train Reny going forward. Clearly she was a bit of a bookworm and understood the theory of everything but as demonstrated that could only get you so far.. "We won't do full contact sparring, cause like you said it'd be a bit one sided even if i only focused on defense." Alizeh said before holding a finger up.

"I actually have a idea, hang on a second." Alizeh said before hopping out of the ring and lifting the apron, digging under the ring for a moment before she pulled out a life sized padded dummy and rolled it into the ring.

"Here we go!" Alizeh said as she re entered the ring herself and hefted the dummy, which weighed around seventy pounds over to Reny. "This is something my teacher had me practice with. It'll give you something to work with while I observe your form. Make sense?" Alizeh asked whhile waiting to see how Reny took to the idea.

Alizeh sentence would have make Reny tick and piss her off just ever so slightly. She fully acknowledged that she basically have a near 0% of beating alizeh since she not that adept at dealing with hold...but saying that their fight would be one sided is enough to make her a bit piss. Sometimes the truth is what hurt the most afterall

When her opponent present her with a dummy, Reny would have tilted her head "oh like a punching bag, that is neat" Reny said softly as she would have get into her usual orthodox stance and would have quickly send a quick light jab toward the dummy face as she would have wait for it to swing back slight toward her as she would quickly send out a upper with her left to bring the dummy head up before sending a overhand right to send the dummy straight down toward the mat as she back up away before realisation kick in "...i suppose to pratice hold against it and not punch it...aren't i?" It seem she have a habit of punching first and ask later...which is kinda strange for someone who seem more polite and calm from the outside

Presenting the dummy to Reny it wasn't too hard to tell that something Alizeh had said seemed to have upset Reny, at least before the girl was now presented with something different to distract her. Regardless it didn't matter much to Alizeh. If Reny got mad at anything Alizeh said then it just meant she might be more motivated which was just fine in Alizeh's book. What really got her though was Reny's literal first instinct being to punch out the dummy. "Pfft hahaha!" Alizeh laughed out, not helped by Reny's bashful realization after but Alizeh just held her hand and gave a little wave.

"No worries hehe, it was a good combo though." Alizeh said as she bent down and picked the dummy up before holding it again. "Also not exactly. First I want to see your throwing ability." Alizeh said before moving to hand the dummy into Reny's arms. "First I want to see three german suplexes, then three dragon suplexes, anddddd three belly to bell suplexes. Think you can do that?" Alizeh asked to make sure Reny had no questions, generally figuring that the girl would know those three suplex variations.

When Alizeh began laughing for Reny misunderstandings, Reny would have begin blushing as she look away embarrass by her first instinct taking over again...bad reny, you need to be caculating and observant.

Reny berating herself corner would have soon get interrupted when Alizeh begin to praise her combo while pulling the dummy back up once more "it's...nothing special, it is something that my sister do as a finisher...mine's is nothing like her, when you see her version...mine will just become a cheap imitation of it" Reny mumble softly as she began to felt down a bit as she get reminded her sister once more

When Alizeh order her to do suplex on the dummy, Reny would have nodded as she began to take a deep breath. She doesn't have time to felt sorry for herself when she have a task to do. Reny would have begin doing all of the suplex that Alizeh mention. The result are...okay? It is definitely not bad but nothing really special about it. It is simply average and by the book, nothing more nothing less.

Hearing Reny again talk about her sister and use her as a way of putting herself down, something Alizeh would take a note of as something she'd definitely have to do something about later. In any case Reny would move onto the suplexes and do them actually pretty well making Alizeh nod with a smirk. "Alright good. Very solid technique Reny!" Alizeh said with a nod before humming as she thought of what to have her do next. "Next, show me a shoulder throw, directly into a arm bar." Alizeh said as a smile came across her lips as a idea came to her.

Reny would have nodded as she would have stand back up again as she would have used her leg to help removing the balance of the dummy to make it easier for her to apply her shoulder throw, then she would have wrap her leg around the arm of the dummy to apply a arm bar. It is a simple by the book recreation...however, it is only that good if you consider the move seperately. As a combination, it is noticeably lacking as rather than combining the two move as one. She noticeably do them seperate creating a gap between the two move, a decently noticeable gap that someone could take advantage if they are good enough and have the will to fight back even after getting shoulder toss that is

Alizeh had made her next request for Reny to do and she did it well enough but there was definitely room for improvement. "Hm ok not bad." Alizeh said gesturing of Reny to let go and sit up so she could give her feedback. "So the actual movements your making are fine, but you're a bit... stiff and the transition isn't very smooth. Basically, you're looking at it as one move when you should be trying to switch to the arm bar the moment you opponent is over over you, shifting your hands and stepping back before falling. You know?" Alizeh said hoping her critique made sense.

Reny would have laid on the mat when she done the move that Alizeh told her to perform as she would have take a couple of deep breath to keep her breathing under control as she would have listened to what Alizeh told her what she lack in and honestly she doesn't really fully understand it "i get in theory but wouldn't in pratice it just basically doing two seperate move? Since it is two completely different move afterall, so having some gap would be normal no?" Reny question as it seem while she understands the theory and basic concept of the whole grappling business, she definitely doesn't really understand the transition and combination of the grappling world

Explaining and understanding was two different things for sure. Alizeh knew this, especially with a more...academic focused gal like Reny who was more than likely used to rather direct approaches to things.Chuckling at the girl's lack of understanding Alizeh would nod gently while thinking for a moment about how to re explain things. "Well yes they are two seperate moves, and there will be a gap." Alizeh admitted before continuing.

"However... the smaller a gap there is, the faster you can apply the move, deal damage, and hopefully the more likely you are to catch someone by surprise. Plus technically speaking once you get it to a certain point, it may as well become its own move. These kinda move to move combinations are pretty much exactly how you can create a new and unique finisher for yourself. Hell that what one of my finishers is. Alizeh said, hoping that would drive home the importance of this particular lesson.

Reny would have let out a sigh and a groan as she would have tried to sit back up "yeah yeah yeah, i get it" she mumble softly as she would have stand back up "alright then what next?" She ask as she rather keep moving and learning more stuff compare to sitting still and muel over it like she usually do when she is alone

*few hours later*

Reny would have been left absulutely exhausted after all the thing that Alizeh make her do as currently Reny would have lay flat on her back as the only thing that make her seem not dead is her heavy breathing the whole time "this is torture...why do i keep agreeing to continue and not rest" she mumble to herself as she regret her life decision
